9 Chapter 9: Battle on the planets

On the ground, Covenant now not able to gain ship support has been stranded on the planet, but they did not stop there attacks, but became even more vicious in attacking, Infinity Guardians moved and started attacking the Covenant, Yelling to the Civilians to move to parks and large open areas as they are where Infinity Guardians started setting up bases to shelter the Civilians. UNSC soldiers started getting help all of a sudden helped release the pressure on them but stunned them by the arrival of aliens they where previously fighting are way bigger and better equipped but they are not attacking but both sides working together helping the civilians out there had to be UNSC with the Infinity Guardians of the Civilians will run or be to scared to move.

Purple beams from the troops cut through the covenant, that forced them back so the Covenant started attacking with the wraiths. Supply ships brought Infinity Guardians troops and a Tank in to help with the Wraiths problem and with a single tank it fired a large purple beam it destroyed the Wraiths one after the next with a single shot a few Wraiths had hit the Tank but only dropped the shield down 25% when the wraiths plasma hit it would spread out to much not doing any punching damage allowing the shield to recharge. Covenant then sent banshees in by taking from the sky they flew in destroyed some Infinity Guardians tanks by sending five Plasma torpedoes onto the tanks all at once. Small Fighters flew in attacking the Banshees, they got destroyed and the sky became clear once more. It got to the point the Covenant was pushing back by each attack they send Infinity Guardians was a Step further with advanced weapons and armor. phantoms flew in dropping in troops and ghosts to attack the troops, so Supply ships flew in destroyed the phantoms and dropped Guardians Ghosts in that pushed the covenant forces even further back all over again.

{Gle POV.}

Four Covenant hunters all arrived after bashing a Metal door open, Gle seeing four Hunters moved through the door and started attacking civilians and UNSC with huge green plasma cannons, any UNSC to close would be sent flying by getting bashed by there thick alloy shields.

Not needing to command his squad as they know what to do, Gle was already before the Hunters with the Helberd in hands, the Hunter before him dashed, he evaded with a side step, there he swings the Helberd and it slashed the defenceless back but he evaded again after makung that swing as green plasma flew at him by the other Hunters, then Purple beams attacked the hunters on all sides, the armor melted in places but still held the Hunters that circled Gle all turned to block the beams, Gle now in the center behind the Hunters laughed as he swings his Helberd in a large circle the energy axe slashed through the backs of all the hunters and they fell dead flooding the area in orange blood.

Gle now Surrounded by four dead hunters looked to the door they came from and a plasma cannon was fired another team of Hunters was at the Door.

After evading, UNSC run up and stood on both left and right side of Gle and started shooting the Hunters,

Gle was going to join but a supply ship moved over and attacked pushed the hunters back into cover then Guardian Hunters was dropped infront of the door Gle had to stop the UNSC firing at them, the Supply ship flew off right after.

The two hunters charged and swinging attacked the guardian hunter who blocked with there shields the impact made a small shockwave from the power but it was completely stopped.

Leave them to the fight, go help your civilians. (Gle)

The UNSC looked at each other them left to help the Civilians. Gle regroup with his team and watched the hunters fight.

The hunters was fighting One on One, then the two hunters attacked once more doing the previous style of charging and swinging, the two guardian hunters as they blocked the hunters once more with there shields this time the guardian hunters bent down at the same time and doing the exact same thing, they pushed there left arm upwards bringing the hunters shield up making an opening under there shield then bring there Cannons up and fired a purple beam into the unguarded chest, even the armor was unable to stop the hot beam as it passed through the armor and made a Black hole into there chest as they both fell dead right after orange blood flowing out..

The UNSC and Civilians realizing just how powerful Infinity Guardians as a whole are by watching all there actions. They are fast, when any Covenant arrived they delt with them right away, they worked together not even giving the Covenant a chance to fight back, when they got over powered by a vehicle they brought there's in. Stronger then the Covenant by huge leaps and its like they fought in wars with the Covenant for years as they attacked all weak points even if there weapons can still over power them by themselves the UNSC watching even the Civilians found by watching where to attack if they need to fight the covenant.

Gle left and started making his way through the city walking with his team on the road when the already dark sky all of a sudden it turned even darker and it was fast so it was not the sun setting.

Then the loud buzzing noise was heard this made Gle his team and the UNSC with there Civilians all to look up and seen Covenant Drones the Covenant Bugs flew to them in such a large swarm it started blocking the setting sun out, Civilians they felt horror just seeing it. When they felt all was lost purple beams rained down as Sentinals moved between the skyscrapers killing all covenant in the streets, Bugs flying in using plasma pistols fired at the Sentinels, but they just got cut down they only piled up on the streets below with other covenant forces that was on the street as the Sentinels killed everything in there path and moved on.

After clearing out areas of Covenant, the city became quiet Gle and his team continued moving.

The Infinity Guardians took the initiative to attack back after an hour of securing civilians and UNSC together.

