11 Getting her out of here alive

Patel looked at her reflection in the mirror not knowing how to feel, She was wearing a lavender dress, Her father had sent the maids to help get her dressed, He thinks that she doesn't know his plan.

He came to her this morning telling her that he will send her to the Wilson's family with gifts to offer peace with them. As Jacob told her to do, She played along with him and pretended that she was not aware of his original plan.

Patel stared at her hands that were shaking from the fear. It's not just her hands, Her whole body was shaking from the fear. For a moment she thought about running away from her but her father will catch her before she even can get past the main gates.

She turned around to look at her mother when she felt her hand on her face, Her mother was smiling at her, That smile made her feel warm, Safe, And she didn't want to leave this warmth and go to an unknown place, Where she might not feel her warmth again or feel her touch, The thought brought tears to her eyes and she felt her mother kiss her forehead.

"Everything will be alright." Her mother signalled to her, Hoping that it would comfort her but it made the tears in her eyes slide down her eyes and land on her cheeks.

Patel threw herself in her mother's embrace and started to cry, hugging her tightly, Refusing to let her go.

Suddenly Olive heard gunshots. She pulled Patel away from her and asked her to stay in the room and don't come out until she comes and gets her.

"What's wrong?" Patel asked her mother.

"Nothing, Don't come out of the room." Her mother said to her and she nodded her head.

Outside, When Olivia left the room, She heard the gunshots sound getting closer. She was about to go downstairs to see what was happening when she saw Jacob coming up the stairs.

"Where is Patel?" Jacob asked and Olive followed him already walking towards Patel room.

"In her room, What is happening?" Olivia asked.

Jacob stopped walking and turned to look at Olivia, The woman who raised him as her son.

"The Wilson's sent their man, They knew what Henry was planning, Ethan sent his man to stop him, Also... To take his revenge." Jacob said and watched how Oliva's face turned pale.

"We need to get Patel out of here." Olivia said in a low voice fearing that Henry might hear them.

"It's going to be hard. They are surrounding the mansion. They are not planning to let anyone go out of here alive." Jacob said as he opened the door to the Pastel room.

Jacob stopped in his tracks, Frozen at the room entrance when his eyes fell on Patel who was wearing a beautiful dress, No, It was her who made the dress beautiful, He felt a strange feeling wash all over him.

Jacob shook his head hopelessly, Disappointed by himself, He needs to focus on getting out of here alive.
