4 Chapter 4: Long waited arrival

During the battle of Tien and Saibamen-

*fighting noise*

'It was hard for the first few seconds to see where these two are but now I can see everything clearly.

Not only that, but I can also remember all the battles that Vegeta had participated in so far and how he fights.'

As Kei watched the battle unfolding in front of his eyes, he is slowly remembering Vegeta's past and how he fights but something is bugging him as if someone is trying to reject him.

All of Vegeta's experience is coming into Kei's mind and he is feeling as if he can use all those special attacks that Vegeta used so far

It's not like he became happy about it as he still can't defeat Frieze but at least he is confident in subduing Nappa if something wrong happens.

'it should have been better if these memories had come to my mind when I was in the pod, but whatever… let's think of testing some of Vegeta's skills to make sure that I can use his skills for real.'

As we have seen in the original story, The Dragon team is much stronger than Saibamens, the results are pretty much clear to Kei.

Even though Kei wanted no one to die, the story followed its plot one way or another

The first Saibamen to lose the battle lost his life at the hands of Nappa for underestimating his enemies

The 2nd saibamen suicide with Yamcha and Krillin killed almost all Saibamen with his Scattering Bullet, the last left Saibamen tried to kill Gohan but it was killed by Piccolo

*whoosh*

*heavy breathing*

Dust filled the whole area while Krillin takes a deep breath as he is feeling tired from his attack, all Saibamens are killed by him and the last one was killed by Piccolo

Piccolo and others are impressed by Krillin's growth in strength, they all are happy as they believed that they have won the battle and Krillin's attack has killed the two Saiyans.

BUT

Their happiness didn't last long when they heard the voice of Saiyans again

"It was an impressive attack"

"Yes, it was but useless against

Then again, what can you expect from such a low race ahahaa"

With Nappa's laughter, the dust clears away and the Dragon Team saw the two Saiyans standing all calm, totally unfazed by the attack of Krillin's

'That… was a close call'

Just before Krillin's attack was about to land on Kei, with all of his might- Kei called forth his energy to cover himself because his whole body was telling him that he will die if he didn't do anything

Kei was looking for something to test if he can use the memories of Vegeta as if he is true Vegeta but he didn't expect the chance to come so fast and that too this dangerous one.

But before the attack could land on him, his desperate call was answered by his body, and an energy barrier formed around him which was able to block the attack.

Kei was shocked to his core when he saw the attack coming at him and he was scared for good but still, he maintained his composure because he didn't become that worried.

"What?"

The dragon team is shocked to see two Saiyans completely unfazed

"AHAHAA there is no need to be so surprised

We are the elite warrior race; your puny attacks won't do much against us.

Now then, shall we start our own fun?" Nappa asks as he licks his lips, his expression is evil and it is clear that he wants to kill them.

"Nappa, you are free to have your fun with them but make sure you don't kill that kid as he is one of our race" Kei tells Nappa

Nappa is surprised to hear this as this is the first time Vegeta has shown some sympathy for someone, that too a kid from his own race.

"This is strange, this is my first time seeing you care for someone"

Nappa is confused right now

Kei smiled, he said "You have the wrong idea

I don't care if you beat him to the death, but make sure you don't kill him as I got some other plans for him.

As I said, you can have your fun"

Even though Kei smiled normally, his smile still excluded an aura of an evil person and Nappa became really happy to hear that.

Kei knows that in the original story, Vegeta asks Nappa to not kill Piccolo, the reason why he changed the request from Piccolo to Gohan is that he didn't want to make a bad impression on Goku who will break Nappa's bone when he will try to kill Gohan.

Nappa didn't question them as he is now free to do whatever he wants to do with them.

Truth be told, Kei wanted to give some other orders to Nappa which consisted of him not killing anyone but considering how many times he has stopped him from causing destruction and Nappa seeing such a sudden change in him

It could be dangerous if he didn't let him kill others.

And also, they all can be revived with Dragon Balls so… Kei let Nappa do whatever he wants to against Dragon Team.

Kei is still true to his principles, but something has changed in him and he has noticed it when he is easily passing orders about killing others, but what is it?

"ahahaha let's begin"

*whoosh*

*boom*

With Nappa's evil laugh, the battle begins and as expected, Nappa is stronger than the whole Dragon Team and also quite Durable.

The battle unfolded as it was seen in the anime, with Nappa overpowering everyone and then the plan to grab the tail, Krillin using his Destructo Disc, and the death of Piccolo.

Everything unfolded exactly as the anime even though Kei tried to change it.

There were times when Kei wanted to meddle in the battle but he didn't because… even though he now can use all powers and skills of Vegeta, he still needs to get used to it before he gets into the battlefield.

Also, Nappa was really enraged, and to calm him down, Kei would have needed to show his dominance with his aura or anything else.

Not just that, Kei is also noticing a change in him and that is him being slightly happy when Nappa killed Tien and Piccolo

Even when Chiatzu sacrificed for the sake of his friends, then also Kei didn't feel much about it and this shocked him a lot

Making him question, what is going on inside him.

'Is this due to Vegeta's character? is this body rejecting me or maybe trying to control me?'

Kei holds his own view about the world, he is a person who is from a peaceful country from another world, thus he cares about the life of others and that is why he stopped Nappa from destroying the east city.

But

Right now, he is enjoying the death of others

How is that possible?

Did he go against his own principles?

"ahahaa, this is the future of you pathetic ants

There is no need to be so sad as I will send you all to him very soon" Napp said with his hysterical laughter

He is moving toward Gohan who was fighting against him till now, but when he was about to take another step

"Nappa, did you forget what I told you?" Kei asks Nappa, his voice is clearly indicating his anger and it has made Nappa stop his steps

At the same time-

*whooosh*

"What was that?"

"He is here"

Kei looks in the distance as he sensed someone's presence and so the hope of Dragon Teams appears right in front of their eyes

"You really kept us waiting, Kakarot"
