Jujutsu Kaisen: Exception

Shuichi, a normal man gets reincarnated to the world of Jujutsu Kaisen as a boy from the Zenin clan, except he gets thrown out of the clan as soon as he gets transmigrated. Unfortunate right? Well, lucky for him, he has a system to help him survive! How will a man with a system at hand change the world of jujutsu kaisen, and more importantly, those around him? . . . . JJK does not belong to me, I only own the oc. Some changes might be there, seeing as its a fanfic. The cover art is mine.

Shuichi looked at the number of men, all draped in almost identical black suits, sprawled all over the ground. Their bruised and battered figures spoke wonders about the kind of beating they should have been given.

Most of them remained motionless, seemingly unconscious; while the others whimpered and groaned, holding their bodies all over, trying to alleviate the pain of broken bones.

"Th-this… this isn't possible! What the hell are you!?" And from the otherwise silent warehouse, a whimpering voice boomed out. It was the voice of the leader of this gang, Boss Ryouta.

"Hoh? You didn't run away?" Shuichi asked, genuinely curious about the reasoning capability of this chubby man. Logically speaking, seeing him dodge bullets and break all the bones of his men should be enough of a wakeup call right? Or was that just him and his normal way of thinking?

Was common sense so scarce in this new world?

"y-you!" boss Ryouta said, not being able to utter another word.

He was not having a good day today, honest. When he ordered his men to bring that young man to the warehouse, he did not think even for a second that the situation would get out of hand so soon.

At first, he was as confident as he could be. The shop owner named Shuichi was surrounded by his men all armed to the teeth with firearms. He even gave the young man a final chance to join him and not waste his talent. Yet he had mocked him and even had the courage to make a fool of him.

At that point, he knew for sure that the man was now nothing but dead meat. At least that was what he had expected…

The next sequence of events that transpired left him so utterly baffled that he wasn't even able to think properly, not to mention plan his escape. The man, who had been entirely at his mercy in his eyes, completely overwhelmed the might of all his men combined. The bullets that were thrown at him were all dodged. And even the ones that managed to hit him did nothing but bounce off, as if an invisible wall was protecting him.

One by one, more than fifty gang members all armed with various weapons and guns were dispatched in the short time of 5 minutes. Once a person was hit with his fist, they did not dare get up again. Perhaps they passed out or the strength and pain was simply too overwhelming. That, however, did not matter at this moment.

What mattered was, being too entranced and shocked, downright baffled at the spectacle before him he had actually forgotten to escape!

'How could I make such a blunder? What am I, an amateur?!' Boss Ryouta thought while looking at the terrifying figure of Shuichi. 'No, never mind that thought right now. I need to deal with the situation at hand.'

Shuichi looked at the whimpering figure of the chubby man.

"In any case, you being here makes things way easier." He said. Looking around the warehouse, he spotted a chair. Then using a rope made of cursed energy he pulled the chair towards him; which invited a yelp from the boss.

Grabbing the small wooden chair and placing it right before the boss, Shuichi sat upon it.

"I shall make you an offer you can't refuse." Shuichi said, putting the tips of his fingers together while placing his elbows on his legs.

"An… offer?" Boss Ryouta asked. It was now that he saw some hope in the situation. All things considered, he had thought that he would be killed. He did threaten to kill the young man after all. Ryouta wasn't stupid. He knew that even the name of the big Yakuza families wouldn't be able to deter the young man. He was able to survive an onslaught of bullets and even win for god's sake. Why would he care about going against the Yakuza with such superhuman abilities?

But it seemed that all hope wasn't lost.

"That's right. I have an offer to make. Would you like to hear it?" Shuichi said with a well mannered smile. Yet, to Ryouta it seemed like the smile of a devil that was here for his soul.

'Do you dare to refuse?' That was what the smile meant to him.

Forcing out the calmest smile he could muster despite the intense feeling of powerlessness and fear that gripped him to the bone, he spoke.

"Y-yes, of course! I would be glad to strike a deal with you!" He yelled hurriedly.

"Wonderful… then-" Shuichi said as another chair was flung across the warehouse and put right beside Ryouta. "Please sit. A deal is supposed to be made on equal terms; I would feel bad if I continued to sit while you were on the ground." Shuichi spoke.

With some hesitation on his part, Ryouta took the seat. On the outside, he kept the calm façade with a smile, yet on the inside, he felt deeply resentful.

'Equal terms my ass! How can I possibly consider myself to be in an equal position as you when I've seen all of those preternatural powers!' Ryouta yelled in his mind.

Meanwhile, Shuichi's thought process was going like this.

'I'm such a considerate person. I even offered him a seat after he threatened to kill me. That should make a somewhat favorable impression of me in his mind right?'

"So… what type of deal do you wish to make?" Ryouta asked.

"Oh right. It's simple really." He replied, crossing his arms and leaning back into his chair. "You see, I happen to be in a bit of a money problem; and lucky for you, your men came knocking on my door at the perfect time.