Gle Arriving at the front line, seen some Infinity Guardians had been critically injured and some lost an arm or two other limb as plasma was eating away at there unshielded armor, as Gle moved his team to start clearing the streets before them, something unexpected happened.

{BOOM!}

Something loud like a Step from something huge.

{Pzzzt!}

Sounds like something is charging.

{Swish!}

A green plasma beam moved through the street and passed the door that Gle was about walk out and to step on the street as the Plasma cut through the concrete ground making a large molten scar after it passed, Infinity Guardians vehicles that was once in its path was destroyed and lucky ones in half. This one attack had taking many lives, a huge four lagged Covenant vehicle moved into sight, its a Scarab, seeing this the Infinity Guardians moved quickly, Supply ships picked up troops from the street and flew to the roof, Gle and his team was one of the many teams brought up to the top. Being dropped off and flew away before getting shot at by the Scarab AA Plasma turrets.

Then all the Infinity Guardians looked at the Scarab and a mission appeared on there visor.

Mission, Kill all Covenant on the Scarab and secure it. 500 Contribution points to all helping, 1000 if completed.

There the Infinity Guardians moved running to the scarab like animals in heat, 500 points is a lot, only 5 points was highest ever given out and 1 point for each kill they do. But having 1000 points when its finished is enough to get new upgrades! Making there way across the roofs Covenant in the way was cut down very fast before even reacting the teams arrived at higher level then the scarab as planned by the Supply ships.

They all Jumped off the top aimed to land on the Scarab below them as it walked right under there feet.

A grunt in Gle Team running Jumped from the roof, as he is falling the scarab moved under him his AI companion activating the armor boosters on his back the grunt landed on the scarab swinging his right arm the bladed pistol slashed through the back of a unexpected jackal and side stepping a plasma shot from a pistol passed where he was, moving fast he raised his pistol and aimed at the grunt and shot the purple beam passed through the grunt killing him.

An Elite swinging his energy sword aiming at the grunt open back, but the armor warning came into his visor and a laser shot from the grunt back as a small robot flew out of his armored back and sent continues lasers at the elite who had to block them with his left arm, turning around and shooting the elite the beam took the elite shield offline then the robot sent a small purple laser and shot through the elite head killing him.

The other Infinity Guardians moved killing any covenant around, as the top was cleared the grunt made his way deeper, the small robot flying with him started attacking the covenant, killing throughout the scarab the grunt ended up at the front where the driver is, seeing the high Ranked Sangheili with a energy sword his right hand and his left hand tapping on the Scarab controls, the grunt made his way behind the unexpected Sangheili and Stabbed the bladed pistol into the back of the Sangheili and shot the blade that took the elite shield down had a purple beam that put a hole through the Sangheili and exited his chest and killed him, the others finished killing the last Covenant on board as he moved away from the controls a human walked up and started gaining access to the scarab and stopped it from moving, there the mission was completed and the points was given out.

As soon as the scarab was stopped small fighters, supply ships, Ground vehicles all moved from all directions and converting to the scarab legs and they started clearing the covenant below it and the ones in the buildings taking cover from the attacking troops.

The atmosphere is unstable it seems we need ti wait for many years till the planets cool down, more ships will arrive soon to assist in evacuation as soon as they do give the order to fall back to the Infinity Guardians bases the planet is already started making crazy whether. (Admiral)

What about Specter, he called himself one of the four founders of Infinity Guardians he must be a high rank on there side? (Frank)

We will deal with him when we get the Civilians evacuated to the third planet. (Admiral)

Spartans are on way and will be dropped as soon as they arrive to help evacuation. (Admiral)

Ships arriving through Slip space, there are a few thousand of them, there they sent pelicans to the planet to help pick civilians up and dropped troops to speed everything up. as they are moving from the planet and back to the ships.

Reaper had left for a mission and he was attacking a covenant fleet that was about to attack a life planet of the UNSC and took some damage and many hurt he called for my help. (Death)

Making a bit more small talk a Slip Space Rupture opened up and a White Ship came out but there is a huge Medical symbol on both sides of the ship it has a long central hull that branched into large sections that looks like a docking pay of a space station.

The Medic ship is used on front line combat, Death is inside and this ship is bigger then the Angel class Capital ship as it can hold 4 Capital ships just fine or 8 Cruisers, or 24 Frigates.

Contacting the UNSC with Death on screen, the captains appeared on screen.

Soon the new ship? Death here is the Captain and also a Medic, all damaged ships can dock at the ship and your ship will start getting repaired, and the medics are fully equipped to help all wounded. (Specter)

As for the new arrivals you can use it to send Civilians and troops that are injured and you are unable to help. (Specter)

Thanks, we are having very little medics on board and my ship is unable to even enter a planet atmosphere without blowing up. (Frank)

As the Ships moved to the Medic Ship and docked, Constructors that is small 18 foot tall Sentinals that repair Forurunners structures when damaged they are so many that the repairing is being fixed at a rapid pace as Medics ran in and out of the ships with injured or medic supplies.
