No means No

Yun Che gathered medicinal herbs from around the area and prepared pills for Cang Yue with the help of Sky Poison Pearl. Cang Yue's injures and scars were mostly gone now and her body was as good as before if not better.

Yun Che had to stay for about 2 days in the Phoenix Clan for Cang Yue to fully recover her strength. In the meantime, he was always around her, not to make her feel lonely.

Cang Yue these few days got to spend the blissful time of her life with Yun Che while Jasmine had to battle her inner jealously in the Sky Poison Pearl watching the duo. The poor pillow was shred into no one knows how many pieces.

Yun Che had to get many pillows for Jasmine each passing day.

On the 3rd day, Cang Yue was back to normal and they bid their farewell to the Phoenix Clan members. It was kinda emotional for them, especially the children who grew attached to Yun Che as time passed.

They wanted to protest Yun Che leaving but they also knew that they can't.

Yun Che promised to meet them soon which relighted their faces while some were still reluctant to part away.

--------

(Ten Thousand Beast Mountain Range)

Yun Che did not wear a cloak this time. And he and Cang Yue just left the Phoenix Clan and were walking side by side.

Yun Che was busy speaking to the Phoenix.

'Don't you want to stay with your Clan people?' asked Yun Che with his soul connection.

'Master..... I can't make myself stay with my inheritors and let them call me their God after what I did to them all these years. I feel guilty...' The Phoenix hung its head low in shame.

'Umm... But Master... I left them with a protection spell with whatever divine power was left with me. So, they wouldn't be in danger.'

"....Where are we heading to now?" Cang Yue had a beautiful smile bloomed on her face. She intertwined her fingers at the back and asked Yun Che cheerfully.

At first, she wanted Yun Che to join Blue Wind Palace as soon as possible. It was kinda selfish but she made herself do that to fulfill her father's last wish. But now, staying with Yun Che all these few days, she knew Yun Che is not that weak as she assumed. What's more, is that he is unlike any person she met.

And.... she grew more fond of him. One thing which she was sure of is that she didn't want to leave his side.

"Blue Wind Palace" answered Yun Che.

Cang Yue summoned her profound beast out. Her palm started glowing and a Giant Snow Eagle whose cultivation was around True Profound Realm emerged from within.

"This is my contract beast, Little Snow" introduced her pet to Yun Che.

The Giant Snow Eagle flapped its wings and was ready for them to get on.

"How long will it take to reach there?" asked Yun Che.

"If we set off at full speed and with all the breaks and nights, we could reach there in 4-7 days" replied Cang Yue calculating all the possibilities.

"Then, we wouldn't need it" said Yun Che shaking off his head.

Cang Yue unsummoned her Little Snow and was muddled.

"It will take too lon....."

Words that Cang Yue wanted to say were stuck in her throat when suddenly Yun Che lifted her up in a princess carry. The latter's mind was short-circuited.

Yun Che with his cultivation at Sky Profound Realm had no problem carrying Cang Yue to the Blue Wind Palace. And he also wanted to test out this profound floating technique.

Cang Yue cradled herself in Yun Che's arms with her hands tightly wrapped around Yun Che's neck and her head completely immersed on Yun Che's chest feeling embarrassed. This scene looked romantic as one could feel each other's breath on their bodies.

----------

(In the Sky Poison Pearl)

Jasmine once again glared at the new pillow which Yun Che picked it up for her this morning.

The pillow had imaginary sweat dripping from it.

-----------

Yun Che then took off from the Ten Thousand Beast Mountain Range with his full speed.

Cang Yue didn't notice her surroundings and was busily tranquilizing her heart which was pounding faster and faster as her face was very close to Yun Che.

Yun Che turned his profound handle invisible with his <Camouflage> skill and could make a thin barrier around himself. With it, he could negate the effects of air resistance and both Yun Che and Cang Yue were invisible to the outsiders.

Cang Yue soon calmed down and now and then started telling Yun Che of the locations in the Empire.

It took Yun Che around 4 hours to reach the Blue Wind Imperial City.

The Blue Wind Imperial City is the capital city of the Blue Wind Empire and home of the Blue Wind Imperial Family. It is located in the central-northern regions of the empire and is also its biggest city. Its area is more than thirty times the size of New Moon City. At the dead center of the imperial city is the imperial palace.