"So, here's the preposition. You will provide me with my 'normal' living expenses and extra money on top of that and in return, I shall help you take care of things that are out of your… field of expertise."

Hearing Shuichi's offer, Ryouta's eyes twitched.

'Isn't… isn't this guy just scamming me?' He thought.

'Normal' living expenses? Why are you putting so much focus on 'normal'? Don't you basically want us to pay for whatever it is that you want? And you also want money on top of that?

Also, what the hell do you even mean by things out of our field of expertise?!

While Ryouta could yell all he wanted in his mind, he did not dare voice out his thoughts.

'It doesn't seem like there's a way out of this. Even if I report this to the higher ups, I doubt it's going to matter much.' Ryouta took another glance at Shuichi's smiling face. 'How could such a being even exist..? Bullets didn't even scratch him…'

Thinking for any possible solutions out of this, Ryouta found none. Even if he were to call all the forces of the entire family on him, he probably would come out victorious.

'I might as well try to get as many benefits as possible.'

"Ahem* If I may ask, what do you mean by things that are out of our field of expertise?"

"Oh that?" Shuichi said. Then his eyes flashed with a hint of mischief.

"Well, shouldn't you already have an idea?" He said while snapping his fingers. And just like that, the chair on which Ryouta was sitting started to float into the air.

"Wha-what is this?!" He yelled. Shuichi had just created poles out of cursed energy under the chair and extended them to give an illusion that the chair was floating. Nonetheless, it had worked.

"This is what I meant by things out of your field of expertise. It's the thing that I happen to be a specialist in…" Shuichi said as the chair continued to rise up into the air, stopping just before Ryouta could touch the ceiling.

"Sorcery…" Shuichi whispered, his words somehow resonating across the entire warehouse.

It was at this moment that Ryouta realized, either he had stumbled upon a once in a lifetime opportunity, or he had come in contact with very troublesome forces beyond the comprehension of the human mind.

Ryouta could not speak. Up on the chair that rested silently in the air, he too looked at Shuichi in as bafflement as much as silence.

In another part of the giant city of Tokyo, a gigantic complex stood strong. It was a collection of hundreds of traditional style Japanese houses and storehouses, all connected in an intricate pattern of arrangements of roads. The roofs of all the houses were the same dark black color, while the halls and the outer structural changes, although not many were rather easy to spot.

All in all, the entire complex looked to be extremely organized and pleasing to the eye. It was as if the old Japanese traditions had come alive again.

This complex of Japanese builds was the famous school of Jujutsu, Tokyo Jujutsu High. While it functioned as a school, where normal classes and combat training was conducted, it also served as a sort of headquarters for the jujutsu sorcerers; a place for them to rest, heal, gear up, get help and all kinds of things.

It was often not that lively in the complex, the reason being the absolute scarcity of sorcerers all around Japan. Even if there were enough sorcerers at a time, they were always deployed on various missions to protect the common folk and preventing them from knowing about the existence of curses.

Yet today, the complex made for a spectacle that was not common and quite certainly unusual to witness.

The otherwise empty streets of the complex now appeared rather lively, with various people in all sorts of attire roaming around. The majority of the people donned an attire with a black theme, a signature uniform of the Jujutsu Highschool, yet there were also other Jujutsu Sorcerers that did not like to wear the uniform.

Aside from the obvious affiliated group of Jujutsu sorcerers, there were also other people present. Some were being calmly escorted by sorcerers while some were tied up using special cursed ropes. There were even some that were throwing a tantrum.

"Why are we being dragged here against our wills?!" One cursed user out of a group of three yelled in rage. His skinny figure was tied up with a rope as he was dragged away by sorcerers.

"This isn't legal! We haven't done anything that elicits such a treatment!"

"Just get me out of these and see what I do!"

The other two also yelled with the previous one.

Such a scene could be seen in some other parts of the complex as well. What was happening here was a mass arrest of all the cursed users all across Japan. Tokyo, Kyoto, Yokohama, Osaka, Saitama, Sendai, and everywhere else. The cursed users that were in Tokyo alone numbered to 42, yet what about all the others?

The recent study conducted by Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru revealed the precise amount, it was the shocking number of 1265!

Considering the recent state of Japan and the mass chaos caused by the sudden increase of cursed spirits, such a response was ordered immediately by the higher ups and told to be given the highest priority.

Find out if a curse user is responsible for the incident, if not, either recruit them or execute them. That was the order that was passed by the higher ups and it was being carried out. Even still, executing anyone that wasn't willing to become a registered jujutsu sorcerer was a bit much and was met with extreme resistance by some sorcerers.

Considering that, the order was then changed from 'execute' to 'imprison'; as if that were any better.

Even still, there was still some dissatisfactions about that. Yaga doubted that the higher ups were going to change their decision this time though, neither did he think the sorcerers would be backing down. There were a some special grade 1 sorcerers that would oppose the council on matters like this.

Yaga looked outside the window of the high tower. He sighed.

He didn't know why, but still felt that the jujutsu world was about to be swept by a storm…
