This is a great book with a balanced MC in a very interesting world. The writing quality is superb and everything flows so smoothly. It's actually hard to think that this is the author's first book. I reccommend this book even through it hasn't progressed so far story-wise, I still really like this.
So I just finished about 10 chapters in and this is my initial review so I might update this review later. Ok so let us get right to it, this is the first novel for this writer yet their is very little to no grammar issues that I have seen. The plot is moving relatively well with nothing too rushed or taking too much time. The world building is pretty well done. And many stereotypical situations don't happen so it's quite refreshing. Also, the light tone for now is also a breath of fresh air. I'm getting really tired of those edgy and dark novels that are nothing but a sad power fantasy of an antisocial person. Don't get me wrong, I like a story with changes in tone but it can't be all sad and depressing ALL THE TIME. A deep story does have to be say, and in actuality "sad/tragic" stories are the easiest and the cowardly way out to writing what appears to be "deep" rather than build natural human bonds where characters grow and progress laugh and face hardships together win some times and loss many more.
This book is really promising. It’s a shame we don’t get as much releases as compared to other books as I think this book has what it takes to develop into something high up in power rankings. The protagonist is a growing kid still building his ties with characters in the world. His and the world’s foreseeable path is worth the attention.
I just now bingle read the story and I am glad that I found it. It has been some time sience I enyoyed the setting and the story this much. And although grammar and editing could use some work I belive it has the potential for greatnes. Like Star magus or Paragon of Destruction among fantasy ones. Well worth a read.
I like this story, where its heading so far with the growth and development of the MC, his family members so far as well as the flow of the story. However, I have to ding this story on the lack of regular updates and on occasion the grammar missteps. Looking forward to more chapters and reading more of the story. This story will be in my library for now.
a good well-written story, with good pacing. it moves forward without trying to explain everything in detail, makng it feel like a story worth reading, instead of being full of filler material. Sometimes the story makes light of interpersonal connections, (like how his grandfather feels towards him after living together for a year, or the enchanter figure. how was his first impressions of the boy?) howerver i cannot deduct anything as i like the style and pacing to much.
