Town

Huff! Huff! "A-are we there yet?" I asked the person in front of me.

"We're almost there Noel! Don't give up now! Wait, I see the town! We've finally arrived, Noel!" Libera jumps around happily and gazes at the town of Car-antor as if she's seeing a magical artifact. I'm relieved that we've finally arrived after walking for who knows how long! If we journeyed any further I believe my legs are going to melt!

We walked closer to the huge town of Car-antor. The town has thick high walls surrounding serving as a defensive structure and a moat going around it. It has a giant gate located on the east side of its walls on where we are planning to enter.

"Halt! S-state your business... before you enter." A guard faced us with a stern face. I don't know if he's taking his job seriously or if he's having diarrhea. Probably the latter...

"We're here to look for a place to stay and to buy some supplies before we go on a mission, I'm accompanied by these two girls." The guard looks at uncle Hubert then at Libera then to me. Did he just blush when he looked at me? You got to be kidding me!

"Alright, You may enter. But don't do anything rash or... I'm gonna..." Gonna what? Is he gonna poop? Out here? Oh gods, please no!

"I'm gonna... have to bring you to my superior."

"No worries young man. Anyway, we'll be going. Goodbye" Uncle Hubert entered the town with me and Libera in tow. I'm gonna be honest with you, the town is very lively!. It was filled with people going in and out of stores and booths, the town is also filled with wooden cottages and a few stone houses here and there with a bustling crowd. There is also a castle on top of a hill at the very edge of the town's walls. Now that's something! After a little bit of sight-seeing, we went inside a pretty popular inn dubbed The Moaning Chicken... That... that's a really weird name.

"Hello there! How are you? Do you need a place to sleep? Or perhaps some chicken to eat? Oh! I know! Something to drink perhaps?"

"We need two rooms to stay in for the night, also a meal for three. Oh, and a place to wash ourselves."

"So two bedrooms, three hearty meals, and a place to wash? Alrighty! That'll be nine silver coins! Four for the rooms, three for the meals, and two for the washroom."

"Alright, here you go"

"Jolly cooperation! Here are the keys for the rooms upstairs, they're the first ones you see to the left as you go up, also we don't have a washroom, but we do have hot springs at the back! You can use that to dip in. Your food will arrive later, so how about you find a place to take a seat then we'll just deliver the food to your table?"

"Awesome, we'll do just about that."

"Alright, take care!" That receptionist guy is probably the happiest one I've ever seen! He's too jolly...

We took a seat at the corner of the inn while talking to each other on what plans are we gonna do tomorrow, Old Man Hubert said that they'll just stay here for a day and they'll head back to the Kingdom's capital. The town we're in is under a kingdom known as Cantawarabur. The capital city is called Al-Fiore, it's the place where Uncle Hubert and Libera are going next after they have rested and resupplied.

"So, Noel, How about you? What are you gonna do after this?" Uncle Hubert asked me on what action would I take next... In all honesty, I just arrived in this world and I have no idea what's going on, but it's not like I should say that should I?

"I-I don't know really... I just arrived in this Kingdom and I have no idea where to go. I'll probably hunt some wild animals to sell and make money from there."

"Haah?! Noel, you can't do that! You're too beautiful and innocent for such a thing! Even if you wanted to, you need to have a license from the Adventurers Guild first before you can sell those animals you've hunted." Libera remarked.

So I need to go to the Adventurers Guild first... Wait. That's it! The Adventurers Guild! Why didn't I think of it!?

"Besides, I'm not gonna let you hunt those dangerous beasts alone! I, Libera of copper rank, will protect you!" Smack!

"Ouch! Eeek! You damn old man! What was that for!?"

"You brainless runt! We have to go to the capital! Did you already forget!?"

"Ay... Oh, yeah, I forgot... ahahaha~" Pfft! This old man and young girl duo sure are funny at times. I giggled at the two from their antics, it's nice to have some company in this new world. If I didn't meet them, who knows what could have happened to me?

"By the way, what did you mean when you said copper rank?"

