269 Evolution

At the docking area, there was a piece of land above the water which had started to become fertile as many of the plants and grass had begun to grow and a tree was at the very centre of it.

There was a small house which had been built that looked similar to an ordinary martial arts hall while at the edges of the island, there was several structures which held a protective bubble in place around the island.

Monera and several Fishmen, Merfolk and Sea Creatures were on the island which was just about the size of a small village.

Over the time that Ness has been released, she had continued her growth and the area on her back had increased in size to allow a small village to be put on top of it.

The dirt on its back hardened naturally which formed a natural layer of protection on its back which allowed for a new civilisation to be built upon it, many layers of soil were added on top of it while seeds were planted into the ground.

Slowly the island was beginning to become more habitable as other parts of the island were being altered to allow for small fresh water sources and other things.

Nice arrived on the island and saw the sight of Yvie, Ting, Tong and many of the others interested in plant life. "Truly amazing, to think that this place has been transformed like this in such a short time."

Monera stepped forward. "It should now be possible to be maintained underwater too thanks to the work we have done together. It should really be called an underwater or moving island more than anything."

Nica smiled. "So this is what Alyssia has been so excited about recently.. no wonder she had been excitedly waiting for the growth of Ness but we will have to ask all of you to evacuate the island for the next stage."

Monera nodded. "Very well. We will all move to the Sunken Castle as scheduled."

As everyone had evacuated the island, the large head, tail and the lower body of Ness was underneath the water as she swam away from the island into deeper water.

Around its body there was Alyssia, Nica, Tristan, Carrot and Clifford who had encircled its body while Archie and Medea stood on two different sides as their bodies had activated the Electro and Rumble powers as they started charging up their power.

Underneath the water, Alyssia gave a signal to everyone as they started releasing their Electro in their surroundings as it spread out in the water around Ness but Alyssia remained close to the head of Ness with a large syringe full of a green serum, she patted the head of the large sea beast and opened the eyelid and injected it into the weakest and softest part of the eye which is where the mucus membrane is exposed.

Due to the huge defences of Ness, injecting such a serum was always difficult to do but Alyssia had found a weak point which allowed it to happen and when the environmental factors were put in place.

Just as it was all injected into Ness, the surrounding water around Ness had become electrified and She started to writhe around in agony as the Electro and Rumble powers affected her body and she started to undergo a huge change brought on by the SIQ Serum that had been made specially for her.

Those on the back of Ness inserted several rods into the water connected to electrical generators to allow for the Minks to take some breaks and regain their energy during the whole process.

After a long time had passed, the changes stopped happening to Ness who had grown in size once again and had adapted to the environment created which allowed her to build up an very high immunity to electrical attacks.

Many changes can take place to the surrounding water ranging from it heating up, icing over or becoming electrified depending on the environment or being changed by someones powers.

After evolving, Ness had built up enough resistance to electricity to resist such attacks underwater and allow for electrical based structures to be build on top of her body.

Even in the case of an accident with the electrical supply on top of her body, Ness would remain unharmed which would allow for the island to be rebuilt once again should it be damaged or destroyed while the back of her had released another layer of dirt from her body which hardened to allow for the area on her back to be expanded and adjust to the changes of her body so that every part of it would remain in place.

The outer layer of the dirt had formed on the outer parts of the island as she grew in size underneath what was already there so the later above it formed a very small slope as it got closer to the centre of the island which was fixed in place and became slightly higher up during each growth stage or small change with her size as she grew.

After Ness had completed her evolution, many other sea creatures underwent the same evolution while others were placed in a very warm environment to help boost their heat resistances and build up their overall fighting capabilities.

Upon returning to Baldimore with some other sea creatures, Alyssia injected the SIQ Serum into each of them which helped many of them gain cold resistance.

Each of them had grown in size and overall fighting capabilities while one of the Kungfu Dugong which had unlocked its Haki had grown in size and been one of the creatures that was lucky enough to acquire an ability which was to freeze the surrounding water or release cold attacks from its body like coating its fist in a layer of ice.
