Chapter 8: Human Versus Honey Badger and Owl

While Rambo was getting captured by this greedy human his friends Fuzzy The Honey Badger and Ajax the Owl spotted him. Ajax was the first one of the two who spotted Rambo since he was flying and was looking from the top when he noticed Rambo struggling to be freed from the clutches of the Human he immediately informed Fuzzy about it.

Ajax came down from the top and said to Fuzzy: "Look there is Rambo this Human is taking him away. What do we do now?"

Fuzzy said: "It seems the worst had come to pass. We have finally encountered a Human the thing that all of us wanted to avoid. Now if we let Rambo be caught by this human while playing Hide and Seek our elders would just kill us. We should go and try to rescue him."

Ajax said: " I think we should go back and first inform the elders and bring more help because now that the human had already captured Rambo we may not be of any use to fight with that Human."

Fuzzy said: "No by the time we go back and bring the elders of the jungle Rambo will already be taken away by that human. We have to do something now."

They were in a fix at this point as they saw this human take Rambo away but were not able to decide if they should first head back to inform others or charge ahead to attack the human and help Rambo escape the clutches of the human.

Eventually, they decided to attack and help their friend who was in despair and struggling in the claws of that human.

On the other side, Albert was delighted due to his catch today since he had secured a wild animal that belonged to a Lion breed, and that was a kid that he could pass on to his senior officers in the East India Company for them to make it his pet because it was easier to make a pet out of a kid animal than an adult at that time he may have to pass it to the zoo.

Particularly General Walters was one who fancied a lion as his pet so Albert who knew about this and was a subordinate of General Walters in East India Company was always trying his ways and means to please his higher official only to get some of his interest to be realized such as getting a promotion, raise in the pay grade or returning to his home country England.

Albert Thought: "I am in luck today since I have got this lion cub. Look at this little creature and how it is struggling despite being so young. This little cute thing is full of life and energy."

While he was taking the lion cub away an owl came from the back and started to attack him all over his body vigorously. The owl pecked on his head, shoulders, neck but he could only try to dodge them since he was on the ground but the bird was actually flying on air so it had quite a lot of space maneuver itself according to the situation but Albert did not have that liberty to escape from such frequent attack from a bird which was quite unexpected and he almost dropped Rambo due to this struggle.

While Albert was on a one on one battle with this bird he felt something bite him on his calf at the back of his legs as he felt a searing pain on his calf. When he looked down he saw a wild Honey Badger which was clung at his legs. Then to his dismay the animal had a bite and took a chunk of his flesh from his calm and to his horror he could see blood dripping from his wounds and he had to let go of the Lion kid in his hands.

Albert was a English man and quite young at that so he had a lot of ambition. He had heard how these stupid Indian kings fought among themselves due to the divide and rule policy of the British East India Company. And how the East India Company had first come to India showing the intention that they have just come here only for trade but later how they stabbed Indians at the back when they started to invade India when the naive and simple minded Indians had trusted the Britishers totally with full heart and soul.

Now the situation was totally under the control of Britishers. They were the lords of the land and what ever they want they will get here and the Indians who were once considered the wealthiest beings in the whole world had now become poor since most of their wealth had been drained from India to the United Kingdom which not only consisted of the most of the valuable treasures but also a lot of blood of the Indians. After almost a hundred years of constant loot and torture of the innocent Indians the Britishers and drained a wealth of around forty five trillion dollars still they were not satisfied since now after making the wealthy Indians poor they wanted these poor Indians to do slavery for them.

Albert thought that he could live a life of a king when he came to India since he considered these lowly Indians to be beneath him as the British East India Company was the ruler of the land. So be it any of his desires which he wanted to fulfill he could do it here. But when he came here he only found himself to be working under another British General who was Mr. Walters who was a very highly ranked officers and everyone in the company used to curry favor from him.

He also had the same thinking and wanted to curry favor with General Walters and climb the ladder of success by gifting him a lion cub but now it seemed that the thing which he wanted to do was not going to be a success which greatly irritated him.

He immediately took out his revolver and shot two to three rounds on the pair of Owl and the Honey Badger. The Honey Badger was fast as lighting so it dodged the bullets but the Owl was hit and fell on the ground with blood all over it.

Rambo was now freed so he was escaping but seeing his dear friend Ajax getting hit by the bullet he came running towards him as he shouted: "Ajax! No you are shot."

Ajax said: "No just leave me here you try to run away now. This is your chance. I am hurt a bit but this will not kill me."

Fuzzy sensing the situation said: "No what happened to you Ajax. Rambo do not stop you just run."

But by the time they were arguing among themselves Albert had already caught up to them and then captured Rambo and fired a few more bullets which forced the Owl and Honey Badger to back away and run.