Yun Che safely landed on the ground and dismissed his profound handle. Cang Yue soon uncradled herself and stood beside Yun Che shyly running her fingers through her long hair which was moving lazily in the wind.

Both Yun Che and Cang Yue walked together to the Blue Wind Profound Palace.

The Blue Wind Profound Palace is Blue Wind Empire's greatest profound palace and located in Blue Wind Imperial City. It was established by the Blue Wind Imperial Family one thousand eight hundred years ago. It is directly supervised and supplied by the royal family.

The palace's interior is divided into three levels: Outer Palace, Middle Palace, and Inner Palace. The Outer Palace has fifty-four thousand disciples. The Middle Palace has three thousand. The Inner Palace has only a hundred disciples.

Compared to the other major sects in Blue Wind Empire, the Blue Wind Profound Palace's strength is minuscule. Nobody from the palace or the Blue Wind Imperial Family has ever been able to enter the top one hundred in the Blue Wind Ranking Tournament.

That is why Cang Yue had to go in search of talents around the Empire.

An elder who looked to be about sixty in age ran to Cang Yue. His face was flustered and revealed a tinge of anxiety and pleasure that could be seen in his clear eyes.

The elder was Qin Wuyou and is originally one of the elders of the Imperial Capital's Profound Palace. For many days there was no whereabouts of the princess, and he himself wanted to go search for her. But today all of his worries were lifted as the princess herself came back. He let out a sigh of relief.

"Princess, Where were you all this time?" asked Qin Wuyou in a minute voice so that no one aside from Cang Yue could hear her true identity.

"Elder Qin, I was searching for a member for the upcoming tournament" Cang Yue answered.

"Leave it, princess. Your Majesty has been asking for you all these days. His Majesty's health deteriorated and he wanted to meet you immediately." Qin Wuyou told with a glum face.

Cang Yue was startled and she quickly walked to her father's chambers not before telling Qin Wuyou to show around the place and to arrange a place for Yun Che to rest.

Qin Wuyou didn't mind it but he still didn't understand why the princess ordered him to take care of a junior. But he still obliged.

If Qin Wuyou has checked Yun Che's present cultivation, his mouth would be agape in shock thinking how could a man who looked to be around 18 years get that far.

Qin Wuyou arranged a room for Yun Che and took him around the whole Palace. He expected Yun Che's mood to elevate but all he got in return was a yawn.

Yun Che soon got bored and excused himself and was showed the way to his room by Qin Wuyou.

Yun Che entered the room and rested his body on the bed. Unlike in the Phoenix Clan, the bed was very comfy and he soon started to drift into his sleep.

His palm continued to flicker and a jealous and pouting Jasmine entered his vision which jolted him awake.

"Jasmine, Is anything wrong?" Yun Che quickly sat up and asked with a forced smile.

"Hmph! This princess wants a new pillow" Jasmine closed her eyes and demanded with a somewhat angry tone.

"Jasmine.... I already gave you your pillow for the day. Not any more now" Yun Che shook his head in denial.

"Why do you need so many anyway?" Yun Che narrowed his eyes and glared at Jasmine.

Jasmine had sweat pouring down her face. She can't say she just ripped them away in jealously, can she? It would look so childish.

'Looks like I have to use it' thought Jasmine seriously and planned to use her last resort.

"... please" Jasmine bent towards Yun Che and used her puppy dog eyes.

"No means no..."

Too bad even the legendary puppy dog eyes didn't work on Yun Che.

"Without a pillow, this princess can't go to sleep" Jasmine bawled.

Yun Che had enough of that and when he was about to lie down on the bed to get some sleep, a weight fell on his laps. Looking down, he saw Jasmine sleeping with her head leaning on his lap.

Yun Che gently ran his fingers through her hair caressing it and he himself felt drowsy and slept with his back facing the wall...

------------

A bird with dark yellow feathers could be seen tiredly flying in the sky.

'Master... Why did you leave me alone??!!'

The poor Phoenix was left away in the Ten Thousand Beast Mountain Range and had to fly all the way to Blue Wind Profound Palace.
