Chapter 3- School Day 1

<Pls Enjoy.>

-Sam's POV-

After my conversation with the system, I set off for school on my bike. It was a beautiful morning, and the wind gently caressed my face as I pedaled forward. As I rode, I couldn't help but notice how uncommon it was for students to bike to school these days. Most of them relied on cars or buses for their daily commute.

I chuckled to myself, thinking about where I could leave my bike. It seemed like nobody in my school rode one, so I was unsure where to park it.

[User, you can park your bike near the fence and lock it there. Afterwards, inform the office of its presence.]

'Thanks, System,' I thought gratefully as I sped across the road, following its instructions.

-3rd Person POV-

Sam's short brown hair swayed in rhythm with his movement, his dark blue eyes focused on the path ahead. Standing at an average height of 5'5", he blended in among his peers. While he couldn't boast of having protagonist-like anime hair, he still possessed a charm of his own.

'Hopefully, I won't stand out too much,' Sam thought to himself with a sweat drop forming on his forehead.

Fifteen minutes later, Sam arrived at his destination. He parked his bike near the school gate, locking it securely to the fence. Surprisingly, he didn't find himself sweating profusely, which he attributed to his regular physical exercise and overall fitness. Taking a moment to appreciate his well-being, he made his way towards the main office to inform them about his bike.

After a brief exchange with the office staff, Sam obtained permission and a pass. Glancing at the clock, he realized that the first class would begin in five minutes. Determined not to be late, he quickened his pace.

His first class of the day was English, a subject he thoroughly enjoyed. However, he couldn't help but feel a tinge of disappointment as he realized that he didn't have any close friends in that particular class.

-Second Period-

Sam's second class was World History, which he found rather dull. While he considered the coursework manageable, the long lectures often tested his attention span.

In this class, he had two acquaintances. The first was Erick, a student who seemed to be absent more often than not, making it challenging for Sam to remember his last name. The second was Goto Ayiages, a Japanese student who had moved to the neighborhood a couple of years ago. Goto was always engrossed in his phone but remained a diligent student despite his distractions.

As the bell rang, signaling the beginning of the class, Goto promptly excused himself, heading towards the restroom as he often did.

-Sam's POV-

'Now that Goto's gone, I can try using the Observe skill,' I thought, turning my attention towards our teacher, Mr. Charles Grant. Focusing my mind on the word 'Observe,' I activated the skill.

[Name: Charles Grant]

[Age: 47]

[DOB: October 15th, 1975]

[Height: 5'4"]

[Weight: 197 Pounds]

[Mood: Excited (Fake), Motivated, Tired]

The system provided me with a detailed overview of Mr. Grant's information. I couldn't help but smirk at the note about his faked excitement in the mood section. Curiosity piqued, I decided to explore further.

'Open for more details,' I thought, and the system responded, revealing Mr. Grant's skills.

[Passive Skills]

[Acting- Intermediate Level 4]

[Leadership- Intermediate Level 2]

[Teaching- Expert Level 9]

[Tech Usage (2000s)- Intermediate Level 3]

"No wonder his teaching skill is so high," I mused, impressed by Mr. Grant's extensive experience in the field. The acting skill explained the 'fake' tag next to his excitement level. With newfound insights, I opened my binder and prepared to listen to his lecture.

-Third Period-

I stretched as I entered my third-period class, Home Economics. It was a more relaxed and leisurely class, a welcome change from the more intense subjects. I glanced at our teacher, Ms. Riley Anderson Bates, as she prepared for the day's lesson.

Using the Observe skill, I obtained her details.

[Name: Riley Anderson Bates]

[Age: 33]

[DOB: June 17th, 1989]

[Height: 5'3"]

[Weight: 164 Pounds]

[Mood: Happy, Calm, Joyful]

Curious about her skills, I pondered, "Open for more details." The system obliged, displaying her skills.

[Passive Skills]

[Cooking: Expert Level 2]

[Teaching: Intermediate Level 1]

[Musician (Percussion): Beginner Level 6]

[Dancing: Intermediate Level 8]

As my eyes scanned the screen, I noticed an unexpected skill among the list—[Yandere Aura- Intermediate Level 4]. I was taken aback, my mind struggling to comprehend how such a skill could exist in the real world.

