Taking Out

We booked a taxi.

All the while we were on the ride, the driver couldn't get his eyes off Skyler.

I mean yeah, he did look gorgeous but like c'mon. Even if u see him as a girl there is a guy present right next to her!

We went to a movie theatre.

Skyler insisted on paying for the taxi so he paid while I was glaring at the driver.

"Let's Go?" He looked at me with a warm smile.

"Yeah let's go"

We entered the theater, and Skyler stared at everything like a little kid.

(Cute.)

"You look like a child," I spoke.

"Well, you need to shut up" he looked at me with a cute frown.

"Why haven't you ditched your aunt and sneak out like this before?"

"Why would I ever want to ditch her and go against her orders...?" he said tilting his head like he was stating something obvious.

(The heck…he's too innocent.)

I bought the tickets. There was still some time for the movie to start so I told Skyler to wait for me in front of the hall door while I went to the food court to get some soda and popcorn.

When I came back Skyler had a huge crowd around him. A huge crowd of boys to be exact.

He was smiling and gave a chit to one of the boys in the group.

(Maybe he gave him his number...)

"What am I getting so upset for" I mumbled to myself as I walked towards him

The guy who Skyler gave his number to was tall and blond and was dressed very neatly.

He looked in my direction and gave me a little smirk and then went by his way.

(Bastard!)

"You look like you're enjoying yourself," I said looking at the other side.

"Well yeah, an attractive guy just asked me for my number" he replied chuckling.

"Does he even know you're a guy?" I mumbled.

"Yeah! I told him that before he asked for my number"

"oh, right"

(But he's out with me right now...)

It was almost time for the movie to start by now.

I chose a scary thriller movie thinking maybe it would make Skyler scared.

Though...Throughout the movie, I was the one getting scared.

I held Skyler's hand tighter as the movie climaxed while he just had a steady face. He looked somehow bored and unbothered from all the blood and slashing in the movie.

Man, at that point I was just embarrassing myself in front of him.

I tried closing my eyes during some parts but the voices got through me.

(AAAAH WHAT THE HECK HE JUST CUT OFF HIS HAND)

I buried my face in Skyler's shoulder.

"Do you wanna leave?" Skyler said tapping my shoulder.

I was embarrassed but I just could not leave the movie. That would have been too embarrassing.

"N...No I'm fine...perfectly fine" I replied in a shaky but tryna be confident voice.

My face was red not only from the embarrassment dwelling within me, but also because my face was buried in Skyler's shoulder when it should be the other way around, but Skyler looked as unbothered as ever.

Finally, the movie ended.

"It was a great movie," Skyler said while yawning.

"Yep!" I knew my face looked awful at this point.

"Haha now, do you-"

"Let's go eat something now!" I said cutting Skyler mid-sentence.

"Umm sure I guess," he said. I don't know what expression he was putting on this time since I couldn't even face him.

I took Skyler to a nearby restaurant. We sat down and gave our orders.

Many boys in the restaurant, even the ones accompanied by their partners, were looking toward our table. It was obvious they were looking at Skyler. I looked at them, glaring when I felt something on my hand.

Skyler was holding my hand.

"Huh?" I felt a blush rise on my face, coloring my cheeks when I looked straight at him.

He looked so beautiful under the candlelight. He had a little smirk-like smile on his face.

His smile, his eyes everything looked so beautiful, I could feel my heart beating faster.

(Calm down Alex calm down!)

"You know you're really handsome", Skyler said rubbing my hand with his thumb "Those girls have been staring at you for a while now"

"Look who's talking", I said flushed, "everyone is staring at you…you even gave a guy your number".

"mhmm y'know, this is my first time going out on a date with a boy...I always go with my aunt whenever I feel like eating out" he said in a low voice.

(.A DATE?)

"oh is that-" I was in a mid-sentence when I felt something on my feet. I flinched at the sensation.

Skyler was rubbing a little exposed part of my ankle with his feet.

"Stop! What are you doing" I whispered hoping no one can see us.

He didn't show any signs of stopping as his foot made its way up my leg little by little. My heart was about to explode.

(OH MY GOD THIS IS BAD-)

"Alex?" I heard a familiar voice call out to me from behind me, I quickly turned around to see who it was.

(Alissa...?ALISSA!!! OH THANK GOD)

Alissa was dressed fancily,

(Thank God she still looks very attractive)

I quickly pushed Skyler's foot down and pulled my hand away.

"Alissa! Fancy meeting you here"

She looked at me then looked at Skyler

Confused she asked "Are you on a date? I'm so sorry am I disturbing you?"

"ye-" Skyler tried to brush her off but I cut him off.

"NO! Not at all" I said flustered "this is my…umm cousin yes!"

Skyler looked at me with a what-you-can-say "what the fuck" expression and then proceeded to look outside the window, He looked annoyed.

