"Hina, who is Sanim?" asked Hose, who was hidden behind the thick bushes.

"Sanim….. She's….. You should ask Veru. He would be very happy to talk about her, " Hina giggled as she looked around, "there… come with me."

She walked towards the raised floor on her left and hid behind the wall.

"Sniff…. Sniff….."

"Eww, " Hina scowled as the faint smell of freshly painted walls simulated her senses. Her hands were sticky and covered with paint. Sulking, she looked at Hose, who didn't care much and ignored her.

"Don't make that face. Whom are we even waiting for? Why would she help us? Can we really trust her?" Hose asked, his eyes filled with doubts.

"Worrying about it won't do any good. Everything depends on Veru. I hope he somehow manages to convince her."

Hose made a dumb face, "just who is she?"

While Hina chatted with Hose, Veru managed to climb up the pole, reaching all the way to the windows.

Gulping down his dry throat, he looked at the shattered window; drops of cold sweat that covered his forehead tripled in the lush green ground, which glistened an ambient radiance.

His hands trembled, it headed towards the knob, turning it and pushing it inwards.

Gripping the pole, he carefully held the windowpane and slowly loosened his grip, as he floated in the air, holding nothing but the pane.

Pulling his entire body up, he entered through the window.

"Dhupppp….."

The lights went out...

He touched down the white marbled floor, as he gained his balance, but soon was hit by something.

His face distorted, as he felt a familiar feeling, and accelerated. 'I didn't want to come here,'

"Slam….."

His head collided with the wall behind him, as he collapsed down, his vision turning blurry.

A dark figure stood over his body, as the long strands wrapped him; he lost his vision, and soon his consciousness.

"Hey! Veru, wake up, " a sweet, yet a devious voice rang through his ears. Slowly opening his eyes, the lights were back, and a long black-haired girl rested next to him, whipping her lips.

Her red eyes, clear as a crimson blood ruby, had his sharp complexion, filled with an extreme desire to gobble him.

"S-sanim, why am I lying in the bed?" Veru's voice trembled, looking at her face. 'She looks creepier,'

"Veru, you are finally here, " licking her lips, she giggled.

Veru moved his hand, but couldn't; they were tired, "release me, " he struggled to break free, but the straps were tight.

"I won't. You would leave me just like that day. You finally came here, I won't leave you. I won't let you go away."

"Listen, I need your help, " Veru looked at her, sighing and shaking away his denial.

The red rubies gleamed, "Veru.... needs Sanim's help. What? Do you need anything? Money? I can give you. Shall I buy you? I will treat you well."

Veru's expression didn't change slightly. 'She's still the same.'

"I don't need them, I need you to help us."

"What do you need?"

Veru raised his hands, "release me. I promise I won't escape."

"Promise, "

"I won't. I promise, " the straps around his hand, holding him, loosened and he sat in his back.

"We need you. Can you clear the dock of any Trevor's men?"

"Easy, " Sanim gave a cheerful smile, "I would do anything for you."

"Thank you, " Veru's eyes froze, hearing her reply; he expected her to ask him a ton of questions.

"I am leaving. I need to leave, now."

"Veru, why should I help you? You would leave me just like before"

'As expected, ' Veru bit his lips. "I would come back to you, I promise."

Guilt ran through his body, but his expression remained calm. 'I must convince her, I can't put them in danger,'

"But, you need to stay with me forever. I won't let you run away this time. You came back to me, and I didn't pursue you. You do remember that, right?" She looked at the green-haired boy with eyes filled with suspicion.

"Sigh…."

"I do remember it, " Veru looked at the red-eyed girl with a sense of defeat.

"Hehe…. Good then, I would distract them. Come back soon, "

Veru turned at the very same window he came from, the sun was no more, instead, it was replaced by the white sphere, illuminating with its soothing light.

Veru once again grabbed the pole, and with caution, he climbed it down.

His movements were swift, his body didn't tremble anymore, for he had overcome the biggest hurdle.

"Dhupppp…."

He landed on the lush green blades of grass, slitting the tiny droplets over them.

He looked at the dark sky and the glowing sphere, as he rushed through behind the bushes towards the white-haired girl, accompanied by the brown-eyed boy.
