70 Runing away

Entering the town from the outside, Benton and his men quickly moved to the town square. Deshawn started fighting stronger and faster as the formation disappeared with his men next to him. Meanwhile, Alicia and her powerful men began to mingle with the soldiers and kill the captains one by one.

Benton and his guards arrived at the square. He saw that Deshawn and his three men survived, surrounded by about hundred fifty men in black. As Benton loudly ordered Alicia to release them, he saw Deshawn's head removed by Alicia. A red energy appeared in Alicia's hand and this energy began to absorb the energy from Deshawn's body. The other three captains committed suicide by stabbing their own hearts so that their souls could reincarnate rather than surrender to their enemies with the murder of Deshawn.

Benton was furious. With his eyes turned bloodshot, he picked up and activated his Grade-3 sword at the level of the soul core. Alicia pointed her eye back to the man next to her, and he threw another firework. Suddenly another magic formation was activated again. The second group, hiding in the forest, activated another magic formation for the second time.

Boden understood that he had to leave town when the formation was reactivated. Whatever was going to happen here wouldn't just be left with the deaths of the soldiers. Probably they would destroy the whole town. Since he was still in formation, he panicked and wanted to get outside. Boden left town at a point where no one could see him.

Outside of town, eleven people were waiting in a secret area. Each one was at the gathering energy level. One of them was the woman to whom Boden gave mana crystals. When the woman noticed Boden escaping from the town, she stepped out of her hiding place and pointed to Boden. Boden was still in a panic and realized that the woman knew himself.

Boden, cursing himself for being very conscientious, came towards the woman. The woman brought him to her hiding place with the others. Here, everyone was perched on a tree from which they could see the town square, looking at the chaos in the town.

"Why don't you run away?" Boden gave a confused look at the woman.

"Of course to get our share of the cake." The woman smiled and blurted out "Maybe the survivor will be too weak. By raiding we can seize all the spoils they have."

Everyone's eyes were shining when Boden looked at the others. Everyone was waiting for the people in the town square to kill each other. Boden got up on the branch of a tree, took the binoculars and set out to watch.

Sensing that his strength had decreased by 30 percent, Benton lost all his patience and he let the beast in his get out of control. He made a swing with his sword, cutting the air toward the men in black. He cut the fabric of space with his strongest swing. However his enemies were not that stupid to stand to his strike.

Each of men in the black fled in another direction. They were also casting a black fog spell in front of him to block Benton's view. Benton was already feeling the formation was starting to close his view. These ejected black fumes completely narrowed the field of vision. When he got to the point where the black men were, he could see no more than three meters around him.

When he could not see anyone, he started running to get out of the fog, while he was swinging his sword left and right in anger. His enemies started killing his men one by one. Benton realized he was trapped here. He quickly tried to leave town. But as he left the town square, he was caught with a whip at the ankle.

Benton smashed the whip and swung his sword towards the attacker. But this time he was caught by another whip at his wrists. Benton finally felt exhausted after fighting hard against whippers. Finally, his hands and feet remained tied with complete whips.

At this very moment, Alicia launched a deadly attack on Benton by activating a blood-powered blade. Then, the fog cloud surrounding the region within the magic formation disappeared.

Boden and everyone in the tree saw that around a hundred fifty assaulters in black waited on alert, circling a person altogether. After a few seconds, groans began to spread all over the town. The bodies of everyone within the magic formation were smashing and exploding. Blood flowed into the streets and quickly began to gather in the town square.

Alicia was chanting magical words, holding a bright yellow orb the size of a head. All the bleeding and blood from the corpses on the battlefield began to gather around Alicia. As Alicia's entire body was surrounded by blood, the sphere in her hand turned blood red and all the blood evaporated and her crimson energies filled the globe. This process took about ten minutes. When the sphere was full, Alicia put the sphere inside her space ring.

Alicia began to take in the remaining energy and began to establish soul formation. It took a noticeably short time to establish the soul formation. The incoming energy was too much. Those whose energies were absorbed in total had almost sixty thousand souls, and at least one hundred of them were people who had reached soul formation.

