The Great Boar part 2

{ Foras village }

Zenno and Leilei are about to leave their house.

Hurry up brother Zen! l wanna learn how to swim!!

I'm already 7 years old. All of my friends in the village know how to swim, I'm the only one who can't swim. Leilei said with grin on her face while pulling her brother's hand.

I know! but don't run and look in front. if you stumble your gonna get hurt.

Yes! Leilei reply to her brother and smile.

Mom! we're going to river aren't you going with us? Leilei ask her mother who's cleaning the front of their house.

Sorry Leilei but Mom need to stay and watch the house while you're out. Promised I'll go with you next time. We're going to swim together. So you need to learn how to swim first.

Okay! if I learned how to swim, I want to swim together with mom, dad, and brother Zen.

Good girl Leilei! as Leila say that she kissed Leilei's cheek and pat it's head.

we're gonna get going mom, Zenno politely say that and they leave. Leila send them off with a smile.

~They are walking to the river~

The river flow from the North of the village to the west. it came from the tallest mountains that separate the continent, In the deepest part of the Sagar forest.

I want to learn how to swim! my brother Zen is going to teach me. I'll also catch some fish so that mom praise me, Leilei is a good girl mom and daddy love's her🎶

while walking, Leilei is singing her words and smiling cheerfully.

Haha.. Zenno laugh as he pat Leilei's head.

Alright before I teach you how to swim we're going to catch some fish, I'll show you how good I am at fishing. Said Zenno and raise his thumbs up.

Aye! Leilei response to his brother's boosting.

{ Alfren and the guards at the forest }

NOW!! Let's attack it all at once!

Alfren's loud voice echo throughout the forest his word are heard by his subordinates and charge to attack the now great boar who can't move,

but this won't stop it completely it's just a matter of time before the monster scape their trap. That's why Alfren lead the guards and they attack the great boar while it can't move. They shoot arrows and stabbing it's leg the boar is screaming because of pain, it's wounded legs couldn't support it's gigantic body causing it to fall..

STABBED!!

~ Deep Grunts ~

Alfren use it as a chance, he stabbed the leg that's already hurt and widen the wound.

Because of the wound, his sword past through its skin that cant be pierce with normal sword and inflect damaged.

The great boar let out a loud grunts. the pain cause it to panic and started kicking it's leg. Alfren managed to dodge it , but the other guards who got hit directly was sent flying.

The great boar continue to grunts! it's wounded leg have started bleeding, but still trying to to stand. Alfren who noticed this tried to stabbed it again, but the great boar attack again with it's leg and it's tusk. Alfren used his sword to defend himself. but he couldn't stand the impact, and was blown away.

Guuua!..... Sound that came out of Alfren's mouth when he was bash by the Great boar.

Growl !! Growl !!

~ Crashed ~

It bit the ropes that surrounds him and pull it, the trees that support the rope fall on the ground one after another.

The great boar can move again because the trees around it is gone, and so the rope that bind it.

( Captain are you all right his subordinate asked Alfren who is sitting in the tree where he got blew )

Damn! argh.. I thought I would die! I survived but I can't fight anymore. I'm really just an old man now! In just one hit, my body is shaking it's lame.

Alfren touch his leg to support it trying to stand up but he couldn't.

He didn't have any serious wound but the shocked of the attack cause not just his leg but his whole body to go numb. So he decided to stay where he sit.

what about the others. Alfren asked his subordinates.

Not good cap!! they are also injured and can't move!

The wound of the great boar is deep! it's not deadly, but I'm sure that boar will die because of blood lost. It was already in weakened state before we fight it so it won't recover. But we're going to die first! if it attack us now that is! tell the one who can moved to help the guards that can't move get away, We don't know what it will do now!

Cap!! it's strange! it's not attacking us !

Why? Alfren asked

~ Cough ~ ~ Cough ~

Huh huh...Well if it won't then it must be a miracle !! it works better for us if it don't attack us now. Even just few minutes if we can recover we can fight again!!

~ Grunts ~

The Great boar stopped attacking and started to walk away from Alfren and the remaining guards at the forest it was heading to the direction of the Foras village.

( Monsters are creature created incomplete, they cannot be reason with But also simple compared to human who have many emotion , they follow only their instinct to survive )

Wait that direction is !!

Cap..Captain the great boar is heading to the village.

This is bad!!there are people in the village who refused to evacuate and stayed even when we explained the situation.

( Day before the attack )

The chief tell the villagers about the Great boar and the plan to attack it. The villagers of the village return to their own house with pale face and trembling with fear to take their baggage and leave the village. But some people don't care if they die and refused to evacuate. The reason is that the other village is not also safe, if the Great Boar really goes out of the forest.

The other village is even smaller than Foras, for that reason they can't hire guards. Fortunately it was closed to road that is why monster rarely attack it, a small village wouldn't be able to accept a refugee larger than their citizens and it can't defend against the giant monster.

