Rayleigh and Training begins.

The next day when Xavier got down after his sleep, he could see Rayleigh sitting in the table towards the window.

Xavier: {"Did she not say two days? I don't think a day has passed."}

Rayleigh: "Well, someone has pulled stunt it seems."

Xavier: "Yes, you going to give advice?"

Rayleigh: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, not even a day you have been here, you already went against a Celestial Dragon. HAHAHAHAHA." And drinking beer if he was not wrong after saying that.

Rayleigh: "Shakky brought me up too everything you have told her about you. Did you try finding your parents?"

Xavier: "I…" he wanted to say something but he started to stutter. Then he talked

Xavier: "I don't even know how they look and it's not like they left me in the greatest place ever in this world."

Rayleigh could see that there was anger in his heart, his parents did not do a good thing. He also has no clue whether they are alive or dead.

Rayleigh: "We have to leave Sabaody, if I am not wrong an Admiral from Marine will be here today."

Xavier: "Okay."

Rayleigh: "Bring your friend as well, I will be training the both of you for the next 1 or 2 years and when I feel I have taught you enough I will be leaving you both to train there."

Xavier: "Where are we going?"

Rayleigh: "Rusukaina Island."

Xavier: "Where is it located?"

Rayleigh: "Near Amazon Lily."

Xavier: "Alright."

Van also came down and he could see that Xavier and Rayleigh were talking about something personal so he did not interrupt them.

Xavier then called out to Van and told him about the plan on what they are going to do.

Xavier: "Do you have anything to do before leave?"

Van: "No captain."

Xavier: "I already told you, you don't need to call me that."

Van did not reply to him and turned to Rayleigh: "It's a pleasure to meet someone of your level, sir Rayleigh. Never thought my Fate with captain will allow me to meet you."

Rayleigh: "HAHAHAHAHAHA, fate ah kid. I am just old man Ray now, you can meet me any time you like. Now that you're the first crew mate of my Grandson."

Rayleigh: "Alright then meet me at the shore, I will talk with Shakky and get there."

Rayleigh then gave a paper to Xavier and asked him to follow this route.

Xavier and Van turned to Shakky and bowed towards her.

Xavier: "Thank you."

Xavier and Van then left the bar and started to follow the path that Rayleigh gave them.

Shakky: "What are you going to do?"

Rayleigh: "Like I told him I will be training him and I will also have to figure out if his parents are alive or not. If they are, I will let him know and if confirmed dead I will say that too."

Shakky: "Hmm… alright. Go on don't keep them waiting."

Rayleigh also went out and just disappeared from there.

Xavier and Van reached the place where Rayleigh sent them to. He could see a small ship near the shore.

Xavier and Van went in.

In the next few minutes, they were done looking at the ship and Rayleigh also came to the ship.

Rayleigh: "Well then shall we set sail now."

Rayleigh then threw his bottle and not even seconds later after the bottle hit the water.

A sea king came out and looked towards the direction to where Rayleigh was.

It then took the rope of the ship and started to pull the ship.

Both Van and Xavier had to hold on to the ship as the ship suddenly started to move so fast.

Xavier: "You could have given us a warning OLD MAN."

Rayleigh: "HAHAHAHAHAHA, you will die if you don't look after yourself and your friends' kid. Take this as the first lesson. HAHAHAHA."

Van: "Lesson noted."

As they were sailing a marine ship started to follow them as well.

Rayleigh: "Show me what you can do."

Xavier and Van hearing this got themselves ready to fight.

Van with his Gun already started to shoot at the Marine, he killed four of them with just one shot.

Xavier started to use Partial Transformation and turned himself to a Dragon.

The Marines seeing this were scared to their core.

Xavier flew in the air and released a devastating breath of flames from his mouth towards the ship.

The Marine also started to attack him with their guns and cannon balls.

The flames the moment it touched the Cannon ball I blasted with a BOOOM. But the breath never stopped and reached the Marine ship.

Few of the soldiers were directly burn to death and the ship got destroyed in a few seconds.

When Xavier thought it was over a fist filled with Magma and Armament Haki came towards him.

Xavier did not even sense the attack and before the attack was going to hit him, a sword blocked it.

Rayleigh started to move when he sensed Akainu and headed to where Xavier was within a second to block the attack.

With that block came a wave of power and Xavier was pushed back in the air.

Rayleigh: "Go back."

Xavier then reverted to normal with wings on his back and landed on the ship.

Rayleigh: "Hmm… Did not expect you will reach here soon."

Akainu: "Move old man, all I want is the kid."

Rayleigh without talking just coated his sword in Armament Haki and attacked Akainu.

Akainu seeing this coated himself fully in Armament Haki to fight against him.

All others could see where Magma and black lightnings that were produced from Rayleigh's sword clashing with each other.

Waves were produced each time their sword and fist met.

After few minutes Rayleigh decided it was enough and coated his sword in Conqueror's Haki and released a sword wave with terrifying might towards Akainu. The sky turned dark with the pressure emanating from the attack that Rayleigh released. Sounds of Thunder and lightning came along with it.

