Chapter 131: After the celebration

When they arrived home, it was already dark. If they delayed a bit more, then they really can't see the road and need to push the bicycle back. When they enter the house, the two puppies immediately greet them. Bai Yi Yang then went to switch on all the lamp and it becomes bright.

"Finally home!" It was Bai Yi Ling who said this as she lied down on the living room floor. Bai Yi Yang laugh when she hear this, Bai Yi Ling must have endure it for a long time.

"Tired?" Bai Yi Yang ask. She also lied down next to Bai Yi Ling, they are staring at the ceiling now.

"Too many people, a bit noisy." Bai Yi Ling said. She is an introvert, the most introverted out of them siblings, followed by her and Bai Yi Chen. The three of them has a bit of that personality, unlike Bai Yi Mo and Bai Yi Fang who loves the crowd.

Bai Yi Mo and Bai Yi Fang is still excited, now they are playing with the puppies at the lawn, that's how much energy they have.

"What did you all talked about with Zhu Yao jiejie friends?" Bai Yi Chen ask came to them and sit next to the two sisters.

"Nothing much. About their job, problem and conflict at works, financial issue, houses, marriages…all that." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Adult problems?" Bai Yi Chen said.

"En, adult problems." Bai Yi Yang laugh at this statement.

"Ge, you know right, one of them is QiYing's teacher." Bai Yi Yang said. Bai Yi Chen become speechless and look at her. How, Yang Yang even befriend someone of a teacher level?

"I don't know about that, which one? Did you chat about that with that teacher too?" Bai Yi Chen said.

"The tall one, wearing boots. She is called Teacher Hong Min, Grade 12 class 2 homeroom teacher, teaching the seniors geography." Bai Yi Yang said.

"She…looks different." Bai Yi Chen said when he heard that name, no wonder he didn't recognise her. Even though Hong Min never taught them directly, it has been 2 years since they entered QiYing, so he have seen all the teachers at least.

After that, they chatted about the people that come, what they talked about who and which person this and that is. It was quite fun talking about people, that's why people enjoy gossiping.

"I think we are the one that most people talk about other than second uncle family." Bai Yi Yang chuckled.

"Right." Bai Yi Chen also smile, he is much more open minded now. Bai Yi Yang is right, they can't control what people want to say, it's up to them to be affected or not.

"I also hear them talking about us. When Grandma Zhou was drunk, she cried and talk about us to the other old ladies. I let her be and listen together." Bai Yi Ling suddenly add.

"Very well. Actually, we know that people will talk about us even behind our back, so it's better to hear it upfront and correct them with the facts. They will believe if they want, they won't believe if the don't." Bai Yi Yang said.

"En." Both Bai Yi Chen and Bai Yi Ling nod.

"Jie, what are we eating tonight?" The tired from playing Bai Yi Mo suddenly pop up and ask. He is covered with sweat and his face is red.

"Don't come in, you are dirty." Bai Yi Ling scold him when she saw Bai Yi Mo.

"You wanted to eat something? Not full?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"Want to eat something!" Bai Yi Fang also come over and said. Well, with the level they play, of course they will get hungry.

"How about some corn dogs?" Bai Yi Yang thought.

"Dog's meat?! We don't want to eat dog." The children who understand a bit English words was shocked. Bai Yi Yang falls to the ground laughing.

"It's not real dog. It's just the name." Bai Yi Yang said explaining.

"Then, is it delicious?" Bai Yi Mo ask.

"En. Let you have a taste later." Bai Yi Yang said.

She told her siblings to take a bath and she went to the kitchen to prepare the dough then cut the ingredients which is sausage and cheese. Bread crumbs and that's all.

She went to take a shower first before entering the kitchen again. Her siblings also gather at the kitchen and watch her make them.

"Why are you here?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"Just to make sure that jiejie didn't use dog meat." Bai Yi Mo said. Bai Yi Yang laugh again, she then start deep frying the corn dogs as cool it down under the fan while she fry the rest.

"Still too hot, you will get scalded if you become impatient." Bai Yi Ling warn her two younger siblings. The two monkeys will then calm down and look intently at the food. Bai Yi Chen is doing his homework at the dinner table while watching over her siblings. He took two plate for Bai Yi Mo and Bai Yi Fang, place one each on their plate.

"Blow on it. By the time your sister done, you can eat it." Bai Yi Chen said. The two children immediately listen to him and start blowing onto the hot corn dog.

"Ge, I want to join an English spelling bee competition. What do you think?" Bai Yi Ling ask Bai Yi Chen. She suddenly remember it. She wanted to ask her older siblings first before sending her name on Monday.

"Join it if you like." Bai Yi Chen look up from his homework and said. Bai Yi Ling also nod after that and that's all. Bai Yi Yang sigh at this conversation.

