6 Chapter 4: Surprise!

Extremely Extraordinary, was the only words that I could think at the moment. It was Extraordinary, not because of the beauty, but because of How alien this place looked.

I could see that none of the vegetation looks similiar to Earth's and the wild life was completely unique, something like Avatar.

Also, the thing that surprised me the most was How small I looked near this ecosystem. It looked like I was the size of a beetle compared to the trees and everything Else.

After observing the surroundings, making sure that It was safe, I carefully take my First step...

Suddenly, My body went stiff as I crouched towards the ground making sure that I didn't make any sounds.

Silence... It was completely silent. At First It looked completely safe, But my instincts were screaming at me, saying that there was danger nearby...

After some minutes of absurdly silence, I managed to catch a glimpse of something shinying like metal using my back eyes. After seeing It, my eyes didn't leave that thing.

I tensed my legs, gathering power at them. And I didn't make any type of movement, I simply stayed still, with all my six eyes wide open...

Fuuuosh!!

Something really fast suddenly dashes towards me, and I didn't hesitate at all. Relying completely at my instincts, my body jumped really High, Targeting the nearest tree.

After jumping, I could hear a Smashing sound at the ground that I was previously standing, and using my back eyes, I finally managed to know what was attacking me.

It was something like a Crow, But. After observing It more clearly, I could see that It actually looked like a Monster from one of those Alien Movies.

Compared to my size, He was really big. His iron looking beak that could easily snap me in two was stuck at the place that I was previously standing, but he was menacingly gazing at me with two Black eyes that had dark Green pupils, one located at his beak and one on his head, It was looking coldly at me like I was Just prey.

I adjust my body to land safely at the tree's trunk, using my six spider legs to glue myself at the bark. Even being stared like that, I didn't feel any fear, anger or excitement, It was like my mind was blank, focusing solely on surviving.

The Huge Crow finally removes his beak that was stuck at the ground and gazes at me. Also, I could finally see clearly the appearence of this Monster. He had three legs, each that had four claws that could easily rip steel to pieces, and differently from a bird, he didn't had any feathers, only scales that were Black in color. And a Huge colorful crest. He looked like a Mix of Pteradon + Crow.

The Crow stares at me with his cold Black eyes, and I also stare calmly at him using my own eyes. After some seconds of intense staring, I Crazily dash towards the Forest. I was Just like an Agile Monkey, Climbing and jumping trees with insane speed and agility. The Crow also opens his Black wings and propels himself towards me.

The problem is that My exoskeleton hasn't completely matured, one hit of those tree branches and I would end heavily damaged, and the problems didn't stop only there. My Stamina is quickly depleting and the Wind pressure is hurting my eyes and my soft exoskeleton.

While I was Crazily jumping around trying to fend off the crow, I also was searching for a hiding place to save myself.

Quickly! I'm already feeling tired! If the Crow gets me, I Will die!

After jumping one more time, I finally managed to find an old tree trunk that was in the process of decomposition.

Using The branch as a trampoline, I Shot Myself towards the trunk.

Bang!!

After Just less than a second, A Huge Iron beak that Had a scary Black eye stabs at me from the hole of the trunk.

I quickly dash to the side, Narrowly dodging the attack, and It didn't stop there! The Monster continued with his stabs and I did my best to Dodge all of them... But after I got a little distracted, the beak managed to Grass at one of my legs... A Green coloured blood slips from my leg as I endure the pain.

The Crow suddenly opens his beak and a long pink tongue Licks the blood of my wounded leg. I Felt a cold shiver run in my spine, differently from the Crow that Felt excitement after tasting my blood.

His stabs grows more quickly and accurate, missing my Head Just for a bit, and my Stamina was almost worn out. While I was thinking That I would Be Killed. I Heard a mighty Roar that made my body Go numb.

The Crow starts screaming while quickly trying to get out of the trunk. But he wasn't Quick enough. I could see that he was forcefully dragged out of the trunk. His screams and struggle were all futile, I was Quick enough to See him getting crushed by a pair of powerful jaws. The Crow was completely smashed and devoured by something Else...

And suddenly, in the hole located at the trunk, A Huge green Eye with two circular pupils appear and starts checking the insides of the trunk. After seeing nothing but a small puddle of Green blood, The Huge tyrant moves alway, with each one of his powerful legs causing small Earth quakes.

But he didn't Notice the Cyan alien spider that was me, I snucked myself at the side of the hole, so fortunately he didn't see me.

After being certain that there wasn't any danger anymore. I do a heavy gasp, with my body filled with cold sweat. I breathed Huge ammounts of Air to calm Myself, but I Couldn't stop myself from saying...

HOLY SHIT I ALMOST DIED!!!!