Akainu seeing this gritted his teeth and he then used his signature Meteor Volcano attack to block the coming sword wave.

The result was an explosion with crater forming in the ocean.

Akainu was blasted toward another Marine ship and Rayleigh just moved back to the ship, with small cuts and bruises.

Rayleigh: "It seems I still have it in me. HAHAHAHAHHA."

The Sea King started to travel more faster when it saw the attack and it escaped from the attack, it also escaped from not being sucked into that whole as the water was rushing to fill up the crater.

Akainu was injured as there was deep cut in his body with blood flowing down from it.

An attack with Conqueror's Haki imbued to it was not something everyone can take on.

His attack only stopped about 90% of Rayleigh's attack. Do know Rayleigh never fought with his power.

In three weeks, they reached Rusukaina Island.

In these three weeks that he spent time with Rayleigh, he grew close to him. Same could be said for Van as well.

Xavier also could see Van shooting down seagulls while sailing.

When asked why he did that, his reply was

Van Augur: "I have no problem in shooting them. This is a test of my skill on how much I improve. I don't kill all of them. Only the ones that had the fate to die, will die in my shots."

Xavier also asked what his goal.

Van Augur: "I am a strong believer of fate and I don't want fate to control me, I want to control fate. So, I can protect you, myself and the crew that will join us in our adventures."

What shocked Xavier was not the part where he wanted to control fate but when said he wanted to protect him in first and then himself.

Xavier: "I always thought of going alone in the sea but I know that I won't be able to achieve my goal alone. I decided to achieve my goal with the help of a crew that I complete forgot about my crewmate's goal. I don't know how to help you in achieve your goal as it is different from mine but do know this I will be there at all times and I will be there to help you."

Van Augur: "So do I captain."

Xavier had small talks like this with both Rayleigh and Van Augur.

Rayleigh also made them fight against Sea Kings that pops out here and then.

Rayleigh was also noting on how they are battling, their team work, they way use their powers.

Rayleigh came to conclusion that Van needs more training in close fights and with Observation Haki and Armament Haki his sniping shots will be deadly. For Xavier, he saw that Xavier is able to use All three kinds of Haki, but he wastes a lot of Haki as he has no proper efficiency in using them.

They were close to reaching the island.

Xavier and Van both could see the island.

Seeing it in the anime and seeing it with his eyes was absolutely different.

Xavier could fell fear increasing as he was nearing the island.

Same could be said for Van.

Van: "Captain, I believe our fate will end in this island."

Rayleigh: "HAHAHAHAHAHA. It can, HAHAHAHAHAHA."

Xavier: "Not helping old man."

When they reached the island, all three jumped into the island.

Xavier and Van started to follow Rayleigh as he was moving inside the island.

Rayleigh came to a stop in front of a huge tree.

He removed his coat and placed it near the tree.

Rayleigh: "Both of you can keep your weapons here."

Xavier had none and Van kept his sniper close to Rayleigh's coat.

Rayleigh: "Both of you listen. I am going to teach you Haki. I know you have it Xavier. But you don't have a proper efficiency in controlling it. Van, you know about Haki but you have not trained in it. Not many can train their Haki on their own, except some special cases like Xavier."

Rayleigh: "There are three types of Haki, Observation Haki, Armament Haki and finally Conqueror's Haki. The last one I rarely seen."

Rayleigh: "The power to be sensitive to your opponent's movement. That is Observation Haki. When you release your Observation Haki you will know everything that is there around you all animals, people and you will also know what they are going to do next and its advanced form will even let you see the future for few seconds."

Rayleigh: "Armament Haki is like coating yourself an armor around your body that can't be seen with your naked eyes. Logia Users cannot escape an attack through this. This will also increase your attack power. Its advanced form is Emission and Internal Destruction. Not many can do this, that does not mean it can't be done. Emission will allow you to increase your attack power to even higher levels that you can destroy mountains with. Internal Destruction will be an attack that will always harm your opponent heavily if your attack connects to him. In the fight with Akainu I used Emission which was the black lightnings that you could see when I was fighting with him."

Rayleigh: "Finally comes the Conqueror's Haki. This is the power to control others. It is the will of a user. You will impose your will in such a way that the people who are weak-willed will faint. This can be controlled but it cannot be trained. It is something that you have to grow on your own. It also has an advanced form where you can imbue your weapons with it similar to Armament Haki but do know it is very difficult. When two people who fight with it, their weapons won't even touch each other, but it will destroy islands and even split the sky. The last attack I used can be said as an example to how much damage occurs when you use it. The attack will contain your will and it will clash with others creating a devastating attack. Your "Will" will also be imposed on the world."

Xavier though he knew about Haki, though he has heard these words before, but hearing them now was completely different. He also knew Rayleigh never taught about the advanced form of Haki to Luffy. This might bring in changes he is excited about.

Van also knew about Haki but he never knew there could be so much that he did not know. This opened his eyes. He made up his mind to master both Observation and Armament Haki. He does not know whether he will be able to use Conqueror's Haki.

Rayleigh: "Alright, we shall begin."
