Enforcer & Struggle!

In that moment time seemed to freeze for Ryder. As he watched the knife cut through the air only one thought crossed his mind.

'I'm sorry everyone, looks like I won't be able to keep my word anymore'

Because of one mistake he was now in a deadly situation he had no way to get out of.

He could try to use his avatar or his technique he got from Cain's fight. Yet none of them would be fast enough to deflect the blade.

All he can rely on was his armor and his body yet he had no confidence in blocking the knife. Even with his instincts screaming at him his body just wasn't fast enough.

Instead his plan changed, he knew this knife would cut through his heart yet he was prepared to grab the attacker the moment it hit and take him down with a bite at his throat!

'If I'm going to die then I'll take you guys with me!'

Cain sat in silence watching this moment before the blade suddenly stopped before it could hit him!

Upon this realization he looked around the attackers body which was now being restrained by Kaylee's power!

As time seemed to slowly go back to normal Ryder grit his teeth before releasing his avatar with a loud roar shaking the ground around him as he fused with Cain.

This time his fusion was very different, instead of a warrior wearing a wolf pelt it was more like he had become one with the beast.

His white robes under his armor begain to glow in a golden color as 2 fluffy wolf ears appeared on his head along with a tail connected to the back of his robes.

Ryder noticed the difference yet he pushed the thoughts to the back of his mind as he lunged at the attacker!

Just before he swung his sword the other man from before caught Ryder preparing to throw him away just to be surprised the moments later!

Once he was in the man's grasp he used the leverage to jump up and kick the green figure in the chest sending him flying backwards into a tree before a claw was sent after the man who grabbed him!

Unfortunately it didn't take long for the man to recover. He quickly grabbed ahold of Ryder's claw before swinging him over the mana head slamming him into the ground before throwing him towards the carriages directly at Daki and Jacob who was running up to help.

"UGHH!?" The pain shot through his body as he collided with Daki throwing both figures back into the destroyed carriage.

"HAHAHA! BOYS I FOUND ANOTHER ONE! LETS CAPTURE THIS DOG AND GAIN ANOTHER ENFORCER!"

The man yelled out with a loud laugh after sending Ryder flying.

He felt genuinely happy after seeing Ryder's transformation.

Greed filled his eyes as he rushed forward only to stop moments later with a spear inching closer to his head!

Instantly the man slapped the spear away as the green blur from before rushed forward only to be stopped by Kaylee moments later.

The figure quickly clicked his tongue as the face of a young green haired boy could be seen once his speed slowed down enough.

Yes, the sins faction had jumped into the battle supporting the Sanctus Kingdom diplomats!

At the sight of the boy Kaylee grew disgusted. The thought of her own people betraying their home left a bad taste in her mouth as she clenched her hand started to crush the boy.

'You dare to go against your own home! The people who protected you growing up and gave you everything you have today!? How could someone be so selfish!?'

Kaylee dispised traitors, the thought of someone betraying their own flesh and blood made her sick to her stomach.

Upon realizing that the fog started to crush his body the boy quickly released his avatar covering his body in translucent green scales.

His eyes turned into a predators, turning yellow with a black slit like a snakes. He immediately activated another skill releasing a burst of green energy dispersing the star dust around him.

Not even 2 seconds passed since he broke out of the dust just to suddenly kick off the ground rapidly making him flash forward in a green blur!

Kaylee had long moved away from the carriage not wanting to be obstructed since she was a long range fighter.

Yet she couldn't stop the boy from rushing up close to her. Quickly his hand came up with a reptilian claw ready to slash her.

Bang!

His hand was inches away from Kaylee's face as a golden light flashed forward with a loud boom, grabbing the boy by the head as both figures flashed away as a golden haired boy slammed the green haired one through a tree before pulling his head down slamming it into the ground!

"I WONT LET YOU HURT HER!"

His rage exploded out as he tried to slam the boy down again only to be forced to release the boy with a piercing pain from his arm.

He felt the green boys claws digging into his arm before both jumped back facing against each other while Daki and Jacob hold off the other man.

"Damn you are annoying you know that, why can't you just lay down and die already? If you did that the plan would have been perfect!"

"Stop running your mouth! I don't care who you work for or why you are doing this! If your actions will hurt the ones I care about then I'll put a stop to them!"

Currently both boys didn't have a weapon in their hands.

In the previous clash both had lost their weapons. One losing them after being kicked in the chest and another after being thrown into the carriage.

Now both only hand their bodies to rely on as they circle around each other looking for an opening.

'Damn this brat! First he kills one of our people ruining the kidnapping! Then he grabs me by the collar threatening me! Now he's getting in my way again! I'll kill him!'

The green boy's breath grew more ragged as he got more and more pissed with this situation.

Everything could have been avoided if the kidnappers weren't pathetic! These were his thoughts yet now he was focusing all his rage on Ryder.

"Fine then! Let's see if you can keep up with me then!"

'[Flicker Flash!]'

He screamed the name of his movement technique in his head as he suddenly flashed forward towards Ryder!

Yet his face was filled with shock! Before he could get close enough he noticed Ryder perfectly copied him! He also used Flicker Flash meeting him head on!

'What!? Why does he know my technique!?'

He wanted to understand how Ryder knew his personal movement technique yet he didn't have the time to think!

Ryder had even taken it a step further! He used his soul force to create a small marble of compressed air behind his extended arm.

Bang!

Instantly his arm shot forward as the marble popped with a loud bang sending his fist forward connecting with the boys chest being sent flying backwards!

During this time he looked over to his friends still worried about them, however upon seeing Jacob and Daki fighting the man to a standstill with Kaylee holding the man back he sighed with relief.

Yet he couldn't relax as a sudden sense of danger overwhelmed him from behind.

He could see Kaylee's eyes going wide as she looked at Ryder just for the boy to suddenly roll out of the way as a large silver greatsword slammed into the ground were Ryder once stood!

When he looked back he saw a familiar girl who had always been surrounded by her group of girls!

As the green haired boy got up he noticed the new arrival. He gave her a complicated look as she ignored him only to attack Ryder again.

Ryder clicked his tongue in annoyance, as his golden figure created a golden wolf shell that surrounded his whole body.

His body was low to the ground as he dodged attack after attack. He was on the defensive the whole time!

He always had to avoid the girls attacks being unable to counter with his own attack because the green haired boy would fill in for the girls faults clashing against Ryder each time he countered.

'Come on! Show me something I can use! My current skills aren't enough! I need to learn their skills in the battle or I'll die!'

He was fully concentrated as he rushed forward baiting another greatsword slash only to attack the green haired boy with a heavy punch!

The boy blocked the surprise attack but he was forcibly pushed back. Ryder was about to follow up with an attack on the girl just to be met with a wave of frost assaulting his legs!

'Damnit! I can't use that!?'

He grit his teeth preparing for what comes next as a falling greatsword and a green claw came flying towards his body.