So if it was attack by the Great boar they need to evacuate again, with elder and kids they can't continue to run. eventually lost hope....

Anyway let's hurry and get back, we need to tell the villagers to run away. Alfren said! as he stand.

{ River }

10:00 AM

After fishing Zenno teach Leilei how to swim he hold her little sisters hand.

Just a little, kick your leg faster. That's right you're doing great. you also need to move your hand, kick the water. that's how you do it okay. now I won't hold you're hand to test how far you can swim on your own. Ready go!

He let go of Leilei's hand and walk backwards Leilei is swimming toward him. After swimming one meter distance she started to sink, before her head submerged in water Zenno catch Leilei.

I did it brother! I can swim now without you holding my hand. Leilei is jumping with joy her eyes is sparkling.

Good job Lei!

Lei is a quick learner. you learned how to swim in just a few minutes. you learned it faster than me!

Yay! I learned how to swim faster than brother Zen I'm gonna train more and someday I'll be better than brother.. Leila happily said those words.

If you learned this fast, then you're gonna beat me in no time. Zenno laugh as he pat Leilei's head.

Let's go home now maybe dad is already at home I'm also getting hungry. Let's have Mom cook this fish that we caught.

aw.. I wanted to swim a little more! Leila said with discontent, wanting to swim more.

Don't be sad! we're going to come again, together with mom and dad. right

Okay ... Leilei's response is weak but listen to her brother.

CRASHED!!!!

They are returning to the village but they hear a sound of falling tree's. The sound is getting closer to them, Zenno hear a grunts from a boar.

He look around with darting glances. He tells Leilei to return first to the village because it's near. Leilei who don't fell any problem return without asking for reason!

It's here!

With the sound getting louder the grunts is closer now and more daunting. He can see a back of a monster taller than trees. What come out is an giant monster.

Hehe! Zenno smile. You must be the great boar my mom was talking about. Zenno is acting calm but he's confused.

( If this monster is the great boar then why it is here? Did dad and the guards lost? it's wounded then they we're fighting it before it came here. Then what happened to dad? )

No.. I'm sure dad won't die! I need to calm down! There's no one who can fight in the village right now, if I let it go the village will be destroy. I need to defeat it here.

It's appearance that cover in blood and wound but refuse to fall have called out fear to Zenno, it was the first time he was scared to fight his enemy.

He put his hand on his sword and observed the giant monster in front of him.

it's okay! it might be big. it's already wounded. I'm sure I can defeat it!

I'm sure I can do it!! Haaaaa Zenno shouted with all his might as if throwing his fear and challenge the strongest monster he ever see.

He unsheathe his sword and run straight to the great boar.

I can't used my magic because it tire my body faster, with it's big size it won't fall easily my body will reach it's limit first.

Damn! You're wounded so you should just stay at your home!

The great boar rush, the trees tumbled toward Zenno, he jumped left side. But the great boar rush again, Zenno couldn't react right away and got hit. He realized that he can't scape getting hit, so he used his sword to defend himself. The attack of the great boar cause him to roll on ground.

Aaargh.... Cough! Cough! that really calmed me! Haha.. that's not like me at all, getting scared. " Just do it like usual "

As he said that he stand again and observed the great boar.

Stay calm and assess the situation!

I need to organize the information from my observation and use it to my advantage. look at my surroundings and my enemy;

It's overwhelming strength come from it's size and weight. Even if I managed to guard the attack, with the difference in our mass I'll just get blown away. So I can't let it hit me!

Zenno move faster and attack from time to time as he was thinking what to do ? He hide behind the trees and attack from side when the Great boar rush. But the Great boar always dodged his sword attack.

It's leg is wounded, but still faster than me!

It's good that it's left eye is wounded, but why it completely Know my attack? I've been attacking from blind spot!

Senses of animals are far stronger than humans. That is also same for monster.

it must be smell! it can differ the smell of my blood from it's blood that's why it knows exactly my position.

I hurt my leg when I landed from that attack. Even a small amount of blood is enough to give away my location!

Blood! He again observed again the great boar. The wound on it's leg is bleeding faster than other.

Zenno's movement is faster again than before, the giant boar is also getting slower because of its wound, even so! Zenno couldn't land an attack. He was pushed back every time he tried to attack the Great Boar.

( 5 minutes later )

Argh.. It's tough!! I can't even get near it.. haha just as dad said, if it's not wounded I wouldn't be alive right now! But for some reason I can't help but smile. I wonder why?.. I was so scared earlier, but now I'm thinking that it's kind of fun. Fighting opponent who's far stronger than me, fills me with excitement!!

( Zenno's thinking )

I've been fighting many monster in the forest, day after day for no reason. It's just I feel this drive to get stronger.

For what reason?...I don't know!

For who?.... I don't know!

