Chapter 17: Jungle Emperor

Lakshmi remembered the messiah of the Jungle and saw some hope because now she did not have anything to rely upon. Her husband and the only child was captured by the monster's called humans and if she did not do anything soon then she will have to become Mambo's mate which she absolutely did not want however if she has to live in this pack of lion then she will have to mate with Mambo or else she have to leave the pack and join some other lion packs.

If she does that then again she will have to mate with the Alpha lion of that particular pack and without joining a pack she will not be able to live because most of the times lions hunt in groups and they share food so if she is not in any particular pack then she will go hungry and eventually die.

The only option left for her was to go to the Jungle deity who was the messiah of the Jungle. She had heard countless stories of this messiah from her elders about this Mysterious messiah of the Jungle but had never seen him personally. 

Now that the elder lion had mentioned about him she remembered about this Jungle Deity. Though she or any of the other Jungle lions had not seen this Deity in recent times however they had heard that about a few hundred years ago the Jungle Deity had appeared and had saved them from a calamity which was very similar to the recent times.

There were foreign humans who had invaded India and came and settled here at that point they started massacre of the local humans. Also they liked to hunt wild animals like the recent times. At that point of time the Jungle Emperor had appeared and saved the Jungle and also helped the local humans to survive. 

However once everything was quite normal and the local human kings started to win the war he went back to the jungle for a retreat to cultivation of energy.

It has been said that the age of the Jungle emperor is more than ten thousand years old and he has seen many wars and had been present at the time of many great Indian Kings.

It is said that he is in a form of a Lion however he can shapeshift and can take the shape and size of different animals including humans and that was how he participated and helped the humans in their war.

Lakshmi asked the elder lion: "Elder I have never seen the Jungle deity and do not know how to go to him."

Elder Lioness answered: "I know but do not worry I will tell you how to go to him."

Lakshmi had heard a lot of stories about the Jungle Emperor however never seen anyone going to pray to him not only Lakshmi even the elder lioness had never seen anyone going to the Jungle Emperor. 

Since the Jungle Emperor had last appeared almost about a few hundred years ago and an average age of a lion in the jungle is only 15 to 16 and in captivity it is about 29 to 30 years old so obviously when the last time Jungle emperor appeared after that almost five to six generations of the Jungle animals had already passed so the elder lioness had not seen anyone going to the Jungle Emperor however the elder lioness had heard and known how to summon and pray to the Jungle deity since it has been passed down from one generation to another generation of different jungle species on how to summon the Jungle deity so from time to time not only the lions but every other species which were present in this Jungle had went to the Jungle emperor in times when they were desperate and Jungle deity had answered there call.

The Elder Lioness answered: "In order to find the Jungle deity you have to go to the Girnar mountain range and say his poem to awaken him then he will answer your call. You know the poem right."

Lakshmi said: "Of course I know. I have been listening to it since I was a child and even I have sang this poem so many times to Rambo to make him sleep since he always want to listen to it before going to sleep."

But once she remembered about Rambo Lakshmi got upset that her child and baby were missing.

Being the experienced the Elder Lioness understood her situation and further said: "Good that you remember that poem and stop worrying now since you have decided to write your own fate and soon you will get back your family. Now listen to me carefully. The Girnar mountain range is a sacred pilgrimage site for the humans and is considered to be older than the Himalayas Girnar is a sacred mountain range that is considered to be the Nirvana bhumi. It is also significant among Shiva devotees for the mystic space and time of the mountain range. The Girnar mountain range has five peaks and is covered with many temples. You have to go there avoiding any of humans because you may encounter them and then do as I have said."

So the next morning Lakshmi went on her Journey to the Girnar mountain range to awaken the Jungle Emperor and had many questions in her mind. Whether this messiah will help her or he will be angry because she had awakened him from his cultivation. 

If ever she will have the privilege to see her husband and her child Rambo in this life since she cannot live without them. After a few days of travel she finally came to her destination and reached the appropriate place which was a cave in the mountain where the Jungle Emperor was rumored to be cultivating.

However when she arrived she did not find any cave and it seemed that the cave has been blocked with a huge rock by someone. She did not know where to go now or what to do because all her worries came back and all the hope which she had was lost at this moment. She wondered if her fate was already written which was to be doomed forever including her family but then she remembered the advice of the elder Lioness that the Jungle Deity has done many miracles in the past so she gained hope and decided to do her best to summon the Jungle deity.

She just came near the cave in the mountain which was covered by the big rock and decided to sing the poem which had been sang throughout her and her ancestors generations.

She steadied herself and calmed her emotions and then started to sing the poem.

The Jungle Emperor

You are the Jungle Emperor

Whenever there is a calamity and all the jungle species are at the brink of death you save us.

You are the Jungle Emperor

You are the one who Nurture all the Jungle species in this Jungle.

You are the Jungle Emperor

You are the answer to all the problems which are beyond us.

You are the Jungle Emperor

You are the Higher being who has lived for thousands of years.

You are the Jungle Emperor.

You save us when we are in danger and is the Father of the Jungle.

You are the Jungle Emperor.

You are the Anger for those who had repeatedly tried to destroy the Jungle and its species.

You are the Jungle Emperor.

You are the stronger Being who has defeated all the enemies of the Jungle time and time again.

You are the Jungle Emperor.

You are the Thunder of our Jungle Species to those who had ill intentions towards the Jungle.

You are the Jungle Emperor.

You are the Greater power who destroys evil and has even helped the humans win their war against the evil forces.

You are the Jungle Emperor.

You are the one who has been the shield to us from all the dangers of the world and our children can be carefree and play with fun and Laughter.

You are the Jungle Emperor.
