The Tonight Show
The filming of "Titanic" seems to be ill-fated. The shooting of the movie stopped after a month due to the poisonings incident in the crew. Someone poisoned the food of the crew members, and more than 150 people had to be sent to the hospital.
Director Cameron gave everyone ten days leave, and Eve also got the time to promote her movie "Scream" which is about to be released soon. Initially, "Scream" was set up for a small release, but due to Eve's massive popularity after "Romeo and Juliet", Miramax Studio decided to properly promote the movie.
Eve has a huge amount of fan base among young audience after the release of "Romeo and Juliet". The Shakespeare's tragedy has made more than 130 million dollars in Box office, and this number is still increasing. The initial budget of movie was just 14 million $, and now the movie has made profit of nearly ten times of its budget. Miramax is also trying to use the hype of Eve's name and promoting "Scream".
Today Eve was present at NBC's studio as a guest at "Tonight's show with Jay Leno". It is a very popular and is the most famous talk show in America after 'Good Morning America" amd "Oprah Winfrey's show". This is Eve's first time attending a talk show, and Kevin especially made preparations for Eve to be able to appear on such a popular show.
Eve Thompson has become a name synonyms with mystery in Hollywood. Her no interview, talk show or any kind of scandal has been out yet. Her movie "Romeo and Juliet" was released quietly and blasted the box office. Reporters and Tabloids are trying to dig information and scandals about her past, but the only thing they have found is a genius prodigy since childhood. She has not much friends, doesn't go out often and doesn't party like other teenagers. Eve Thompson's life is like of a monk. And Paparazzi's are also not able to follow her much as she is spending her time in shooting "Titanic" in Mexico.
Having a little mystery about oneself is a good thing for actors, but being totally mysterious is nothing but a dead end. So, Kevin Huvane arranged this talk show for Eve to reach to the public for the first time.
Eve is sitting on the back stage getting her mackup done and beside her is the famous Jay Leno. Jay Leno is a famous talk show host and has millions of loyal fans. His popularity is no less than an A-list Star. Today, Eve was wearing a light blue turtle tube dress which just covers her knees. She wore a silver pendant with a blue diamond in the middle of it, her arms bare and her hair were set free. It gives her a lively and refreshing look.
"Are you nervous Eve?" asked Jay.
Eve replied: "Not much."
Jay laughed: "Commendable spirit."
Jay Leno first went to the stage and started the show. "Hello good evening guys, I am your lovely host Jay Leno."
After talking about some political and environmental issues, Jay introduced Eve: "Guys, today we have a special guest. She is a newcomer in Hollywood who has recently debuted, but has taken the world by storm. There are countless people who have become a fan of her and are mesimorizerd by her beauty. People call her the most beautiful woman of the present times. If you have guessed it by now, then you are right. Yes I am talking about our most beautiful and loving Juliet, Eve Thompson."
Eve heard her name and hurriedly checked her dress for final confirmation. She went to the stage and waved to the audience through camera. She sat on the guest seat beside Jay.
Jay said: "How are you Eve. We are glad to have you here."
Eve smiled shyly: "Thank you Jay, I am fine. It's my pleasure to be here."
"No, no it's mine luck to have Juliet with me today. You don't know how many people would be jealous of me when they see us together."
Eve laughed a little hearing Jay's exaggerated tone. Jay knows for sure how to relax the atmosphere. All her nervousness from before was gone.
The next conversation went smoothly. Jay asked many common questions about Eve's life and many other things. Although these questions seemed basic but they were necessary. The audience doesn't know anything about Eve expect for her role as Juliet, so it was necessary to let everyone know a little about Eve and her life.
"Eve, I have heard that you are doing a movie with Leonardo DiCaprio again. Is it true? "
Eve nodded: "Yes, we are working together on a new project. I hope you will like us again together on the screen."
Jay laughed: "Of course we will love it. After all, you and Leonardo are new generation Vivian Leigh and Clarke Gable."
"No Jay, now it's too much. We are not that good."
Eve smiled shyly in response. After it, Jay asked some other questions about family and friends. Eve intoduced her father Liam Thompson a little as a buisnesman, but just told the name of her mother as Keira and didn't introduce her properly. She doesn't want everyone to know her relationship With Keira Wright and Marylin Monroe now. Although it will bring her immense popularity, but it will also bring her extra trouble. She is not that much famous yet and the identity of Marylin's granddaughter will only erase her original identity as Eve Thompson.
The segment ended with Eve's thanks and blessings to everyone and reminder of her upcoming film.
After the show, Jay Leno said to Eve: "You performed brilliantly for the first time."
Eve accepted the compliment gracefully. After all, no one likes actors to appear humble all the time. It will only make them look fake.
Ryan was waiting for her outside in the car. Eve entered backseat and found her agent Kevin Huvane sitting there while her assistant Mary was sitting on the front seat beside Ryan. She greeted them.
Mary who was sitting on the front passed Eve a blanket to cover herself.
Kevin said: "You have to do two more interviews tomorrow."
Eve almost cried hearing so much work. "Kevin, I can't do it anymore. Isn't one enough."
Kevin didn't accept the plea of his client no matter how pitiful she sounded. He is now almost immune to Eve's pitiful looks and tricks in the past six years. "No dear, it's necessary. I have handed the schedule to Mary, you will go there tomorrow."
