Ethan stared down at the guests with his cold grey eyes. Tonight he was in an unusually great mood.

"Ethan, The meeting room is ready and everyone is present." It was Alice, His younger sister said.

Ethan turned to look at his sister with a warm smile on his.

"Thank you for helping." He said.

"Don't think, It's my duty to help." Alice replied as she approached him."Don't be so harsh on them there." She added and earned a low chuckle from her brother.

"I will try not to." Ethan said before he left, heading towards the meeting room.

Lana stepped outside the mansion for a minute to check on something before she went back. She was about to go and attend to the guests when she saw her son Isaac walking towards her.

"Did your guest arrive?" Issac asked, seeing how his mother was waiting for that unknown guest.

"No, I don't know what is taking her so long." Lana replied looking at her watch.

"So it's a she. You can go back to the guests, I will make sure to wait for her and take good care of her once she arrives." Issac said with a grin on his face.

Lana rolled her eyes at her son words

"Don't do anything stupid." She warned him before she left walking towards the guest.

Lana smiled when she saw her daughter Alice, Finally made her appearance in the ballroom.

"Is Ethan in the meeting room?" Lana asked her daughter.

"Yes, The meeting had just started, I hope that we don't have to get rid of one of the guests' dead bodies this year." Alice said as she looked at the guests.

"Well, Knowing your brother's bloodthirsty nature, This will be a very slim chance." Lana replied to her daughter's words.

"Yes, It is." Alice said."Everything seems quiet, I think it's going to be like last year's gathering but with less drunk guests." She added.

"I made Issac think that I'm going to survive an alcoholic drink but the truth is I didn't, I don't want to repeat last year's events. You know how he acts once he becomes drunk." Lana replied.

Hearing this Alice laughed, Her brother will be angry once he finds out that she tricked him.

"It seems that aunt Sofia left early." Alice said as she stared at her cousin Noah who was talking to one of the guests.

"I don't know, She told me that she will stay." Lana said as she searched for her sister in the room but she didn't find her.

Alice noticed how her mother became sad suddenly.

"It's not easy for her to forget Mom. Give more time. Maybe one day she will forgive him." Alice said, trying to comfort her mother.
