Skill Updating

Alyssia was not synchronized with Punk Records so that meant that she was neither connected to it like the others nor contributed to its growth.

It only worked one way and that was allowing her to gain access to it undetected so that she could purchase skills and update those that were her own.

Since there was such a system in place in Punk Records, it was no wonder that the system required its full attention to connect to it.

The amount of skills and knowledge stored was just on a much greater scale.

Alyssia was looking at a nearby machine and pressed some buttons that triggered some meals to be made in an instant so she started pressing many of them allowing a lot of food to appear. "We made a good choice coming here. This place is great!"

For the initial stages of her time there, Alyssia just wanted to scroll through the available skills and knowledge available on Punk Records.

She wanted to look through the available to-purchase skills that she had yet to upgrade or those she had yet to come across before buying them but there was something else that needed to be done. 'System, begin updating skills using Punk Records.'

It worked similarly to how she usually used the system when purchasing the skills from others but when syncing with Punk Records, it was like there were so many things that were far more neatly arranged and far less full of flaws.

The system did not require as much time to compile everything and test it out since a lot of it was already tested and confirmed many times by the best geniuses on Egghead including Dr Vegapunk himself.

Some parts of Punk Records were so advanced and useful that it could even help toward advancing how the system could arrange everything it had gathered far more efficiently allowing for it to improve its previous operations and capabilities.

Compared to many other times when she gained skills from others, it was like her system was undergoing a slow and steady system update.

That update required her to remain connected to Punk Records and if disconnected then it was likely that the update would be halted.

It was not an immediate download like she had done when purchasing and downloading skills from those around her.

It required a little more time to use the connection through the brain waves since she was not close to the source of skills like usual.

It caused her to think that it would be best to get as close to Punk Records then it could be possible to make it easier for her to make use of it.

That was her hypothesis based on what she had put together from everything she had learned so far so Alyssia was even more certain that it would be best to find a place to live closer to Punk Records before looking into a way to integrate herself.

It should not be too difficult for her to integrate herself into Egghead but it would probably require her some time to do that.

She needed to have some achievements and to make a name for herself before she could gain any recognition and a useful position worthy of her abilities.

Alyssia and the others were still without those accomplishments within Egghead Island and they did not have any connections that could help them so it was starting from the beginning once again.

As the four of them enjoyed the food and drinks sitting around a table, Alyssia put out her hand towards them as if prompting them to place their hand over the top once after another. "Let's do our best here!"

Ein smirked as she placed her hand over. "Hehehe my babies will make some improvements once again."

Tristan did the same making a vow of her own. "I will make another stride forward to becoming the world's greatest doctor."

Nica leaned closer and did the same. "I wonder what interesting types of energy all these things run on. I want to understand how all of this works."

After they stated their individual goals that they wished to achieve on Egghead Island, they went on to enter deeper and explored the various parts of the island that was less restricted.

They eventually found a place where they could use the berries they had on them to purchase or rent somewhere to use whether it was a home or a space to work out of.

It seemed like the technology was quite advanced so it was quite easy to have some things prepared even if they had not been in place previously.
