As I stood there wondering what to do, Wade sent a smile my way, said something to Victoria, and then walked away. He must have noticed my hesitation and decided to make it easy for me.

I walked over to Victoria who was all smiles, I bet she couldn't hide her excitement.

"How are you doing Wendy?" She asked with concern. Everyone knew about my breakup with Wade, and news had spread quickly about how Wade cheated with Victoria.

"Much better". I told her. A complete lie, I still cried myself to sleep every night, I still drowned myself in the happy memories we used to have. Truth was, I still loved him even though I didn't want to. I wanted to forget about him.

I wish it was easy to snap my fingers and forget he was ever in my heart but it was impossible.
