Wolfe had been distracted from the responsibility to choose between the Pentacle Candidates for too long already, so he went looking for Cassie and Ella to learn who was where, and which ones could be brought with him for the day.
He also planned to spend time with the other Pentacle Members over the next few days, so he could see the groups that weren't assigned to him. Between those, he was hopeful that he would be able to find a proper grouping of advisors.
But better than while they were assigned to shadow someone was to catch them during the early and later hours of the day, when they were free to choose what they wanted to do. He knew that Monika, the Dwarven candidate, would be either in the forges or the vehicle workshops, that was not even a question for Dwarves. They couldn't resist.
But the others were more of a mystery.
