New School

Today is a new day, I'm going to start my new school today at Silent Hill High School, how exciting is that! I'm going to conquer today and walk tall and proud; nobody will take that from me today.

To make it clear I'm not excited to go to any new school green or whatever name it's called, I'm not happy but what can I do? My dad dropped me off before leaving for his new work.

Greenfield High School is bigger than my former school in Crenshaw, it was painted green and yellow, and a banner of the school mascot which was a Cheetah, hung at the top of the building. I entered the hallway and it was rowdy and full of life. I saw a group of girls and they looked hot I'm sure they were senior girls with handsome jerks as boyfriends.

I saw another group that looked like the Walking Dead in reality, they thought they looked fearsome and one of them even sneered at me. They looked so funny to me and I saw different groups of students. I continued looking around and I bumped into someone and I found out it was Ryan, the guy I bumped into yesterday, the guy with the sexy green eyes.

My god! He looked so handsome, I wanted to apologise but the words were stuck in my throat and I continued looking at him till he said" Won't you apologise" and I was snapped out of my dazed state.

I quickly apologised and he looked at me and said "I recognize you; you are the girl that I bumped into with my skateboard" I replied yes and he said" I am really sorry I was just practising because I am still a beginner" and I said ok, I nodded my head in understanding.

Ryan turned out to be so friendly he showed me my class and to my surprise, we were almost in the same class, not kidding. I am in grade 8 and he is in grade 9, so he is a class ahead.

My first day at silent-hill School was going well. I introduced myself to my class and a girl put me through. Her name was Jennie and she seemed nice. She was shorter than me, she had red hair and she looked like a nerd but without glasses, don't tell her that.

During recess, she showed me to the cafeteria, and we had to stand in a queue to get food, we got our food and I got to know her even more, found out Mr. Zachary Baker was her dad and she is my neighbour, she told me, I should avoid any confrontation with the seniors if not they will make my life a living hell and I told her my brother is in his senior year and my sister is in 10th grade so even if they try, they can't win.

Jennie smiled at my remarks and said, "I admire your courage, it's good," she leaned closer to me and whispered, "Maybe we can form our group like the RAFIJ group," she said with eagerness.

I raised my eyebrows at that and I whispered to her, "What is a RAFIJ?" I asked.

She smiled as if she held an important secret and said in a low voice, "RAFIJ is a group that consists of five friends, Ryan, Allison, Fred, Ian, and Jaden. They've been friends for years and they are very tight, not even a tiny needle can penetrate their friendship, although they are all in the 9th grade yet they are the only juniors that seniors don't really disturb."

I nodded my head slowly, it's good to have someone talking to you, I was not really interested in the RAFIJ group or whatever but I was happy to have a friend at least I wasn't bored at lunch.

The day went by so fast, my first day went smoothly like a gentle breeze. I think I like this school but I couldn't help missing my two best friends, Sophie and Grace but I know with time I will get more acquainted wi
