Warp

Warp type powers usually came with certain flaws.

Some were related to only being able to travel to places they could see, others would be able to travel to places they had been to before and others would encounter problems when they warped through walls or doors then found themselves stuck in between them or being cut apart by warping with something in between their bodies.

The Warp Devil Fruit abilities were still not fully shown but those that warped away would not be that far away unless they could warp to another island.

Alyssia had spread out her observation Haki for signs of movement and the auras that belonged to Blackbeard, Jozu and Van Augur.

She disappeared from her position and appeared further in the distance where Jozu was held by the back of his neck and was held down.

Blackbeard held him down and a pistol was removed from his waist as it was moving closer to the heart of Jozu. "Zehahaha! Finally I have caught you and there is nobody around to stop me. Everything has gone according to my plan. Zehahaha…"

"You talk too much and are far too arrogant. Did your father not teach you to be a little more humble and to execute your plans until the very end?"

He felt a strong piercing pain on his shoulder as a grip that was stronger than hid own was placed on his shoulder from behind him.

He did not notice the approach and felt the claws pierce into his shoulder then pulled his arm to the side. "Argh! Aaah! It hurts! It hurts!"

The bullet missed its target and his grip was released from Jozu so he was released, Van Augur had panicked when a new person arrived then warped to the side of Blackbeard to take him away once he was vulnerable. "It hurts! Aaah!"

The darkness powers made him feel far more pain and when it was inflicted upon him, he felt it even more strongly than what he should normally experience which left him in a vulnerable state once he was rolling around and clutching the painful area of his body that had been wounded.

Anyone that wished to land a killing blow could have done it right then but Alyssia could have finished the fight once she caught him off guard.

There was no Haki protection and he let his guard down when he felt that he had been successful which lead to a moment where he could have been assassinated. "It hurts! It hurts! It hurts!"

Van Auger grabbed onto Blackbeard but a strong roundhouse kick came around that was covered in Armament Haki which obstructed him from coming into contact with him.

The force of the kick sent him flying further away as he crashed into the wall of a building.

Even if he warped away, the force that made contact with him still had an impact on his body and that continued after he warped away.

It was like a falling person that had warped or passed through a warping gate to appear in another location, they would still continue with the force and direction they had been travelling unless they could find a way to redirect that force or reduce the impact they would make with anything they came into contact with.

A human shaped hole was made in the wall he crashed into and he continued further into the building into the next one before warping to another location and crashing into another wall. "Urgh.."

Jozu looked up to see a slender and tall figure that was like a kangaroo Mink and Sulong mix with a closer resemblance to the Sulong. "The Mink tribe? No? You do not look the same as those and it is not a full moon right now. Who are you?"

Not everyone had paid complete attention to Alyssia and followed her news, they had other people to focus on and not everyone cared as much about the ongoing news of the world.

Rather than being an information gatherer or a strategist, Jozu was more of a skilled combatant that had very high endurance along with his Diamond powers.

It made him practically invulnerable to most things and let him not need to think about more complicated things.

Alyssia coldly smiled and said. "No need for thanks. I just happened to get caught up in this mess."

Her foot was stepping on the neck of Blackbeard and held him down, the power exerted from her legs could not be underestimated and overpowered him.

Even if he used Haki to protect himself, it could not hold out completely and he still felt a large amount of pain during that time.

A figure appeared by him on the ground without warning and touched his body then they both disappeared from their location.

Van Augur suffered some injuries but he still was capable enough to get to Blackbeard and touched him in a single moment before warping away.

Alyssia placed her foot back on the ground and said. "Talk to your boss and let me know if you guys still want to continue the pirate life. You are losing more people and this territory will be lost so you all with either split up or will have to find a new influence to be allied with if you wish to continue surviving."
