2 : The Escape

Tony got into the Mark One with the help of Yinsen. The Ten Rings detected Tony's absenteeism and two of them rushed towards them but they were blasted by the door bomb.

Yinsen "Tony we don't have enough time let me buy some for you."

"No Yinsen you promised that we will get out together and stay here, your family is waiting for you to return."

Yinsen smiled and turned away "I am going to them."

Tony was startled and no words could come out of his mouth to stop Yinsen.

Yinsen then rushed in another direction while firing wildly killing and being killed.

Tony had his head lowered with regret and helplessness and weakness.

There were bursts of bullets and shouts few men entered the room vigilantly.

Suddenly an iron bump came from the dark scaring the shit out of them. They started to fire wildly which was of no effect to Tony while his punches were enough to kill with ease. The terrorists soon became a bunch of corpses.

Tony then moved out with the help of sonic radar and started his killing spree he didn't even need to use the flamethrower orSonicc cannon. As Tony finally saw sunlight after days he was immediately greeted by a rain of bullets.

ding ding ding

After a while, the bullets stopped.

Tony "Now my turn."

This was the time to test the effectiveness of the sonic cannon.

Two speaker machines glowed and sonic booms sounded all the terrorists were thrown back while some blasted into scum. Tony nodded as it was stated that a sonic cannon could bring down a building.

As Tony started to wreak havoc he saw a body that was shot in the head and stopped.

"Your soul shall rest in peace Yinsen."

Then he looked around and saw every ammunition here had the name Stark Industry which made his face ugly. Tony then made a decision and started to burn the ammunition. Afterwards, he changed the mode of the flamethrower and lifted off towards the sky.

While in air Tony remebered that he didn't had time to upload the landing program. Soon the Fuel was emptied and he was in a free fall.

'AAAAAAAAahhhh

Bang

The dust was lifted up.

But Thankfully the Iron bump absorbed most of the damage leaving Tony with only minor injuries.

*Cough Cough

Tony then idenified direction and started walking towards it. Thankfully due to his explosion of ammunition his location was identified and soon Rody came to rescue him.

Hearing the sound of helicopter Tony excited started to wave at them. The Pilot noticed him and hovered near him. Soon Rhodey came down and hugged him.

"Next time you are coming with me."

Tony nodded and had a good sleep in the plane.

Back to New York

California Military Base where a giant plane has just landed. Medical, Happy, and Pepper are waiting there. The ramp lowers and Rhodey helps Tony down.

Tony looked at Pepper and teased "Your eyes are red. A few tears for your long-lost boss?"

Pepper smiled "Tears of Joy .Job hunting is pain."

Tony "Yeah, vacation's over."

Tony, Pepper, and Happy get into the car.

Happy "Where to, sir?"

Pepper "Take us to the hospital, please, Happy."

Tony Stark "No."

Pepper Potts "No? Tony, you have to go to the hospital." Pepper frowned thinking about his bad habit.

Tony Stark "No is a complete answer"

Pepper Potts "The doctor has to look at you"

Tony Stark "I don't have to do anything. I've been in captivity for three months. There are two things I want to do. I want an American cheeseburger, and the other..."

Pepper "That's enough of that." Pepper said with little anger

Tony "...is not what you think. I want you to call for a press conference now."

Pepper "Call for a press conference?"

Tony "Yeah."

Pepper "What on earth for?"

Tony "Hogan, drive. Cheeseburger first."

Happy drives them up to Stark Industries HQ, where Obadiah is waiting with the press and their employees.

Obadiah "Look at this! Tony. We were going to meet at the hospital."

Tony Stark said nonchalantly " No, I'm fine."

Obadiah "Look at you! You had to have a burger, yeah?"

Tony Stark "Well, come on."

Obadiah "You get me one of those?"

Tony Stark "There's only one left. I need it."

Obadiah "Hey, look who's here! Yeah!

Coulson walked upto Pepper "Miss Potts?"

Pepper "Yes."

Coulson "Can I speak to you for a moment?"

Pepper replied thinking this as a normal "I'm not part of the press conference, but it's about to begin right now."

Coulson"I'm not a reporter. I'm Agent Phil Coulson, with the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division."

Pepper "That's quite a mouthful"

Coulson "I know. We're working on it."

Pepper "You know, we've been approached already by the FBI, the CIA..."

Coulson "We're a separate division with a more specific focus. We need to debrief Mr. Stark about the circumstances of his escape.

Pepper "I'll make an appointment, shall I?"

Coulson "Thank you."

Press Conference

Tony said while sitting down"Hey, would it be all right if everyone sat down?" "Why don't you just sit down? That way you can see me, and I can... A little less formal and..."

Tony takes a bite of his cheeseburger as everyone sits, or squats down

Tony "Good to see you."

Tony Stark " I never got to say goodbye to Dad. I never got to say goodbye to my father. There's questions that I would have asked him. I would have asked him how he felt about what this company did. If he was conflicted, if he ever had doubts. Or maybe he was every inch the man we all remember from the newsreels. I saw young Americans killed by the very weapons I created to defend them and protect them. And I saw that I had become part of a system that is comfortable with zero accountability."

Reporters "Mr. Stark!"

Tony "Hey, Ben."

Reporter (Ben)" What happened over there?"

Tony stands and moves behind the podium.

Tony "I had my eyes opened. I came to realize that I have more to offer this world than just making things that blow up. And that is why, effective immediately, I am shutting down the weapons manufacturing division of Stark International.

Everyone stands up in commotion.
