Chapter 2: Family and Choices

While I was absorbed in admiring my powerful mother who happened to be doting on me like a maniac, a tiny little creature entered the room.

"Mommy ish that my brotha" said the little one as she pointed at me.

Altair turns around to find the little creature who happened to be Cecilia, my future overpowered sister who like my current mother Altair would excessively adore me like in the game.

Cecilia really resembled mother, like her she also possessed silky black hair and a cute face which shared similarities to Altair. However she had sapphire eyes inherited from my father being the only difference. She obviously will grow into a beauty. I mean just look at her, she is already the most lovely and cute child out there except me after all.

Mother crouches down so my big sis can see me properly because she is tiny and Cecilia is instantly smittened by my cuteness as she forms a large, excited smile on her face.

'Appraisal' I think to myself while she pokes my face.

Reversal:

This is one of the reasons she will be a fearsome enemy in the future but also one of the greatest allies to have. Now there is only that father of mine left for me to appraise and just as I mention him he graciously presents himself to me.

A man with greyish-black hair with his sapphire blue eyes displaying its beauty. His handsome face with such sharp features that can easily attract anyone's attention are present in all its glory. He came in wearing a black suit, probably because he came back from work.

I really am so lucky to be born in this family, and this father of mine shouldn't be the strongest but instead my grandfather who should be at least SSS- rank. I should make sure to also become overpowered like my family, much stronger than the original Lazarus although he was also overpowered. If anything it makes sense now why he was so strong, it literally runs in the family's blood.

Wait, now that I think about it I have already accepted this absurd situation I am in haven't I. I guess there's no point in worrying about the changes as I can't do anything and instead should focus on my survival and future. Yes, as the future isn't set in stone it can be changed so my fate as a villain can be avoided if I want. Also I should start planning out everything that I can take advantage of right now.

After looking at the choices presented to me from the unknown person I could only think of two words.

Holy shit!

My new life as Lazarus can already be said to be indescribable and I only came here just 2 days ago.

Anyways I have to make probably one of the biggest decision in my recently begun life while being surrounded by my family, who are currently staring at me with their eyes reflecting intense devotion to me. I hope this doesn't become troublesome.