"The passive skills make sense, but what's with that Yandere Aura?" I exclaimed internally. The system interjected, offering to provide more specific details about the skill. However, I declined, feeling unnerved by the concept. Zipping up my bag, I returned to my desk, ready to focus on the class at hand.

-After School Club Activities-

Classes had long since ended, and only the students involved in various clubs remained on campus. I, too, was part of a club—the Drama Club. While I had an interest in acting, I didn't want to steal the spotlight from others or draw attention to myself. Instead, I opted to join the lighting crew, working behind the scenes.

As my friends practiced their lines, I honed my skills operating the lighting equipment. Today, I was the only member of the lighting team present, taking advantage of the opportunity to perfect my techniques. The theater resonated with the sound of clicking switches and the soft hum of electricity as I worked diligently.

"We're taking a 10-minute break!" the stage director announced, signaling a pause in the activities.

"Thank you, 10!" we all responded in unison.

I continued tinkering with the lights, gazing at the wall with a focused expression. However, my concentration was interrupted by a knock on the door.

*Creak*

"Hey, Sam, you in there?" It was John Tralgait, one of my longtime friends who was also an actor in the play.

"Yeah, I'm here, John," I replied, turning towards the door as John entered the dimly lit room.

John observed the mesmerizing play of lights on the ceiling and couldn't help but express his awe. "Is this...?"

"These are the spotlights I'm providing for you guys. Make sure to shine brighter than ever," I said with a faint smile. John gazed at me, captivated by my dedication and talent, but soon shook his head, breaking the spell.

"Then you'll need to increase the power, or the lights will just fade into the background," John replied, determined to match my enthusiasm.

"Haha, let's hope so!" I exclaimed, feeling a surge of excitement. With renewed vigor, I turned my attention back to John, who had always been a source of support and encouragement. We exchanged a few more words, discussing our roles in the upcoming play and sharing our excitement for the final production. As the break came to an end, we both returned to our respective tasks, ready to give our best performances.

-On the Way Home-

As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow across the streets, I bid farewell to my club members and hopped on my bike, making my way home. The exhilaration of the day lingered in my mind as I pedaled with renewed energy.

"Tonight, I'll finally try out the Isekai feature," I thought, a mix of anticipation and curiosity filling my thoughts. The idea of embarking on a new adventure in another world ignited a fire within me.

As I crossed the street, I couldn't contain my excitement any longer. I voiced my thoughts aloud, declaring, "Let's get this show on the road!"

With each pedal stroke, my mind buzzed with possibilities, eager to delve into the unknown and discover what awaited me in the realm of isekai. The real world had its ups and downs, but the allure of extraordinary adventures beckoned, and I was ready to embrace them with open arms.

The journey back home seemed shorter than usual, fueled by my anticipation. As I arrived at my doorstep, I took a deep breath, savoring the moment before stepping inside. The door closed behind me, sealing the end of an ordinary day and signaling the beginning of a new chapter in my life.

With the evening stretching before me, I prepared myself for the initiation of the Isekai System. I found a quiet spot in my room, surrounded by familiar objects that brought me comfort. Taking a moment to center myself, I closed my eyes, focusing my thoughts on the system.

"System, I'm ready to activate the Isekai feature," I thought, my voice resonating within my mind.

[Understood, User Sam. Initiating the Isekai System.]

As the words echoed in my thoughts, a surge of energy enveloped me, transporting me from the mundane reality of my room to the limitless expanse of the unknown. I braced myself for the exhilarating adventure that awaited, ready to explore new worlds, face challenges, and make a difference in the lives of those I encountered.

Little did I know that this journey would test my courage, push my limits, and shape me into the person I was destined to become. With a resolute spirit and an unwavering determination, I stepped into the boundless realm of isekai, embracing the extraordinary path that lay ahead.

And so, my journey as an isekai traveler began, filled with wonders, trials, and the promise of growth. The real world had set the stage, providing me with the foundation and experiences necessary for the adventures that awaited in the vast tapestry of otherworldly realms.

With my heart pounding with excitement, I embarked on a path where the ordinary would intertwine with the extraordinary, and the impossible would become possible.
