And of course new enemies around every corner from the mindless monsters of the world to the diabolical powers behind everything. And maybe even find time to unlock the secret of the Arrived, if he lives that long.

"I thought I told you all to stay out of this!" Sael grumbled but couldn't help but feel relieved that he had help.

"We can talk later about how stupid you are to even think we would comply with something like that." Erica's voice spoke out from his ring. "Right now we are using up every bit of the ammunition left for that woman… Jess's weapons. Mamor and the other dwarves are in charge until the munitions are exhausted. We have the Moon Clan working together for an elemental assault when that happens. It isn't much but we will do what we can."

Sael could hear in her tone that she was pushing up her glasses. "That is more than enough." He patted Ara's hand where she was still holding on to him. She squeezed him once before letting him go. Silvery mist gathered around him as he vanished from sight.