"What are you doing here though? Are you alone?" I asked Alissa ignoring him once again.

"Oh I'm actually with my brother" she replied in a sweet tone.

"Well great now if-" Skyler opened his mouth to say something again...

"You guys should join us!" and I cut Skyler off...again.

He looked at me, shooting lasers from his eyes.

(Sorry, Skyler I just can't stay alone with you right now or else I might explode.)

"Umm I don't wanna bother you guys," Alissa said, concerned.

"Nah you won't. Y'know the more the merrier" I replied hoping she says yes.

"well if you say so... let me go get my brother," Alissa said turning around.

Skyler looked bothered by this, but he didn't say a word to me, instead he just looked outside.

(what am I doing...? This was supposed to be about Skyler.)

Alissa brought her brother and asked the waiter to bring in more chairs for them to sit with us.

Her brother was a fun guy, very talkative and handsome. Though he did look interested in Skyler and tried to talk to him a lot, Skyler, on the other hand, just gave him short answers, trying to avoid him and his conversations.

The same type of answers he gave me on my very first day here.

Alissa and I talked a lot too. Alissa looked beautiful, the black dress she was wearing added to her beauty, and the way she had done her hair was extraordinary.

I hoped she wasn't noticing me staring at her, positive, her brother did though.

"You can stop staring at her buddy," he said in a frank tone putting his glass on the table.

I looked at him, a little flush.

"No! not at all sir!" I said denying the fact I was staring.

Alissa chuckled and looked at me smiling.

(Wow she's beautiful)

I looked to the side to avoid eye contact with her and My eyes peeked at Skyler… He looked unbothered and bored as he played with the straw in his drink.

"Anyways it's kind of rare seeing brothers and sisters eating out together. Is there a special event?" I asked trying to change the topic.

"Nah Alissa just got back from a blind date our mom set her up on …she was just depressed cause the date was really bad so I decided to take her out to cheer her up a little. Though she does look more cheerful after meeting you guys here. Am I right?" Alissa's brother said while playfully pushing her indicating something.

Though I immediately knew what he was indicating. I chuckled lightly.

"Ugh stop it", she said while blushing.

All of a sudden Skyler got up from his chair.

"Need to go for a smoke," he said with a smile on his face.

"uhh okay," I replied feeling very bothered. "Do you want me to come with you?"

"Do you want to come with me?" Skyler replied as he looked at me for an answer.

I wanted to go with him but I also didn't want to leave Alissa and her brother alone, we invited them first we couldn't just leave like that.

In the end, I couldn't say anything.

"Forget it...If you'll excuse me," he said as he walked out.

"Your cousin is really beautiful", Alissa's brother said as he watched Skyler walk off from our table.

"Yeah, she is," I said, my eyes still on Skyler…after a while I realized what I said.

Alissa was looking at me with a confused expression.

"I-I MEAN AS A COUSIN SHE IS BEAUTIFUL AS A COUSIN!" I said explaining.

(Gosh did I just say Skyler was beautiful out loud? what is wrong with me? It came out naturally! Why would it even come out naturally? he is a guy!!)

"Haha not gonna lie she is beautiful," Alissa said while smiling, I looked at Alissa's face while she was laughing. Her smile really attracted me.

I was happy that I still found her attractive.

Skyler came back after 15 minutes but didn't exchange a single word throughout the rest of the dinner.

After we were done with the dinner, We all walked out of the hotel. Alissa and her brother brought their car and offered us a lift home, but Skyler looked like he didn't want to go so I politely declined their offer.

"You look like you had fun today", Skyler said as the car drove away.

"Yes, it was fun wasn't it?" I said with a little guilt inside me.

He didn't reply

We took a cab and went to the cliff since Skyler's clothes were still there. The car ride was quiet.

(Great Alex I guess you really did fuck up this time.)

I got off to go with him, but he stopped me there and turned around to look at me.

"It's ok I can go from here," he said as he walked towards the cliff.

(He does not want me to go with him, he hates me.)

I was getting depressed as Skyler moved forwards but he suddenly stopped walking and turned around.

"I had fun today, Alex," he said with a smile.

His smile was sweet, his expressions were kind and he looked so beautiful, literally the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen.

At that moment I had an urge to stop him and tell him to stay with me a little more. I wanted to spend time with him, Even if it was for just 5 minutes.

I just wanted him and me to be alone.

But I couldn't stop him.

"Well then I'll be going," he said as he turned back.

"Let's meet tomorrow too," he said as he started to walk away.

We don't meet on Saturdays so this surprised me, I felt a feeling of joy filling my body

With a surprised and excited expression, I yelled "YES! SEE YOU TOMORROW SKYLER!"

My heart was beating so fast on the way back home and I just couldn't stop myself from smiling.