Opening the ninety nine acupoints with the blood-force energy conversion method, Alicia quickly went on to build the first formation block, then the second, the third, respectively. When she set up her seventh block, her blood energy ran out. The whole town looked like it was brutalized by dirty blood.

Alicia went back to her gathering energy top level again after performing a few magic moves. All the blocks she built turned back to the lake and became denser and narrower. Alicia was in great pain doing this. Because it was such a powerful method, she had to endure terribly painful pain.

She collapsed, covered in blood and sweat. One of the men next to her leaned over and put the pill in her mouth. Boden and scavengers could not even move to town center. Because there were many soul formation level fighters were around. All in the black began to plunder houses and shops.

She recovered a few minutes later and she rose from the ground with a smiling face. Nobody touched her and she was left on the ground. This was her order from the beginning. She had her protection, so she didn't fear anybody could do something to her. However, she didn't want anyone to touch her body.

Alicia looked around, her eyes turning blood-red. Only Boden noticed that she was looking towards Boden and others. Because of the binoculars he was holding, he realized that she ordered something about them. Boden watched as her fingers directed his way. Alicia pointed to the forest side and ordered her men to go and kill.

He swallowed air hard and his all hairs stood up. Not waiting any more than that, Boden quickly descended from the tree and started to run. The woman, perched on the next branch on the side of Boden, saw Boden fleeing deep into the forest, and she immediately jumped and followed him without even questioned.

Others realized something going on, couple of them started to run different direction. Rest of them keep watching and after Alicia's men appeared on the horizon, they started to run away. However, how many of them survived was not a question. After couple minutes everybody got killed.

Ten minutes later two soul formation first level fighter caught Boden and the woman. When they realized that Boden giving dangerous aura, they simply signaled each other and stopped. Boden felt that they stopped and he stopped as well and turned back to see. Two guys talked with each other couple times and they agreed upon the decision about giving up. Even if they were given order, they were really tired about battle already. Since Boden seemed like one way ticket to hell, they did not care about orders.

Alicia's right man gave signal and all surviving fighters started to converge. After confiscating all the space rings in the town and all the food and drink in the barn and storehouses, they left the dead town.

Seeing all assailants out of view, Boden and the woman continued their way with casual tempo.

"Hey, this is second time I saved your life. What is your name?"

"Hmph! This cannot be counted. I could be alive even if I didn't follow you."

"Are you sure? I believe that all from the town only me and you were left."

"Why do you think so?"

"Because they feared me. Since they couldn't kill, they just returned."

"You? I don't think so. Probably they have called back. Why would a soul formation levelled guy cower against a gathering energy kiddo!"

"So, you are kind of ungrateful one."

"Hey, if I was ungrateful, why would I call you in the first place?"

"Did you call me? I just went out of town and saw you there. Even if all of you attacked me, I would kill you all. Do I seem to need a shade under your wings?"

"Why are you getting angry like this? Do you want to separate?"

"Never mind. Where is the nearest city?"

"I am Della."

"Oh, You are blessing upon us now. Tch! Boden"

"Boden? What is the meaning of it?"

"Ground"

"and? Is it just ground?"

"What do you expect? A man lives for a home, a home built on ground. Every one needs a ground to settle. It is kind of family or country love indication. I am the most needed and trustiest. I don't want to ask about your name."

"Why? When you eat something or taste something that lacking, Della is the lacking thing. I mean if you don't have Della, you can't enjoy to the fulfilment. Hahaha. My mother felt something less, want me to fulfil the absent"

"Your mother was really weird, who cares about fulfilment. Well, I don't care."

"My name is better than ground shit."

"Hey, why do you curse now?"

"You are so rude! You deserve to be cursed. That way! Yes that direction for the nearest city. However it is part of another country. It is the capital city. I heard before, but never had a chance to visit."

"Nice, lets go then. We need to be quick. They may return."

"Yes."

When they ran for another two hours together, they crossed the border of the other kingdom.