"Ah, I forgot to mention. Copper rank is a rank given to Adventurers by the Adventurers Guild. They go from Copper, Iron, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Mithril, Orichalcum, and lastly the highest rank Adamantite. And yeah... I'm at the lowest rank, ehehehe~" Libera scratched the back of her neck as she said her rank bashfully, It seems like she's embarrassed from mentioning it.

"Oh! That's cool! Then what about uncle Hubert? What rank is he?" Uncle Hubert suddenly looks at Libera, while Libera looks at him with puppy eyes. It looks like even Libera doesn't know uncle Hubert's rank... geez.

"Sigh... Alright, alright I'll say it. My rank is..." I look at uncle Hubert with expectant eyes, while Libera does the same. uncle Huber looks disturbed from the staring that he's being given...

"M-my rank is... Gold"

"Uwaaah! You're Gold rank!? How can you be Gold rank? At most I expected you to be Silver, but Gold? HOW!? With that fat belly of yours, I'd think you'd be copper..."

"T-this girl..." uncle Hubert looks at Libera with a twitching smile. Oh! Is that a vein on his forehead?

"Ahahaha..." I laugh nervously, due to the moment that a volcano might erupt any second now... but before that happened, the food we ordered finally arrived! Phew! I think Libera dodged a storm right there.

"Sigh... Enough of that, Libera. The food is already here, let's just eat and then rest." "Yay! Food!" Nom nom nom! I was startled at what I saw. Libera swiftly wolfed down her meal! She amazingly finished half of her food in under a minute, while I haven't even taken a bite yet!

I look at my meal, and I slightly drool just from looking at it. My plate is composed of white rice, green peas, and roasted beef with gravy on top. I took a slice of beef and ate it. Delicious~ Whoever cooked this must be a five-star chef! I ate my meal as I savored every last second of eating that roasted beef.

"Puwah~" Burp!

"Ah, that was good! Hey, Noel. Let's go take a bath!" Huh? Did I hear that right? Take a bath? With her? Noo! I may be a girl now, but I'm still a boy at heart! I can't possibly take a bath with her! (AN: We all know Noel is gonna be fully a girl. Even if she still denies it.)

"Huh? A-Ah... You go ahead, I'll go after you take a bath."

"What are you saying!? You should take a bath with me! Don't worry, I'll scrub your back! In turn, you'll also scrub mine! Hey, Gramps! I need the other key for the rooms, we'll be taking a bath now."

"Alright, here you go. Make sure you girls don't do anything funny alright?" Anything funny? You stupid Old Man! Do you know how much of trouble she'll cause if I'll take a bath with her!?

"Teehee~ Don't worry! Stupid Old Man."

"This rascal..."

Libera grabbed my hand as she dragged me to where the hot springs are located. We entered a room where you change and remove your clothing. Inside, I quickly removed my clothes and changed into a bath-towel. I looked at Libera, and to find that she's butt naked made me blush!

"L-Libera, why aren't you wearing a towel!"

"Huh? What do you mean? It's natural to take a bath naked though?"

"Still!"

"Eh? Noel, are you sick? Why is your face red?" I blushed harder as she walked closer to put her hands on my cheeks. If anyone sees me right now, I'm as red as a tomato!

"I-It's nothing... Don't worry. Why don't we just take a bath?"

"Sure! Let's go!"

Libera leads the way to the female's courtyard on where we're going to take a dip. The courtyard is big and filled with lanterns. In the middle is a giant hot spring where steam is coming out. Fortunately, it was only me and Libera who are inside the courtyard, if there were any other women I'll faint from embarrassment! I touched the spring's surface with my toe to test its waters. The spring is really hot but tolerable enough to dip your body. I slowly descended in the spring, while Libera dived straight to the middle! Sigh... Silly girl.

I enjoy the warmth of the hot spring as it tickles my body and rejuvenates my white skin. The warm waters are so relaxing, it made my mind go blank. Squish! Squish! Huh?

"Eeeek! L-Libera, what are you doing!?"

"Uwaa~ They're so big and squishy! Why are they so big, Noel? Do you drink milk every day?"

"N-No! L-Libera, stop it! I-I'm gonna..." Squish! Squish! Squish!

"Iyaaah!! Stop it!!!"
