Markus looked down into the seemingly bottomless dark abyss that he is about to descend into and pondered for a bit.

""Welp...nowhere to go but down I suppose...""

He said to himself, shrugging it off like it was nothing.

Since he wasn't exactly full on time since the entire tower might be on him soon, Markus didn't climb down the ladder like a normal person...

""Huey!''

...Instead he hurled himself straight down into the unknown with reckless abandon.

As he was falling Markus thought to himself.

((Damn...this is a long ladder, I wonder if these mages can even use ladders when with arms like that...)) Markus wondered why the mages would install a ladder here instead of some kind of magic elevator.

After a full 5 minutes or so of falling Markus could finally see the bottom.

Markus used an arcane spell to manipulate his own vectors and broke his fall.

He landed on his feet just like a cat.
