Chapter 7: Flood Training

The teams working together made there way to close the breach, Gle lead the team as he knows the way, Fighting the Flood a few unlucky Grunts and Jackals got turned into the flood and had to be put down.

The death of team members made fighting the flood harder but they are improving very well, and advancing fast.

Then something happened, the flood started Increasing all of a sudden, the Flood increased so bad that the team was advancing in a slow snail speed to get to the breach, then the flood started using weapons, getting shot at by bullets out of the blue the team took cover behind anything from pillars and wall sections poppimg out from the cover fired back then rockets flew passed and exploded behind them the heat was not felt by the shield and shrapnel flew in a large area scorching the spot hit by the rocket into melted metal and black soot.

Rockets? Did the UNSC join and get infected? (Jack)

Sentinals flew in blasting purple beams down the flood attacked and rockets took a few Sentinals shields down and they fell back and wait to recharge the shield as they attack from a distance, the team pushed and started attacking the flood that is distracted by the Sentinels.

Clearing them they moved forward and then Covenant forces walked out a door and started shooting, grunts firing fuel rod cannons the green bouncing fuel rods Gle was hit unluckily and the shields was almost disabled by that one hit and another attack was incoming to him thinking that is the end of him, Sam ran up and a Shield surrounded the team the fuel rod smashed against the shield that appeared giving enough time for Gle to get his shield back up, Grunt sent a purple pistol beam and hit the attacking grunts and killed them one after the next wiped the last grunt up and then Gle charged the Elite that got to close to the shield and he charged out of the shield as he changed his beam rifle to a Helberd there he entered close combat and with a swing he smashed the axe part into the Elite chest took the shield and threw the Elite back by the force a huge gash in his armor he fell to his knees the Gle that arrived before him again swings down and hit hard removed the elite head from his body, another Elite using that time swings his energy sword at him, Evading out of the way the energy sword passed him and with a kneeling position swings the Helberd and the Elite using his sword to defend got hit hard got knocked back making an opening Gle using the previous swing spun on his knee bringing the Helberd a full swing it was very fast and he slashed the wide open Elite chest right open purple blood poured out and he fell dead.

There another Elite arrived attacking Gle in his blind spot that he will be unanle to react but two purple beams arrived and killed him it was two Jackals that one took the shield out and the other got the head shot.

Now covenant flood mixed with UNSC flood started fighting as they advanced forward to close the door, arriving in a large room, Gle yelled.

On the other side of this room is a door, that door leads to a hallway that branches out to many other parts getting further in the door there if we close it will cut the flood flow here! (Gle)

That was the idea, but the flood was pouring out from ever possible direction after Gle finished talking the large room has doors and higher areas on noth sides the flood shot down from them places at the team now trapped and attacked on all sides by the flood.

It will be the end of them soon if nothing changes, the flood is just endless.

The team lost members one after another but they took down hundreds of flood and kept holding out they seem to be unable to think of a plan under the chaotic attacks from every direction, and then wall of purple beams shot above them vaporizing the top floor flood, then a slip space rupture small one appeared as Prometheans walked out sending purple beams at the flood in all directions down below cleared a large area around the trapped team.

Prometheans has entered the fight, they fired purple beams but the flood was resistant having arrived right before the Prometheans they switched to energy blades as they attacked close up with the flood moving fast and doing short range teleportation as they swing sliced the flood vaporized them, as the front ones are attacking close up the further away firing beams supported them, the team did not sit idle watching the show, they advanced to the hallway and the Prometheans supported the Advancement then they slip space Jumped to the closest doors all around and each Promethean blocked the door holding the flood back giving the team the time they need to attack forwarded without worrying about attacks in there back.

Gle must be unlucky or lucky because a energy sword flood passed him and swing at his open back but an energy blade stabbed through the flood and was slashed in half that sent a charge through the flood body vaporizing it.

It was a Promethean that arrived saving him.

We have been locking the doors as we made our way here blocking the flood Advancement the flood was being pushed here them we got a mission of a trapped team needing help. (?)

At least you are fighting to close the doors back, had some teams unlock the doors and run away after that making it our problem right after. (?)

Lets make quick work of the flood, there is Corrupted Prometheans that blocked our progress here to support you they might arrive if we are any slower don't need to fight the flood and them at the same time. (?)

The team working together fought there way through the hallway and arrived at the opened door, as the door was closing a voice boomed loudly in everyone's mind even the Prometheans.

Your distraction is unavoidable! Give in and stop your pointless struggle! (Gravemind)

A Gravemind? This is getting chaotic without back up. (Jack)

UNSC, Covenant, Flood mixed of both sides, and Corrupted Prometheans, and us trying to clean up all four... (Sam)

We will deal with the Gravemind later, first we will need to regroup the other Infinity Guardians scattered about then deal with everything in a organized way we will be able to call for help once a stronghold is set up. (?)

