The Abyss is not something all people can relate to, mainly because they can not remember what it is or what it looks like. The abyss can be compared to the void that has been described in many tales. Except for the fact that the abyss is where people with no worth have been deemed "Trash" by the other outer beings. What are the outer beings, well that's something that merits more questions than one. Mostly because they can not be described by normal means, so I will keep them out of this monologue.

You know that "light" people see when they are close to death, yeah that's not a thing everything fades to black and one of five things happens. 1. You wake up in a different body 2. You meet a deity of some kind that grants you something: a wish, a job, an offer, etc. 3. You wake up in the Abyss 4. You go to Hell 5. You go to Heaven

Now you may be asking how you know all of this Cain? Well, three of those things happened to me. But, before I get into that let's talk about how I got here.

A figure is seen using brass knuckles repeatedly punch against what looks to be a mangled body on the floor. "Is this enough for you? HUH? Where is our sister?" The figure impatiently demanded answers from the bloodied pulp on the floor.

A weak voice is heard from the pile of bleeding meat and crushed bones on the floor, "HAHAHA, *Cough* yo-you think Hanah would w-want to *Cough* se-see you now? You're funny.*Wheeze* Bes-besides she died 2 years after yo-you left Ab-Abe *Cough* Cough* ."

The figure clenches his fist while looking away from the meat pile. After 15 minutes the figure looks down at the mangled pile while grabbing something from his bag. The figure grabs a large jug of what looks to be gasoline: they look as if they are contemplating something. The figure unscrews the cap and begins to dump the gas all around the room.

" *Cough* *Cough* *Cough* Wh-what are you doin' Abel. HAHAHA, if you were not going to heaven you sure aren't now." The bloodied figure jest from the floor.

"Yeah, well Cain you are not so innocent either. You were a hitman for most of your life until you got your leg blown off." The figure quips back while grabbing a match and lighting it.

The bloodied figure looks at his brother and starts to smile like a maniac, "Don't you think this is ironic? The story of Cain and Abel in the bible is the other way around. Cain killed Abel but I guess this time it's Abel's turn to kill."

"Your right, it is quite funny," The figure, now known as Abel, throws the match at Cain who is on the ground.

As the match hits the ground, the gasoline bursts into flame with a *Swoof*. The fire begins to spread like a virus. The flames begin to cook Cain as he starts to laugh maniacally. Abel opens the door to the building he is in without closing the door so Cain can see him. Abel walks forward a few feet and then turns around with a look of disgust but also a look of pain while looking at Cain. Abel closes his eyes, releases a deep sigh, and turns back around.

*Honk*

*Honk*

*Screech*

*Bammm*

A large sixteen-wheeler slams into the building where Cain is, while trying to dodge Abel. The truck instantly crushes Cain with a weird mix of a squelch and a faint crunch. Abel sees this and starts to laugh at Cain's horrible luck. He thinks about how Cain became a hitman at a young age to support Abel and their younger sister Hannah since their parents died overseas in a plane crash. 6 years after becoming a hitman, Cain was on the job and his leg got stuck in a beartrap that was set up by his target. The said target threw an explosive at Cain, which hit Cain's leg, and caused Cain's leg to be obliterated. Cain then became a businessman at a large firm. Cain saved up enough money to let Abel go to a school. 2 years while Abel was at school, Hannah got cancer and the only way to save her was to let her live with a scientist who tried to make a cure but was unable to, which led to Hannah not making it. 2 years later Abel came back from school, but he thought that Cain sold Hannah because where they live there is a large slave ring.(Not to mention Abel's crippled mental health) Which led to the current situation.

While Abel is thinking about this, the sky begins to rumble with hail falling and hitting Abel. Abel looks to the sky and flips it off. A cloud appears with what looks to be a hand flipping him off. When he sees that he starts to shout at the sky about why god would take Hannah. The sky flashes multiple times before…

*Crack*

*Ka-BOOM*

A streak of lightning comes down and hits Abel, vaporizing him, and sending him straight to the underworld.
