Chapter 4 : The One She Wanted

The futsal match ended with Class C emerging victorious in a nail-biting showdown. Qilin sat on the floor, sweat dripping down his face, when he sensed someone approaching. It was Andrea. With a nonchalant expression, she opened a bottle, closed it again, and tossed it to him. He caught it effortlessly.

"A bribe. So you won't forget our appointment," Andrea said, her expression unchanged.

"Well... Can I at least shower first?" Qilin frowned as he looked at the orange juice. He didn't particularly like sweet drinks, but he took it and drank it nonetheless. It tasted slightly bitter. He never had this kind of drink, so he wouldn't know that the taste wasn't supposed to be like that.

The others were intrigued by the dynamics of their relationship. With rumors of the breakup circulating, speculation ran rampant among the group. Yet, Andrea's demeanor set her apart from the typical admirers of Qilin. She remained composed, engaging with him as one would with a friend, rather than displaying the usual infatuation.

"Maybe... She wants you to be a bridge for them?" Legi wondered aloud.

"I don't think so. She seemed like she was already over Timothy. Hah... girls can be scarily cold," Ricky, another teammate, chuckled as he watched Andrea walk away.

"You guys... stop gossiping around," Qilin replied, shaking his head. He got up and made his way to the swimming pool area to borrow the shower.

Legi approached the recently broken-up Timothy, who sat quietly on the bench.

Legi: "What do you think?"

Timothy side-eyed him. "I think you're just bored."

Legi: "I am curious. Aren't you? Well..., it's your ex..."

Timothy: "That's why it's called EX. It's none of my business."

Meanwhile, as Qilin took a shower, he found himself lost in thought, pondering Legi's words. Was there some truth to them? What should he do? How could he convey to Andrea that Timothy may not have been the right person for her? She was free to like anyone, yet she seemed fixated on Timothy. With a heavy sigh, Qilin realized the complexity of the situation.

After drying his hair and changing his clothes, Qilin prepared himself to meet Andrea.

She had specifically requested their meeting take place in the training hall, leveraging her past role as captain to easily obtain the key. Typically deserted during the day, the hall buzzed with activity during early morning and late evening training sessions.

For Qilin, stepping into the training hall was like entering a new realm. He had never ventured into the world of self-defense or similar activities, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the meeting location.

As Qilin entered the training hall, he noticed Andrea was already there, appearing busy.

"Andrea?" he called out from the doorway.

"Lock the door... I don't want anyone to see us," Andrea instructed, her attention focused on something in the room.

Qilin complied, locking the door without raising suspicion. He watched as Andrea arranged the floor mattresses, her movements indicating familiarity with the space as she placed things exactly where they belonged.

Qilin stood there awkwardly, unsure of what to do next.

"So, what do you want to talk about?" he asked, attempting to break the silence.

He didn't see it coming. Without warning, Andrea rushed forward and shoulder-threw him, catching him completely off guard. Pain surged through Qilin's body, and he winced, feeling as though something had broken.

"What was that for?! You...," Qilin's voice trailed off as he struggled to comprehend Andrea's unexpected aggression. Before he could gather his thoughts, Andrea swiftly mounted him, pinning him to the ground.

"Just... Revenge, maybe? You see..., I broke up with my boyfriend," Andrea explained bitterly, her words dripping with resentment.

"I heard. Can... can you let me go first?" Qilin's discomfort was palpable as he attempted to maneuver beneath Andrea's weight.

"I was dumped... Because of you," Andrea's intense gaze bore into him, leaving him speechless and uneasy.

"First... Calm down. You need to calm down," Qilin attempted to reason with her, his voice tinged with urgency.

But Andrea paid no heed to his words. Instead, she silenced him with a kiss, cutting off any further attempts at communication. Qilin shuddered as her tongue invaded his mouth, leaving him feeling suffocated. When she finally released him, allowing him to catch his breath, her mouth trailed down to his neck, her tongue licking at his Adam's apple.

Qilin reacted instinctively, grabbing Andrea's shoulders and pushing her away. They tumbled, and now Qilin found himself on top of her, pinning her down. As he looked into Andrea's eyes, he could see the anger burning within them. Andrea moved, trying to change their position again.

"Stop moving! Just stop... Please!" Qilin pleaded, frustration evident in his voice as he felt his body react to every little movement she made.

As Andrea disregarded his plea, her hands continued to move, deftly unbuttoning her own shirt. Qilin could feel himself trembling with both fear and uncertainty. The situation was escalating rapidly, causing him to feel as though he were losing his grip on reality.

"I am just a normal man, don't challenge me!" Qilin exclaimed, his voice trembling.

Andrea let out a laugh, her fingers tracing the side of his neck. "A pimple! You're really normal it seems," she remarked, a mocking tone lacing her words.

Andrea proceeded to unbutton his shirt as well, then guiding him cupped her breast.

"Just up to here. I don't know what to do next," she confessed softly.

She then kissed the corner of his mouth tenderly, sending a shiver down Qilin's spine. His breaths quickened, and his other hand instinctively hooked on her neck as they leaned in to kiss each other.

Qilin felt a wave of heat wash over him, blanketing his senses as he surrendered to the intensity of their connection. He must reject her. He should. But... He just couldn't. He didn't want to reject her.

Hot!

It felt scorching hot!

Every of his clumsy touches, every of his eager kissess, even his trembling and conflicting gazes, he gave her a dream-like sensation she never tasted before. Might be because she drank the medicine too. She didn't even mind the pain. She desperately held this dream, so she wouldn't have to come back to reality.

Some time in the middle, Andrea momentarily lost herself in the moment, forgetting her animosity towards Qilin. But still she remembered, the one she wanted was not him.
