Chapter 26:Encounters and Misencounters 3

A cloud of dust, dirt and pieces of trees rises from the place that was hit by Cloud Fang. This cumulus obstructing the view of what happened quickly disperses, revealing the deep cut in the earth painted red and the reddish strands rising into the air. 

"We've lost him Kagome... Poor Inuyasha."

Crossing his arms and causing a few tears to fall from the corner of his eyes, the little fox accepts Inuyasha's defeat easily. 

"Shippo is right, Miss Kagome. The best thing would be to run away and consummate our love in the distance."

Appearing from somewhere in time, a young man with black hair, violet robe and black sleeves, as well as holding a staff in his hand, makes his appearance at Kagome's side. He touches his chin while nodding to himself as if it was the best idea he had just mentioned.

"Shippo and so are you, Miroku. why aren't you helping him!"

Removing the fox from her head and admonishing the monk, she tries to guide her hands to the bow on her back before she is stopped by Miroku. 

"No, Miss Kagome. They are two animals fighting to prove who is the alpha, interfering now would be an embarrassment to Inuyasha like when he meets his brother."

Both the fox and the monk begin to slowly bob their heads up and down at the same time, leaving Kagome shocked at their current coordination. 

"¡Damn them!"

Emerging from some rubble in the distance, Inuyasha gets back to his feet without any injuries and the first thing he does is start a discussion with the group standing quite a ways away from their crash site. 

Christopher pov.

It was a very awkward situation, like when you go to a party and you don't know anyone. Because yes, these idiots are ignoring me while rubbing their friendship in my face, making me feel like a loner. 

Feeling a vein swell in my forehead from this situation, I extended my seven tails in all directions before igniting them into flames and took control of them so that they become 10cm spheres that start floating close to my body. Finishing that, I squeeze clouded fang lightly and hit the ground to quickly advance towards Inuyasha, who is still in a verbal fight with his group of friends. 

*Shingg*

Sparks fly from the clash between our swords, though this one finishes him off quickly by pushing me back, but before he can continue with his movements, the fire spheres explode in his vicinity, leaving him staggering and taking advantage of that I stop my move away by nailing my feet to the ground, then return to the attack. 

*Shingg* *Shingg* *Shingg* *Shingg* *Shingg*

Attempting to cut him diagonally with Clouded fang, he places his sword vertically causing the full force of my blow to spread across his blade. Following that he raises his sword quickly raising my arm forcibly and consequently throws a kick in the direction of my thorax which I parried with one of my tails easily before entangling him with it and sending him flying into the forest.

*Boom*

"Ah, ah, ah, ah... Hahaha you're tricky."

Sucking in air erratically, I feel my body getting faster with each shock, the senses that I didn't use to their full potential before now start to show and little by little I'm getting better control of the racial skills I have. Well they say nothing better than a brainstorm, of course this one is about fists, but it works in a very similar way. 

"The same applies to you, I almost can't believe you're the same species as that dwarf."

Easily stepping out of some flaming trees that don't unleash smoke no matter how strange it may seem. Inuyasha compares me to that tanuki boy again, which is already starting to annoy me. 

"You know I'm a fox or Kitsune, whatever you want to call it. ¡But not a tanuki!"

"Hahaha. ¿Did you hear that Shippo? Even he thinks you're a raccoon"

Seeing how he uses my comment in a derogatory manner, connecting the dots to come to the conclusion wasn't difficult, though it does make me fall into certain doubts. Ignoring my existential doubts, Inuyasha again launches an attack, even though he was not supposed to do anything in this situation and even wanted to watch the future development of the situation.

*Boom*

An arrow with deep pink aura shoots out from the forest, it hits the blade of his sword and makes his attacks deflect to the side while leaving him unprotected. Taking advantage of this situation, I entangle one of my tails around his waist before throwing him towards his group, which seems to be coming this way. 

"¡Inuyasha!"

"It's okay, Miss Kagome. They're just small cuts that will heal with a little rest."

The schoolgirl knelt down on the ground near where Inuyasha is lying, while on the other hand, the monk keeps watching vigilantly towards our direction while talking calmly to Kagome. 

"¿Are you done talking?"

Giving Inuyasha's group a look, he squeezed Cloud Fang tighter than the last few times before putting it away and looked towards a branch on which Kikyo was standing. This one is wearing a brand new priestess outfit without any imperfections, she carries a wooden longbow that has a red hue and its hilt that is in the center is white in color. 

"Yes... it's time to go."

Speaking a few words, even less than the last few days. He jumps down from the tree before starting to walk away walking through the flames, though he stops briefly when he hears a shout coming from Inuyasha's group. 

"¡Kikyo!"

Lifting his body from the crater he's in, he begins to run at full speed towards my direction, or more accurately to where Kikyo is. Obviously, I get out of the way, lest she see me as an enemy to defeat in order to get her perfect love or something. 

*boom*

Passing me again, an arrow with a soft pink aura hits in front of Inuyasha, sending debris flying through the air, but mostly a silent warning about not moving forward.

"Kikyo, it was Naraku, he tricked us both!"

"¡Kikyo!"
