"Your brother?!" The members of team Asuma exclaimed in shock, even Choji was too shocked to focus on the food.

Kaito was the focus of stares from Shikamaru, Ino and Choji. "I was like that at first." Sakura muttered upon seeing their reaction.

Naruto had just finished explaining the situation and their reactions were more than understandable.

Ino was quickly looking between Naruto and Kaito. "I guess I can see the resemblance." She admitted.

"Danzo, what a troublesome guy. At least Lady Tsunade now has him in custody." Shikamaru complained.

"Granny Tsunade said they have to question him before they can do anything else with him." Naruto grumbled as Choji began turning the meat on the grill on the table.

"All this talking is making me hungry." Choji said, a line of drool leaving his lips.

Kaito's eyes twitched at the sight. 'Now that's just gross.' He thought, trying to look anywhere but the boy.

He looked away as Ino picked up a small plate, picking up strips of meat from the grill and placing it on the plate before placing said plate in front of him.

Sakura deadpanned at Ino's bold actions. "Ino, what are you trying to do?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about." The blonde girl defended with a smile.

"All right! Time to eat!" Choji exclaimed, raising a piece of meat to his mouth.

"Hey, Choji!!!" Ino screamed, forcing the boy to freeze mid-motion. "We have to introduce ourselves to Kaito before we eat."

"Oh, oh…right."

"What a troublesome woman." Shikamaru muttered.

"Was she always like this?" Naruto asked cluelessly.

"Huh? Well it's obvious that sh-" Shikamaru started only for Ino's attention to move to him. "Never mind."

Naruto could only look cluelessly at what was happening while Sakura only sighed.

-[Later]-

"I've never seen Ino so enthusiastic before. What's up with that?" Naruto asked in confusion as they walked into the Konoha hospital.

"Don't tell me you're that dense." Kaito muttered, drawing a sheepish laugh from Sakura.

"He's worse." She said.

"What are you two talking about?" Naruto questioned, causing them to level him a dry stare. "What?"

"I thought we were doing a tour, why are we in the hospital?" Kaito asked as they made their way up the stairs.

"We're going to see Kakashi-sensei. He got injured a while ago." Naruto answered as they got to the room they were looking for.

*Knock* *Knock*

They entered a moment later after knocking. "Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto called out only to pause as he saw Jiraiya standing by the window. "Pervy sage? What are you doing here?"

"Oh you're here. That saves me the stress of looking for you." Jiraiya said as Kaito focused on the white haired masked man who was seated upright on the hospital bed.

Kakashi's attention had stayed on Kaito from the moment he walked into view, his eyes widening a bit. "You weren't kidding. He really looks like Kushina." He muttered.

"Kakashi-sensei, this is-"

"I already heard about it from Jiraiya here. I'm still having trouble believing it." Kakashi said, interrupting Naruto. "So you're Kaito."

"It's nice to meet you." Kaito greeted, not really having anything else to say.

At this point, he almost preferred studying [Fuinjutsu] to how he was currently being tossed around like a new toy…almost.

"I never thought something like this could happen but here we are." Kakashi muttered lazily but Kaito could see it in the man's eyes.

He was anything but unbothered from how serious they looked. "Where is your last team member?"

"He was one of Danzo's subordinates so he's being interrogated." Jiraiya answered for them, causing Kakashi to sigh.

"Well enough of that. It's nice to meet you too Kaito." Kakashi said sincerely.

"Kakashi-sensei…about our mission…" Naruto started unsurely as he began to tell Kakashi about their mission to meet Sasori's spy only to end up eventually meeting Sasuke.

Kaito turned to Sakura. "Who's Sasuke?" He has to keep up appearances after all.

"He…he was the last member of team seven before he left…" Sakura explained sadly.

Kaito could only nod at her explanation. He couldn't pretend to understand how they were feeling nor would he act like he did.

Had it been him, he'd have left Sasuke to his own devices long ago. You can't force someone who doesn't want to come back or they'll just run away again. Unless his plan was to put Sasuke in a prison, I don't see how he expected the Uchiha to stay.

That wasn't even taking loyalty into consideration. In the end, he chose to stay silent as Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi discussed.

"While you three are doing that, Kaito, follow me. I want to show you something." Jiraiya said, leaping out of the window.

He wasn't the only one in the room who was confused but he followed along either way. With a hand seal, he appeared beside Jiraiya.

"I forgot you marked me with that." The white haired man said with a dry expression.

"What are we doing up here?" Kaito couldn't help but ask.

Jiraiya was silent for a moment before he spoke."You're aware that you are the fourth Hokage's son." He said in a questioning manner, causing Kaito to nod his head.

"Though you've learnt the jutsu that made him well known, you're still missing something. Minato created it. I can use it and so can Naruto." He said, raising a palm, facing it upwards.

'Is this what I think it is?' Kaito wondered only for his thoughts to be confirmed the next second as a spiraling ball of chakra formed above Jiraiya's palm.

"Minato's original jutsu, the Rasengan." He announced as the jutsu continued to spin in his palm. "This is what I'll be teaching you."

Kaito's look of surprise came from the fact that the man was teaching him the jutsu already. 'Or is there something else?' He thought as he considered everything so far.

To their knowledge, he had learnt and nearly mastered the flying thunder god jutsu in a month. A jutsu that Jonins had failed to even grasp in more than twice of that time.

He drew one simple conclusion. Jiraiya wanted to see just how long it would take him to learn it. It worked better for him either way. If he learnt jutsu at a fast pace, he could focus on learning and perfecting more of them.

"Impressed, aren't you?" Jiraiya said with a grin as he pulled out a scroll.

Unsealing it, a decent amount of water balloons appeared in a puff of smoke. Picking one of them, Jiraiya began to explain.

"The first step is to pop this water balloon using only chakra." He started as the balloon began to shake and expand in different directions before it popped.

*Pop!*

"For this, you're going to accumulate and maintain chakra in your hand like in the tree climbing exercise. Wait a minute. Have you done th-" he was interrupted by a familiar sound.

*Pop!* * Splash!*

"Huh?" He looked at Kaito's hand which was wet from the water balloon that just popped in his hand. "Huh?!"

Kaito's attention was on the screen in front of his eyes.
