Chapter 9
the 2 children walked out of the room and grabbed my hands then we walked down the small hallway. as soon as they saw their grandmother they ran to her. i couldn't help but smile at the sight for some reason. "come on we should get going" I said walking towards the door.
I opened the door and made it to the end of the steps before I noticed we were surrounded. "Amanda, Tyler, Gail and Gavin were tied up with knives to their throats.
"hello Arianna it's been awhile" a familiar face said with a smile "what the hell did you do!" I said turning to the grandmother holding the children close to her. "Lo siento mucho, no tuve otra opción" (I'm so sorry I had no other choice) she cried. I turned back to the man holding my group hostage. "you know Elijah I never really liked you very much" I said to the tall tan man with blonde hair and blue eyes.
"and here you were one of my favorites" Elijah said with a smile. the wind began to blow as I began to grow annoyed. "make a move and I'll have them killed" he said seriously, straighting his face. the breeze quickly came to a stop "good girl" he said walking over to me and grabbing my chin. "don't you touch her!" Maria snapped from behind me. he looked at Maria for a second then put his eyes back on me "I'm disappointed Arianna, you've become weak" he said "I'll come with you" I said and he smirked once again.
"are you crazy" Gail yelled "just don't hurt them" I continued ignoring Gail. "I won't hurt them, but hey are coming with me" he said, grabbing my arm. "and if you try anything I will kill them" he said pulling towards one of their vehicles as soon as he opened the door he turned to one of his goons. "kill, the grandmother" he said.
"no no please don't do this" I began to plead and struggle in his grasp. *BANG* a gun shot echoed in the air and I fell to my knees tears filling my eyes as I saw the old woman, who betrayed us to protect her grandchildren, lifeless body fall to the ground. "I told you, you were weak", he said kneeling down to my level. then picking me up and throwing my in the SUV "this car is for us everyone else ride in different vehicles" he said.
he got in and sat next to me, and the vehicles began to drive off. "I swear to God I will kill you" I said using my feet to push myself against the door "we both no you can't" he said "if I wanted to could take the energy out of you body in a split second" he continued. that was his ability. Elijah could take and give whatever kind of energy he wanted to whatever or whoever he wanted.
"you know if I really wanted to I could even give you a type of energy to where you'll have no choice but wanting to Fuck me" he said leaning over me and rubbing my cheek with his thumb. suddenly a feeling of arousal filled my body. "barley any energy put in and your already feeling it" he said "do you want some more?" he asked with a slight smirk. "stop" I said turning my head away. "your right" he said sucking the energy he had just put in my body back out "it's not time yet" he continued turning to face forward.
I took a deep breath. what I was about to try I had never done before. I closed my eyes and began to concentrate on making the wind blow, stronger, and stronger. as the wind got stronger the car began to swerve and the driver tried to keep the car straight on the road. the wind grew stronger. Elijah turned to look at me. "enough" he said annoyed. "did you really think I'd just let you take us?" I said with a smile. "boom!" I said slowly as suddenly one of the tires blew out causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle, and us crashing into a tree. Elijah was knocked out along with the driver.
I then tried to open the door but it wouldn't budge, so I kicked out one of the windows and climbed out of it.
the other 2 SUV'S screeched to a stop. men quickly jumping out of them and the kids and my group being dragged out after them some holding guns to their heads. "come on do you really think you can beat me" I said with a smile. "move and they die" the man holding a gun to Amanda's head said. "now I don't think you want to do that" I said turning back to the totalled SUV and using the wind almost like telekinesis to drag Elijah and the driver out of the vehicle.
"touch mine and I touch yours" I said now using the wind to pin their unconscious bodies to the ground. "a bitch like you only knows how to follow order" a man that was holding the gun to the grandmothers head said "oh really" I said lightly. as I began to suck the air out of the driver's lungs. he woke up and began to cough gasping for air but being unable to take a single breath, until finally he was dead. "you killed one of mine earlier so it was my turn, still think I won't kill anyone?" I asked looking back and forth at the two men who spoke earlier.
now they were silent "you know what I think I'm finally tired... if playing... this... game..." I said slowly "Ari whatever your about to do, please don't" Maria said slightly pleading. "Maria, I am done, messing around, I'm already going to hell anyway for killing people, what's killing a few more gonna do" I said looking her in the eyes.