"Is it school level? When is the competition?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"School level. We will compete amongst student of same grade, the winner will represent the school to compete with other schools, then if you win you can go to the city to compete there. The school competition will be on Monday the week after next week." Bai Yi Ling said.

"That will be soon. What is your view on this?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"I just want to try out. If I do well at school level, then I will prepare. This time, I don't have much time." Bai Yi Ling said.

"En. Then take it easy. Just have fun." Bai Yi Yang said.

The Bai siblings have their night snacks after that. The children had fun pulling the cheese but they got full after eating one. Only Bai Yi Chen ate two. So Bai Yi Yang store it into the fridge first, they can heat it up tomorrow.

Like a previous Saturday night, Bai Yi Yang prepare a raw materials shopping list for Bai Yi Chen. But after doing this weekly, Bai Yi Chen almost know what to buy. Its just that Bai Yi Yang is the one that cooks, she knows what she need.

Other than that, Bai Yi Yang also have the habit of making order at Saturday night at G Supermarket, if she is occupied on Saturday, she will order on Sunday. Once a week grocery delivery is enough for them siblings. She noticed that her siblings is really consuming a lot of food, if not, how come they need to do grocery shopping every week.

When that two thing is settled, Bai Yi Yang open her chat to check the messages, the people who text her is the usual, Su Long, Research Team, Zhang Ming Ming…right, Zhang Ming Ming wasn't there at Old Zhou house today. She opened her text messages and she is at her older sister's house in town, no wonder she wasn't there. Bai Yi Yang continue checking her text messages and reply one by one. She usually reply once a day and then that's all, see you tomorrow.

Today however, she also need to call Zhang Yong about Second Zhou employment.

"Yes princess? How may I help you?" Zhang Yong make a greasy voice which is followed by his own loud laughing. Bai Yi Yang laugh too.

"My mom is here, I was teasing her. What is it?" Zhang Yong explain. Bai Yi Yang hum an answer.

"I need to borrow your name, I want to employ a person formally." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Okay, I will email it to you, you change what you see fit. Then you can fax it to me or the other way. That person can get the same benefits as my employees." Zhang Yong said.

"Okay, I am fine with that, thanks." Bai Yi Yang said.

"You doing well? I haven't see you for a while, it's been a month and a half now. If can I just want to return to the town to see you now." Zhang Yong said with a sigh.

"You are busy, I understand." Bai Yi Yang said.

"I know it wasn't supposed to be like this but I also enjoy watching the grocery store full with people. I didn't know I like making money this much before." Zhang Yong said.

"Making money is enjoyable. But you shouldn't get obsessed with it and ignored other things." Bai Yi Yang said. She understand him, she likes making a lot of money too.

Take the trip to Country J for example, she made hundreds thousands dollars. If she were to stay there longer, she will earn a lot of money. But why did she wanted to make money? Isn't it because of her siblings? She have earned enough from one trip, she should return and spend more time with them instead. This is how she overcome her obsession towards money, as long as you remember the initial intention, it will be fine.

"You are not coming to City Nan anytime soon? We can hang out together." Zhang Yong said. He feels a bit lonely here in the city.

The Zhang family is a big family, they are involved in many fields, their business is all over City Nan and nearby city but their base is City Nan. Zhang Yong has many uncles and aunts, cousins and also a few siblings, his father isn't the eldest son and his older brother also don't have the pressure to excel business as heir, what more him. The Zhang family has a tradition of letting their younger generation to go out on their own after graduation, same amount of funds will be given and they can do anything with it. However, since they are a family that is involved in business, they still need to enter a Business School.

Zhang Yong entered a Business School and graduated at the age of 22, after that she didn't enter the company like her other cousin but enter a vocational school, Zhang Li Li his cousin is his senior who later become his partner for their workshop. The workshop has become his main career now, for about 2 years already.

As for Natural Grocery, it was something that he set up with the fund that he received after graduation. Natural Grocery has been managed by his classmate from Business School, he only own it but didn't really got involved with. Who knows that this passed one month, it suddenly blooms in popularity, their shop receive more regular visitors. Now, many brands wanted to sell their products exclusively in their shop since the shop has good review and the people who went there also have money.

"Not soon. But I will come there at 20th April, I have an Olympiad competition." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Oh..I almost forgot that you are high school student, a smart one at that. Anyway, that will do. Lets hang out then. I will bring you around and send you back later." Zhang Yong said.

"I am going with an older sister and my siblings." Bai Yi Yang remind him.

"Ahh..I see.. Then we all hang out together." Zhang Yong said.

"Okay. Then, I will continue what I was doing." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Okay, bye. Remind me again when you are about to come." Zhang Yong said. Bai Yi Yang nod even when he can't see it and hang up the phone.

Bai Yi Yang then open the chat again, she copy Su Long's Mathematic question and answer all of it. Then as usual, she capture the answer and send it to Su Long before putting her phone aside. After that, she bring her siblings to sleep.
