As she was on board her ship once again she began to combine several things together to produce a new skill combination.
Flash Step had been upgraded to reach its full potential with the additions of Shave and Air Walk.
White Leg Style had been combined with all of the powers along with Eight Impact Fist and renamed to White Storm Leg Style.
It was also becoming more complete after adding the Six Powers to it and showed various different combat styles and combined them together to form a stronger style of combat.
The Shave would allow fast and unpredictable movement, Air Walk would provide better control when in the air and much stronger arial combat, Paper Art would allow more body flexibility and more options to avoid attacks, Iron Body would allow a stronger body with higher endurance that can withstand attacks far beyond what it should be capable of, Tempest Kick would fill in for the missing ranged attacks to not need to rely on a weapon, Finger Pistol would be used as a high precision and fast attack to slip past the opponents guard and Eight Impact Fist would be used for attacks that require more force to break through an opponents defences or overcome a clash of fists, feet, weapons or other limbs.
All of those combined together would be very scary but with the addition of Electro… it would be even more so.
However it would take some time for it to fully mature once she had gained some mastery over them all.
Tempest Kick and Paper Art were still purchased at a low mastery so she needed to find someone with a better mastery in those.
Now that she had combined them, a new and stricter training plan had been formed for herself to further push her beyond her limitations but instead of dreading it, she was very excited!
She also saw the potential of having collected this knowledge and knowing how to achieve these powers was her advantage.
After spending a little more time on G-5 and compiling a set of books, she kept them in a place that only those highly trusted by her could have access to and begin learning.
She passed on the Shave, Air Walk and Paper Art 'For Dummies' books she she had completed onto Nica since they suited her style of combat but also she had no compatibility with the others.
As a scientist and shooter, Nica was best suited to avoiding attacks and gaining further distance from her enemies so these would be best suited to her in every way.
She passed on a copy of Shave to Alfred to practice, his talents suggested that he was best suited to other non combat related things but he should have a little compatibility with Shave.
It would also help him to escape a tricky situation if a deal does not go according to plan.
As for the other crew members they had yet to show if they would stick around within the crew for a long time so she could not carelessly pass out such precious techniques even if they are in the form of a small booklet.
If the booklet passed into the hands of others like the World Government then they may come after her head for stealing their techniques and carelessly passing them onto others in this form.
Alyssia had finished everything that had to be done on the island and decided to leave but since she had lost many points she could not just leave like that…
She needed to increase her fame even a little and earn back those points from an extra base or island within the New World.
By doing so the rewards would be great.
She quietly set up a place outside of the G-5 base where the strongest forces were detected and then shouted on the streets along with setting up a sign. "Master martial artist is seeking to challenge strong opponents! Please advise!"
The details were shown on the board stating the conditions and rules of the battles but also the cost and prize for the wagered battles.
Very quickly she attracted a crowd and gained the attention of the marines.
Each of the marines had to be skilled in some way to be able to survive on the other side of the Red Line and then there was Vice Admiral Vergo and Commodore Yarisugi by their side.
Some of the marines in that base should also possess Haki or Sea Prism Cuffs or weapons because they were able capture Carribou a Logia Devil Fruit user.
After many exchanges a man walked out wearing heavy iron boots and a sword on his back, he had an unruly appearance that matched his reputation.
Commodore Yarisugi was someone who had high strength that did not quite match up to his rank which could explain only one thing.
The higher ups do not like his behaviour and how he is like the others within G-5 who do not listen to their superiors so they probably denied him the chance of a promotion and had Vergo come and step in as the base leader and take up the role as a Vice Captain.
Usually Vice Captains are hard to identify for their individual strengths according to how bounties are done but it could be said that some may be around 300 million berries with a couple of exceptions like Smoker, Vergo, Onigumo and Momonga who have a much higher strength that they have displayed.
Right away a confrontation took place between them, she focussed on her kicks and moving quickly to avoid his attacks when he would try to kick her with his heavy and durable boots.
When she avoided, he began to mix sword moves into the fight and it became a lot more serious.
As she evaluated his strength, she couldn't help but be surprised at first since it was indeed higher than his rank but it was only to the level of a Rear Admiral and below that of a Vice Admiral.
He could keep up her movements briefly as they continued to spar but as the fight continued, Alyssia felt more at ease as she applied more strength to her body.
She ducked under a beheading strike with an annoyed look on her face. 'Tch.. using your affiliation and rank to your advantage to kill me. No more fun and games for me then.'
A cold look appeared in her eyes as she counterattacked with a kick to his chin followed by another to his the side of his head knocking him out. 'Well… that has done it. It would be best not to stick around for too long anymore.'
She did not wish to fight Vergo yet no matter how controlled this area may be, he could always try to enforce justice and use the defeat of his subordinates and tarnishing the honour of their branch as an excuse to capture or kill her.
Although she could not be too sure on how he would act, she was not willing to risk it.
She looked at the beaten up Commodore who had tried to kill her many times after losing his temper because she kept matching his strength and able to either avoid his attacks or match them with ease.
His patience ran out and he felt humiliated after being toyed with by a woman so he had lost reason for a while.
Usually he would to the likes of Tashigi in the future because of her beauty like the other G-5 men but against Alyssia who wore her hoody and could not be completely identified, he had gone far past using reason to hold back his impulsive and murderous actions against her.
Alyssia looked towards his subordinates and sighed. "Take him to a medic… He should be fine after waking up. He will probably experience some swelling and pain but that is normal. Well… see ya!"
She picked up the box and ran back to her ship.
She could see the eyes of the people and those of the base becoming a little hostile towards her so she quickly left before things took a turn for the worst
She arrived on the ship once again and greeted her crew while checking that everyone was on board.
She picked up Li and began to stroke her fur. "Set sail immediately! The next destination we will take is just as dangerous as the last so lets move out quickly before we gain some tails following us.."
If Vergo put a bounty on her head for this then she would be unhappy and think it was unfair but at the same time it would not matter so long as there was no accurate picture of her that was taken.
She had been careful and did not notice anyone taking a picture of her and she had her hoody up to better conceal her face so it would be difficult to identify her even if they did put one on her head.
She would simply find it annoying and she would have to come back at some later date to smash Vergo into the ground.
The image crept into her mind of herself kicking Vergo into the ground while smiling menacingly and saying in a creepy voice "Vergo-san" made her chuckle.
In this world, everyone has some sort of backstory that may make the viewer feel sorry for them and understand why they took the path they did, even Doffy can be somewhat understood because of the trauma he had to undergo and the upbringing that had created and shaped him as a child.
Did that mean that she could not develop grudges against them because she had some sympathy for them?
Of course not!
Vergo was a bit of a jerk anyways and the way he makes people address him with San at the end shows that he a person who takes his position as a superior or elder to others far too seriously to the point that it is annoying and there was never really any kind of redemption flashback for him.
His one redeeming quality was his loyalty to Doffy that lasted until his death but that was not really something that Alyssia could look at him in a favourable light.
Why would someone be so loyal to a madman who wants to see the world burn?
Just because he has the qualities of a king?
When Alyssia thought about it she really wanted to smash his head and take a look at what was inside… but for now she fled!
