While Darrel has just woken up, he was still confused, not only amazed that he's not dead, but that he's apparently been to that temple before, at first he didn't even notice what could mean these number that were rapidly decreasing.

While some vague memory surfaced in his mind, he saw the carvings on the stone in an ancient language, but not unknown to him, among the intact memories he had left, he remembered an ancient language that he had studied for years.

"If you are looking for immortality, you have come to the right place, here you will have to face one of the twelve trials to get a fragment of it, here in the temple of Uroboro you will have to face the remnants of his soul." it was what was engraved in the stone.

While Darrel advanced more and more through the ruins of the temple, he arrived in front of the huge gateway, where the symbol of Ouroboros was engraved above it, 'one of the twelve symbols of immortality, the engraving showed a snake eating its tail, symbol of the cycle of life, death and eventual rebirth'.

Darrel who was trying to open those huge doors to see what was inside, didn't know yet that the elves were still looking for him, in fact he had really forgotten about the elves.

Meanwhile, the elves who are still looking for Darrel notice that maybe he has too much luck...

"Commander, a problem has arisen" one of the soldier elves said with the help of the spirits.

"What happened?" replied the commandant.

"The spirits say they've lost track of Darrel," the soldier continued.

"What do you mean by having lost track of him?! Spirits are present everywhere in the forests of the elf kingdoms! It is not possible for spirits to simply lose track of a miserable human" said the surprised commander, who was starting to get angry.

"They say that at some point he disappeared out of nowhere..." the soldier replied.

"Then take me to the place just before his disappearance!" the commander said as he was regrouping the rest of the army.

Arrived on site, the elves noticed a slight alteration in the surrounding space, a sort of magical barrier.

"You can send the message to the king that we need some experts in magical barriers" the commander said to the spirits.

While they were waiting for reinforcements, Darrel was still trying moving those gigantic doors that separated him from knowing more about the twelve temples of immortality.

"I've been here for hours and this door hasn't budged a nanomillimeter!" said Darrel frustrated.

While he continued to try he saw another engraving, which unlike the symbol of Ouroboros, was so tiny, you could barely read what was written on it.

' ᛖᚾᛏᚱᚨᛏᛖ ᛟ ᚢᛟᛁ ᚲᚺᛖ ᚲᛖᚱᚲᚨᛏᛖ ᛚ×ᛁᛗᛗᛟᚱᛏᚨᛚᛁᛏÀ, ᚲᚢᛁ ᛏᚱᛟᚢᛖᚱᛖᛏᛖ ᚲᚢᛖᛚ ᚲᚺᛖ ᚲᛖᚱᚲᚨᛏᛖ, ᛈᛖᚱ ᚨᚠᚠᚱᛟᚾᛏᚨᚱᛖ ᛚᚨ ᛈᚱᛟᚢᚨ ᛞᛁ ᚢᚱᛟᛒᛟᚱᛟ ᛈᚱᛟᚾᚢᚾᚲᛟᚨᛏᛖ ᚲᚢᛖᛊᛏᛖ ᛊᛏᛖᛊᛊᛖ ᛈᚨᚱᛟᛚᛖ× ᛁᛜᚺᛟᛏᛏᛖᚱÒ ᛁ ᚢᛁᚢᛁ ᛖᛞ ᛁ ᛗᛟᚱᛏᛁ ᛈᛖᚱ ᛁᚾᛏᛖᚱᛟ ᛈᛖᚱ ᚱᛁᚾᚨᛊᚲᛖᚱᛖ. '

"Enter oh you who seek immortality, here you will find what you are looking for, to face the trial of Uroboro pronounce these same words: I will swallow the living and the dead to be reborn." translated Darrel.

And as if by magic the door opened creating a vibration of the ground so strong that even the elves felt it.

When the elves began to feel the ground shaking, they immediately went on alert and as the experts were arriving, the army called in more reinforcements from other experts as they began to suspect that there were buried ruins there, because of the strange happenings.

While the magical barrier experts began their research on the magic barrier and the other experts were arriving, the army could do nothing but wait while they were chasing away the wild animals and various monsters of little importance.

And while all this was happening rapidly, Darrel finally realized that the rapidly decreasing number was nothing more than a timer, which apparently from the small earthquake earlier, meant nothing but the destruction of the temple once the timer was reaching 0.

Glancing at the timer again, Darrel understood that he didn't have time to take it easy, so in a hurry he started running as if his life was depending on it, also because, if he wasn't out there at the end of the timer, he would have to repeat everything from the start, and it would require a very long time, Darrel didn't want to spend a lifetime doing the same thing over and over again, it would cost his sanity.