The team followed John out of the underground Facility the lack of Flood helped speed things up and arrived on the surface there trees and bright sun beaming down helping give light then making there way to a large cliff down below a large scale battle between Covenant, UNSC as ships fight high up in the sky, and battles happening on the ground in large open field, Banshees and Pelicans and phantoms flew and battled in the sky with Falcons sending chain guns and rockets out, it was hell.

Tanks fired and rockets flew, Warthogs and Ghosts, wraiths, revenants had a full out war on the ground.

In space Covenant Ships and UNSC ships fought as both side lost ships Huge Nuclear bombs exploded.

Then Corrupted Prometheans joined the battle all of a sudden and attacking both sides as they fought they lost quickly but done high damage as fast they are made to fight flood not combat.

No flood is present yet, I know we closed the door but that will inly slow the Gravemind down a bit. (John)

Now, we need to get a base set up before we are killed off, I got news our ships are waiting for a stronghold to be established before they join the fight, see that Forurunner structure? It has a flat wide area we can use that as a base platform, Sentinels can be used as turrets as we can start calling in supplies, Jack when we get a Signal relay up contact the Infinity Guardians scattered about fighting and redirect them here, and tell the ships we have established a base, there we will plan as we go. Gle, Sam set up a defensive area around and keep all attacks away as supplies ships move over. (John)

Making there way to the marked area, they arrived and John had a relay system set up the Sentinels repair bots flew and help create it, there the relay was up and Covenant and UNSC with Corrupted Prometheans started attacking the stronghold, Sentinels attacking back was able to hold them off for so long but getting overwhelmed and Gle, Sam, John and all the others worked together fighting back to give as much time for Jack tofinish contacting the Infinity Guardians ground teams and having them redirected to the base and after that he contacted the ships.

Ships appeared out from being Invisable and started attacking both sides as it was a free for all on Factions in this simulation, hell was everywhere in space, supply ships dropped troops that have been killed before and supplies down at the stronghold and using the supplies and new troops they started helping fix the base up better as they also under attack, small fighters moved in joining the fight helping fight the banshees and Pelicans and falcons attacking the stronghold.

Ships exploded in the sky and fell to the facility some almost landed in the stronghold, there was not a single spot that is not under attack.

It was going fine for the Infinity Guardians, being organized quickly, Established a base and started attacking back, ships having even more power then the other sides started cleaning them up, but then the flood joined the battle, the time gave the flood enough time to access the systems and unlock the doors themselves that held them back, flood has joined the battle.

Hmm, the facility is working well, training everyone under high stress situations like this will help, Pilots, Captains in the ships, leaders are appearing when needed, and ground troops learning how to survive against all odds to be able to establish a stronghold and rally troops and go from surviving to defending to attacking back. As its a game, when the troops are killed they are sent to a ship and then they will be sent back down onto the battlefield, if unlucky they can be shot down if the area they are going to has AA guns in place, if they do land again and not having good position and get killed they have to repeat that over and over until they stop dying. [Specter]

This is a Free for all setting, there is times when it will be UNSC vs Covenant and they can join any side they believe is the right choice and then there is the All factions fight the pure flood, then there are get to a location first before the other factions does. Many, many more types. [Specter]

Years passed and the first contact war between UNSC and Covenant has been made, the Spartan program had been finished and I have been keeping tabs on it and gained the information needed from Ghost infiltration into the Spartan program.

Using the data collection and even the parts that Dr. Halsey tied removing completely and using Forurunners technology I fixed the death rate to zero and Improving it to not only help Humans but also other races, and still had the power of the Spartans two's.

I am in a Training Facility and had started the Spartan program for all the Recruits, the different races has different programs but it will take place all together.

As the first contact between Covenant and UNSC is taking place I will finish the Troops training and make them overpowered before showing myself to both sides, days passed and the Infinity Guardians had a boost in power, Sangheili became taller, Stronger, faster, able to think and react faster, and became even smarter then before.

Jackals became taller, faster, reaction time even faster then before, Stronger, Smarter.

Grunts had became taller being the size of an average human, Stronger, Smarter, faster.

Hunters became giants and even with there size bigger they are stronger, faster, smarter.

Humans, became taller, faster, smarter, stronger, reaction speed faster.

This is become the average Infinity Guardians member, the Contribution points has been now in place for a few years now allow the purchase of new technology like artificial intelligence companions they have there own flying drone body and can help in combat and assist on intelligence work when needed.

New armor classes depending on the person they can become any specialized solider they want from assassin class and will be placed under Ghost to learn, medics class being placed under Death to learn, Full out combat class, no hiding, no tricks just brute force and lots of action being Reaper class, and then there is Specialized in all areas me.

But there is also the Engineers class, and many others that one can make anything they want if it helps to win battles its allowed.

Teaching would be a pain and so specialized facilities for all four Main founders of Infinity Guardians being Reaper, Ghost, Death, Specter was setup the facility they go to has a programmed teacher that even improves the information gained allowing us four founders learn new skills.