But if I don't.. I think I'll regret it someday! That's what's always drive me! I fight to learned what I don't know! Not to have regret! I'm sure this feeling is also important experience.

So there's no reason not to enjoy it!

When the Great boar rush, he run back straight to the biggest tree in the forest. He did not stop but speed up and climb up by running on it's trunk. The when he's about to fall, he jumped and back dive toward the Great boar bellow him.

CRASHED!!!!

The tree fall but Zenno was not hit by the attack and now above the Great boar.

Even if you no where I am you can't do anything.

Even that big tree couldn't withstand it! I would be dead if I were there. But seems you also feel damaged. it's enough to stopped your movement for few seconds. I won't let it slide.. CHANCE!!

~Stabbed ~

( High-pitched Squeal )

Zenno's sword passed through the thick back of the monster because he use his mana particles to surround his weapon, sharpening and strengthen his sword.

His sword are still stabbed in the back of great boar when the Great boar let out a deep growls and started shaking it's back to throw Zenno who's still riding on it's back.

Unable to do it! it then rush and rammed it's back on the trees.

~SMASHED ~

{ Foras Village }

Alfren and the guards who went running to the village to go after the Great boar is surprised that they arrived first. Still catching their breath, sign of relief shows on their faces. They expected that the monster are already at the village wreaking havoc and run as fast as they can even with battered bodies from the battle with the Great boar.

They just arrived when Alfren see Leila hurriedly go out of their house equipped with sword and worried expression written on her face. He realized right away that something's wrong so he called out Leila to stopped her.

Where are you going Leila? Alfren asked Leila he shouted it so that Leila can hear him.

Alfren!! Are you alright? what happened in your subjugation? Defeat the Great Boar? Leila asked her husband when he see him return, like there's no time to waste.

No we couldn't !! It was heading this way so we thought that it was already here !

Just where did it go if not here?

What about you! Where are you going? Bringing sword with you!

~ Few minutes ago ~

Leilei return alone from the river so Leila asked her why and where is his big brother.

We were walking home when we heard sounds of trees falling so we stopped and after that I also heard a strange sounds, and grunts.

Brother told me to go home first so I did!

He's still in the forest.

~ Present ~

We need to hurry!! if it was the Great Boar that idiot will try to fight it!! there is no way he can win. Leila said with a worried face

Leave it to us and calm down!! you're not a

in a condition that you can fight! we're gonna head there so it's okay!

But !! Leila is about to say word but Alfren stop her with his word!

It's okay Leila!! Alfren said again and laugh

Zenno is indeed idiot, but when it comes to fighting he's a genius!

As he say that he left again and round his subordinate and head to the forest

{ Forest }

The Great Boar rammed it's back in the trees with a sword still stabbed on it's back it natural act to eliminate Zenno who's riding on it's back.

~ Crashed ~

grunts!! grunts!!

Heh haha I survived!! but that was closed I almost got crushed !!

but that's one point! I finally landed a hit. I'm not sure if it will work at first so I just released my mana as much as I can through my sword!

Let's do it again!! he said and attack again

He attack the Great boar with his sword running around the trees then attacking again.

While fighting the Great Boar Zenno arrived at the River where he and Leilei were playing just minutes ago. The Giant boar is still alive even with wound all over it's body. But it's grunt become heavier each time, sign that it was reaching it's limit.

When it walk the blood all over it's body paint the soil. It rush toward Zenno who's standing near the river. The ground shake, with it's huge body the sound of earth rumbling cause disturbance in the forest.

The monster living in the forest across the river became restless and came out.

Zenno used his mana particles to surround his sword again, he was standing in a area with nowhere to hide. he can't run around like what he did earlier and he don't have the stamina to do it. He summon all mana particles he can to increase his final attack.

grunts !! grunts!!

The Great Boar let me a loud grunts and attack using it's tusk!!

Zenno's surprised by it's speed! It's leg is hurt and dying but he reached him faster, it's big body is hold back because of trees surrounding it in the forest. Not that they are in plain it was faster than before.

~ CLASHED ~

He used his weapon to stopped the attack but his sword couldn't cut the tusk of the Great Boar.

Haaaaah !!! it's so heavy!!

Zenno is being pushed back by the Great boars attack, blood have started flowing from his mouth but he grit his teeth and continue to fight.

He see a small cut in the tusk of the Great Boar so he pushed again with all his strength

~ Cracked ~

But his sword was the first one to be destroy

still before it happened he duck so the attack didn't hit him. He slide bellow it's huge body and jumped up then using half of his sword he opened a whole on it's belly.

The Great Boar fall !!

Cough !! Cough !!

The blood that got on him is washed away when he fall to the river , he stand up intending to go home but he lost conscious without ten steps after walking!!

Few minutes after that Alfren and the guards arrived at the scenes only to see him sleeping near the dead body of the Great Boar.
