CHAPTER 30

Seeing Ruhi fall, everyones heart skipped a beat, they ran towards her.

The police constables held Rhea.

This is your punishment Rhea said and started laughing madly.

At the same time, Aahan picked her up in his arms and went outside to the car.

Anurag took the driving seat and Maanav sat in the passenger seat, while Raavi and Aahan sat in the backseat with Ruhi.

fast, Anurag, drive as fast as you can Aahan said panicking.

After 30 minutes, they were in the hospital. Ruhi was in the operation theatre while, everyone was waiting outside, Raavi had informed everyone, including Ruhis family.

Kya koi mujhe batayga ki ye sab hua kaise? Aarti ji questioned.

Haan, aakhir hua kya hai? Neil asked.

8 mahine Aahan, 8 mahino se tmlog ham me se kisi se bhi nahi mile ho Or aachanak se ye sab, are hame to ye tak nahi pta tha ki ruhi pregnant hai Aarti ji said, she was trying so hard to suppress her anger but wasnt able to do that.

Anurag was about to speak something, just then, the door of Operation theatre opened and a doctor came out of the room.

What happened doctor? Is everything alright? Hows ruhi? Aahan asked her hastly.

Calm down Mr. Rajput , your wifes condition is stable, but we have to perform her delivery. She was already weak , I told her to take proper rest and medication but still. And this incident has made her condition worst. I just wanted to ask you once, because shes carrying twins and it is a premature delivery, so we might loose one of the baby The doctor informed them.

Upon hearing the doctors words, everyone became more tensed. They were all worried for Ruhi and babies.

You do what you need to do, I just want my Ruhi to be safe, Aahan said coldly.

Ok Mr. Rajput Doctor Said and went inside the OT.

After the doctor left, everyone anxiously fixed their gaze to the OT.

Aahan, too, started pacing outside the OT, he was really distressed.

Seeing his worry, Anurag went to him, he placed his hand on his shoulder, Dont worry, everything will be fine. He reassured him.

Upon hearing Anurags words, Aahan hugged him, and said I just want Ruhi and babies to be fine .

They will be fine, trust me. Anurag said.

After 30 minutes..

Again, the door of OT room opened and a nurse came out with a baby in her hand .

Aahan went forward and took the baby in his lap , he looked at baby and then at the nurse , questioning her with his eyes.

Hes boy. Im sorry but ,He is not breathing Nurse said and went inside the OT.

Aahan looked at the baby in his lap and his eyes welled up with tears.

My boy He said and a droplet left his eyes.

Just then, he heard the sound of crying of a baby and looked at the OTs door. Hearing that sound, a sweet smile appeared on everyones faces but Aahans face held no emotion, tears kept flowing from his eyes.

In no time, the nurse came out with a baby in her hands, Aahan looked at Anurag and he walked forward to take the baby from nurses hands.

Shes girl and shes healthy The nurse said.

She turned back to go inside the OT but stopped at her place when she heard the cry .

Aahan was surprisingly looking at the baby is his lap.

Everyone others reaction was similar to Aahan.

The nurse turned around to look at the baby in Aahans lap and said This is miracle .

Aahan looked at her with his surprised face.

Give him to me, we need to perform some tests the nurse said and took the baby from Aahans hand and went inside the OT.

Aahan kept watching the nurse leaving, but when Anurag called him, he snapped out of it.

He saw his child in Anurags arms and took her in his lap.

The baby was so cute and looking at him with is big pearl like blue eyes.

Mujhe bhi dekhna hai, Maanav said and went near Aahan.

Aarti ji took the baby from Aahans lap and meri phool si bacchi, kisi ki nazar na lage se said praising her beauty.

One by one everyone took the baby in their arms. The baby was so adorable that nobody felt like taking their eyes off her.

Everyone were busy with the baby while Aahans eyes were still fixed at the OT. He was worried for Ruhi.

The doctor came out of the OT.

Congratulations Mr. Rajput. In my career, I never came across such case. The baby is really miracle she said.

Thank you doctor, but, Ruhi ? Aahan said.

shes fine, were Shifting her to the ward, then you can meet her the doctor said .

ok , thanks. Aahan said.

After 20 minutes...

Ruhi was lying in the hospital bed, after a proper checkup, the doctor went outside to inform everyone that they can meet her.

Aahan was the first person to enter her ward. He saw Ruhi, lying there with her eyes closed.

Sensing someone's presence around her, she opened her eyes to look at Aahan ,who was looking at her with his same handsome face. His eyes held many emotions which cannot be easily read by everyone.

khush ho Ruhi asked.

(are you happy?)

bahot aahan replied and placed a kiss on her forehead.

Did you see our babies Ruhi asked.

bilkul tumpar gaye hai aahan said with a smile.

(they resemble you)

kyun jhut bolte ho aahan, ye bacche ruhi par nahi, apni raavi maasi par gaye hai Raavi entered the ward with the baby girl in her arms. Everyone else followed her inside.

(don't lie Aahan, they don't resemble her, they resemble their Raavi maasi)

why do you think that they look like you? Anurag asked.

Because during her pregnancy, i was the one most present person around her and its said that whoever's face you see the most, the baby looks like them Raavi gave her explanation.

you mean that there is no role of Aahan's and Ruhi's zeins Anurag stated.

She went up to Ruhi and handed over the child to her.

Ruhi looked at the cute baby in her lap with love and kissed her forehead.

she's looking like a doll Aahan Ruhi said.

lo bhai, ham sab to decide hi nahi kar paa rahe the ki ye kiski tarah dikhti hai . Ruhi bhabhi ne bta dia ki ye doll ki tarah dikhti ha Maanav joked.

Shut up maanav, kuch bhi bolta hai Aarti ji said and playfully slapped him in the head.

Ouch maa, lag gayi he acted, and everyone laughed at his action.

maa ruhi called aarti ji.

aarti ji looked at her and then tuned her face around to the other side.

Mai kisi ki maa nahi, tumlog mujhe maa maante to itni badi baat nahi chupate mujhse, wo bhi itne lambe time tak. Itna sab kuvh ho gya or kisi ne mujhe batana zaroori bhi nahi samjha aarti ji said showing her anger and disappointment.

Aahan ,Anurag, and Maanav approached her and hugged her together.

We are sorry maa, we didn't want to worry you, that's why we didn't inform you Anurag said.

How come do you think that my daughter-in-law's pregnancy would have worried me. she said.

Sorry ma, please forgive your children. For your grandchildren's sake, please Manav said.

Fine, but this is the last time. she said.

Thank you , you're the best Maanav said and kissed her cheeks.

Enough buttering, now let me meet my daughter-in law. she said.

She went to ruhi and kept her hand in her cheeks, asking, how are you feeling Ruhi .

Relaxed maa, i'm so so happy today ruhi said.

Aarti ji kissed her forehead and gave her a side hug.

aaise hi hamesha khush raho aarti ji said.

hayee , kisi ki nazar na lage. THU-THU-THU" Anurag took off their evil eye.

chalo ab hm sabhi ghar chalte hai or babies ki swagat ki taiyari bhi to karni hai Maanav said.

Everyone said Aahan and Ruhi to take care and left them in the hospital, anurag also stayed with them.
