Chapter 1: who is she?

Ito was waking up on a monday morning with a sigh this was his 11th grade year and yet he felt like nothing changed. Getting out of bed just to start the day with usual morning routines washing his face, brushing his teeth and getting ready for school. As any day his father called out to him to come down stairs " ITO! BREAKFAST IS READY!!" he gave himself one more glance into the mirror without answering his fathers calling. He started to smell something burning as he ran downstairs in a quick hurry "DAAAAAD!?" His dad turned around quickly realizing that he was burning the food trying to put the flames out, ito took action and snatched the pan off the stove putting it in the sink and running water over it. Once the fire died down he looked over at his father who gave a sigh of relief and a goofy little smile ito couldn't help but roll his eyes before speaking "you could have burned the whole house down! I told you I can cook for myself!" he tried to keep his annoyance under control as father looked abit sad drifting his focus to the picture of his deceased wife "ito…i know it's been hard these past few years but-" ito cut his father off in mid sentence leaving "it's whatever dad i gotta go to school.." ito said trying to avoid the topic his father just gave ito a little weak smile before watching his son leave for the day. Ito was a tall slim guy with natural red hair so he stuck out from all the other kids which made him feel pretty isolated. Walking to school ito ran into his old friend tomio. "What's up ito!?" Tomio said running up to ito waving ito smiled and answered "same old shoes, just different socks!" Tomio put his arm around ito as they walked to school together laughing and talking. The school bell rang and both started to make a run for class once they made it in the school building. Making it with 1 minute to spare they took their seats but noticed how everyone in the class was gossiping about a new student ito couldn't care less as class started. Afew hours went by and it was lunchtime ito was standing in the hallway with Tomio and his other friends talking about the homework. Tomio did nothing but complain "this amount of homework is unbelieve! I'll be a dead fish by the time summer break comes! I really wanted to go check out the ladies at the karaoke bar too! This is so un-``Tomio was interrupted by a teacher yelling "STOP RIGHT THERE!" ito quickly looked over to see a brown haired girl run and leap into the air at that moment the earth stood still for ito as he looked at her she looked at ito only to smirk at him when they made eye contact before landing her leap and continuing to run ito surprised by what just happened didn't know if he should focus on the fact that she was running like a maniac through the school or the fact that she had different colored eyes. Ito snapped back into reality once he heard tomio's finger snapping "Ito? ITO?" ito blinked looking at tomio "huh?" Tomio looked irritated. "Did you see that crazy girl leap in front of you? God what a weirdo… did see her eyes too? I don't know if it was just me but I'm sure she's the new student everyone was talking about… i think her name was..mei aisaka.." ito was too stunted to speak. The only thing he was able to say under his breath was "huh…mei aisaka…"
