32 Could it be the Hans or the Sins?

During the chaotic night at the hospital, Alfred, Michael and Bryan encountered a different definition of tribulation on their end. After picking up Bryan, Alfred went full speed to meet up with Michael.

The photographer was scared wits out of his pants when he saw two muscular men raging out of the vehicle and racing towards him. Not only did it take one easy turn for Alfred to park his car; the murderous glares on their faces were difficult to avoid.

"Is he the witness?" Bryan's eagerness nearly exploded the moment his eyes laid on the skinny man next to Michael.

Michael answered, "Yes. Here are the pictures he took."

Immediately, Michael began going through the pictures with Alfred and Bryan. Meanwhile, the photographer was ready to pull out a white flag and surrender to the trio. He was so close to leaving his camera with them and running away.

After confirming Selina's figure in the slow-motion pictures, Bryan lifted the man off his feet. His already wrinkled collar crumbled like a piece of paper once Bryan's strong fists held it tight in his grasp.

"What did you see that day? Who was the man who took away the girl?!" He loudly asked for an answer. Like a lion's roar to one's ears, the photographer felt light headed from his interrogating tone.

"I'll tell you everything. Let me go!" He swung his legs on air and felt helpless for the second time.

Releasing him in the following second, Bryan gave the man a few seconds to catch his breath and clear the dry air in his throat. "Speak."

The photographer didn't dare delay any longer. "I was taking pictures a little over a month ago. I happened to snap pictures of the girl jumping off the bridge. Minutes or so later, life guards and a man with fancy attire came back on shore. I saw the soaked girl wrapped up in the guy's arms. I couldn't get his face, but I heard him say he wants the information about the girl remain a secret."

"Then why didn't you come out and tell me? She could be anywhere by now! If you told me earlier, I might have been able to locate her! Arghh!!! All along..she was alive! She must be alive somewhere waiting for us! " Bryan scolded the man with an urgent tone.

Alfred blocked him from approaching the photographer as a more important matter is waiting for him to settle. "Let's take the memory card from his camera and let him off. Take down his contact information even though we will probably not need it in the future. We need to figure out who has the highest possibilities and benefits for kidnapping her."

Michael patted Bryan's shoulder before proceeding with Alfred's suggestion. Studying the pictures again, Alfred started listing possible enemies who would gain from taking Selina away. Spreading one finger after another, Bryan began listing names.

After a few rounds of choices of elimination, the trio came down to a few choices. "Peter Sin, Shirley Han, and their parents." Bryan muttered to them.

"Shirley has always loved Peter and even moved in with him. It wouldn't be hard to believe she initiated the kidnap. At the same time, Peter could have done this to make her get back into a relationship with him. Shirley's parents always doted on Shirley. They could have paid anyone to do it."

"And Peter's parents have been asking around for financial help. In recent years, their company hasn't been operating smoothly. With the stack of debt collectors after their heads, they could use Selina as their target. Knowing how close she was to you; they could use her as hostage." Alfred explained everyone's motive.

"So, how will we figure this out? If information has been closed down by any of them, then only they could expose their tails. We need to find a way to make them talk." Michael said as he rubbed his chin.

Alfred clapped his hands together loudly, "I remember receiving an invite for a party tomorrow night. I heard Shirley Han and her parents were invited to attend too. According to my friend, Peter will also be joining. I'm not sure about the rest of his family, though."

"Then, let's pay our old buddies a nice greeting tomorrow night." Bryan cracked his knuckles while Alfred cracked his neck. They've been waiting to meet their sworn enemies and now, it's time to greet them.

Michael chuckled, "I also heard some birdies sharing news about the ruler of the underworld attending tomorrow night's party. What do you think? Bryan?"

"Me? Hah, I don't ever recall attending any events. Interesting. Then, I will have to scan every face at the event tomorrow night and see which bird's mouth started this." Bryan answered with a placid smile on his face.

After coming to a temporarily satisfied conclusion, the trio went their separate ways and agreed on meeting for the party. That night, nobody was able to fall asleep as their minds fixated on Selina's whereabouts. Was she alive? Was she healthy? Was she injured? Too many questions, yet little to no answers.

- Hospital -

As the sun brightened rays onto the two youths' face, Selina's eyelashes fluttered rapidly. Waking up to nothing but a human pillow, she joyfully wrapped her arms around him. She thought she was dreaming, but his physical body tells more than thousands of books combined.

Jason opened his eyes and decided to close them. He didn't want Selina to wake up this early so he didn't move even a centimeter. Noticing the bright sunlight shining onto her face, he raised his palm and blocked it from her eyes. Literally, he would not allow any kinds of disturbances when it comes to her rest.

Suddenly, a few knocks came from the other side of the door. Checking the time on his phone, he realized it was 6:30 A.M. He decided not to answer since his lips were too close to her ears. If he says a single word, she might get startled awake.

On the other hand, the clueless assistant, Aaron thought that Jason might still be asleep. To prevent unnecessary sounds from sliding the door open, he sneakily entered the room. When he turned around to report updates and see if his boss was awake yet; he found it empty!

Searching around the room, his eyes landed on the other bed where two figures were comfortably cuddling. He gaped in disbelief at what he was seeing. 'Did they sleep together? Just what stage are they at already? Didn't they say they would start from zero? What's this lightning progress?'
