Chapter 10: The Heart broken Mother Lion

Fuzzy was in a predicament since he really wanted to save Rambo but now he could only return back otherwise he was risking his life and Ajax's life and no one is going to be benefitted by it so finally he decided to return.

Fuzzy the Honey Badger had Ajax holding in his jaw so he could not speak anything but he gave a reassuring look towards Rambo and thought in his mind: "Rambo Just hang in there and do not worry. I will return with others and free you." 

After that the Honey Badger did not look back and just run away in a zigzag manner due to which Albert the East India Company officer could not shoot him even though he had fired quite a few rounds of bullets.

Albert was very displeased due to this sudden attack by this duo of the Owl and the Honey Badger since he had been injured quiet seriously on his calf muscles which was bleeding like anything. He could not understand why in the whole world he was attacked by a duo of Honey Badger and an Owl and they worked together so well completely in sync as if they had practiced it for so long.

Albert thought: "Why was I got attacked by this pair of Honey Badger and an Owl completely two different species and which looked like they had come to save this lion cub. But why would a Honey Badger and an Owl come to save a Lion cub. After all these are all enemy species and Lion can eat these species if they want. Also clearly this lion cub was running away when I dropped it but when that Owl got shot this one came back as if to protect it."

Albert was all puzzled due to the unexpected behavior of these wild species but he did not have the time to think much about all these since he was severely injured on his legs calf muscle after the Honey Badger had bitten out a chunk of flesh from his legs. 

Albert was always in this East India Company officer uniform most of the time so he was in big boots but still the teeth's of the Honey Badger were so sharp and strong that he took a bite of flesh from over his clothes and big boot which covered his calf muscles.

He took out a small steel cage from his back pack which he had kept with himself of this kind of situation and then filled the lion cub into it though it was quite a tight fix for Rambo but the cage did fit him in the end.

When he made sure that Rambo could not escape. Then he tended to his wounds which was in a serious state since if he loses too much blood then that could cause him some serious problem. He had the medical kit in his back pack so he applied all the necessary things on his wounds and then bandaged it properly so that he can walk back to his camp which was nearby.

He could not see the Honey Badger and the Owl anymore but he had a bad feeling about this so he decided not to wait any longer and return to the camp as soon as possible.

On the other side Fuzzy the Honey Badger was running and returning towards the inner circle of the Jungle in a lightening like speed after all if Rambo will be rescued or not depended up on how was he will return and inform other and how quick the grown ups will take action to rescue Rambo from the clutches of the Human being.

In a few hours he returned to the inner circle and met his other friends Mutt the Hyena, Makucha the Leopard, Jax the Jungle Cat, Mackel the Golden Jackal and Neo the Indian Grey Mongoose.

They all saw how injured Ajax was and how fuzzy was carrying him in his jaw and could not find Rambo so they felt that the situation was not quite right as they questioned.

Makucha the Leopard questioned: "What happened to Ajax? and did you also not able to get any clues about Rambo?"

Ajax had already fainted by now since he was quite injured and had quite a lot of blood loss which seemed to be too much for the little bird so fuzzy put him down and explained the situation to his friends in short.

Fuzzy said: "The worst thing has come to pass. Rambo has been captured by the Humans."

All his friends exclaimed in unison: "What!!"

Fuzzy said: "We had gone till the river there we saw Rambo being captured by this one Human. Since there was only one of them we decided to attack him and rescue Rambo however the Human had some weapon on him which throws small stones from it. And Ajax is actually hurt by those stones."

Neo the Indian Gray Mongoose said: "The condition of Ajax doesn't seem good he needs immediate treatment."

Fuzzy replied in short: "Yes Ajax needs treatment also we need to return to the clearing and inform the grown ups so that they can rescue Rambo quickly. Because the human must not have returned to the Human city by now. He may have setup a camp in the Jungle where he is residing. If we are able to return with help before he returns to the Human city then we have a chance to rescue Rambo. But once he returns to the city then probably Rambo will be taken to a zoo to be kept in captivity at that time we will not have any chance to rescue him."

After that all his friends Mutt the Hyena, Makucha the Leopard, Jax the Jungle Cat, Mackel the Golden Jackal and Neo the Indian Grey Mongoose returned to the clearing to inform the Grown ups about the situation.

Ajax was being carried on by his friends since he was unconscious.

When they came to the clearing it was already evening and the sun was setting down as they saw that the meeting among the various Jungle species were still going on so they directly went to the parents of Rambo who were busy in conversation with a Deer and a Giraffe.

At that time the elder Giraffe noticed that the Owl was unconscious and in injured state as he questioned: "What happened to you friend Ajax? Why he is so severely injured and unconscious?"

Facing the question these children did not know how to answer since they had done the thing which they had been prohibited from which was to go out of the clearing and also towards the river.

Which has cost them their friend Rambo now they were in a fix and did not know how to inform about this.

Fuzzy the Honey Badger took all his courage to say this: "Actually we were playing Hide and Seek and in the process Rambo had gone up to the river. Then he had been captured by a human. We had tried to rescue him but then Ajax was injured while saving him. Then we had to return. Please save Rambo, The human must not have taken Rambo far and they must have reached in their camp only."

After learning that her son had been taken away by a Human Lakshmi the Mother Lion was Heart broken and could not utter a single word as she did not know what to do since Rambo was her only son. She did not want to miss her son.

Lakshmi said: "Ohh Rambo!" and then she fainted then and there due to extreme mental stress.
