Chapter # 13

All the students arrived at the dock and James was trying to find Adam and the girl but it was too difficult in such hustle bustle. Now some land was visible and near the shore, a mansion was coming in vision as the ship drew nearer to the shore. The ship dropped the ankle and when the ship stopped, Mr. Stern guided the students down the ship and into the building. It was majestic, even from the inside. Then Mr. Stern took them to the main hall, which was magnificent.

There was a beautiful large chandelier hanging in the ceiling and there was a stage in the hall and front of it were four extra-long tables with chairs and four teachers standing beside each of them. James noticed that Mr. Gon was one of the teachers and was waving at James with a wide smile on his face. James waved back and thought, "So Mr. Gon is a teacher".

A lady wearing glasses with really strict vibes coming out of her reached to Mr. Stern and said, "Thank you Mr. Stern... I'll take it from here". She said this and Mr. Stern left the hall. Now facing towards the students she said, "Welcome dear students to Pelmion Academy. My name is Shauna and I am the assistant of the academy's headmaster Thalius Sendaurus. He will be arriving shortly and then we will start the sorting ceremony".

Then suddenly, Thalius Sendaurus appeared on the stage out of thin-air. Someone said from the crowd of students, "Look! That's teleportation magic, which can be learned by Red Ravens". James looked closely at the person. He was an old man, with a silvery. long beard, had a red tattoo under his left eye and had a very lively expression on his face.

Mr. Thalius said, "Ah! A fresh new batch with fresh new students. I still perfectly remembered the day when I firstly came here and..". Ms. Shauna interrupted him and pointed at the students. Mr. Thalius then said, "Oh! I completely forgotten about the ceremony. Well, that is the reason that I have an assistant". He stopped and flicked his fingers and a table appeared on the stage on which there were four open jars with dull, grey liquids inside them.

"As some of you already know," said Mr. Thalius "That there are four houses in Pelmion. Red Raven, Blue Beetle, Black Blaze, White Wave. Each house teaches a specific type of magic and requires a specific type of mana. So, through this ceremony, your mana will be identified and you will be placed in that house. Your house will be like your home and family here. Now don't be sad if you wanted to go here but went there, you should be happy with what you have gotten"

Ms. Shauna then said, "Now when I call your name, come on the stage and you will be sorted". Ms. Shauna opened a large scroll and started, "Firstly, Mr. Ryan Ronaldo". Ryan went on the stage and sat on the stool in front of the table with jars. A moment later, the third jar's liquid turned bright red and a small segment of the liquid attained a circular

shape and started levitating. Then the ball flew at the direction of Ryan and hit him on the face. A red tattoo appeared under his left eye. Ryan was shivering a bit and went at the 3 table down the stage and a beautiful young lady greeted him.

Then Mr. Thalius said, "Oh! I almost forgot... These four teachers are your homeroom teachers and will teach their students. Now from left to right we have Mr. Gon from Black Blaze, Ms. Tuna from White Wave, Ms. Karen from Red Raven and lastly Mr. King from Blue Beetle. They were one of the best students at their times and now will teach you".

Then the ceremony continued. Angelina went to Red Raven and Ryan happily welcomed her. Adam was the first to go to Black Blaze and James had a bet with Ryan that this would happen. Students were being fairly divided into each house. Then Ms. Shauna said, "Ms. Tera Shaw". The white Paladin's owner came on the stage.

But as soon as she stepped on the stage strange whispers started to flow in the hall among the students. "Is she the daughter of...", "You should not do near her or she might kill you". These kinds of whispers were flooding in the hall. Tera was chosen for Black Blaze. But when she went to her table and sat on a chair, the students around her went to the opposite line. No one even greeted her. Except for Adam and Mr. Gon. It was like that everyone was afraid of her.

He was still in his Rane of thoughts when Ms. Shauna said, "Mr. James Hook"
