And while Darrel was wondering if was the right thing to do, (most probably not, he was just a coward) he was continuing his journey towards who knows where, a few hundred kilometers away from the kingdom of the elves, he didn't know what time it was but the sun was starting to rise and Darrel, already exhausted for hours, started looking for a hiding place where he could rest and hide, hoping not to fall asleep for too long for fear that they would find him, but thinking about it, by now he was hundreds of kilometers away from the kingdom of the elves, how could they ever find him, his luck was no longer as low as it once was.

On the road looking for the hideout Darrell suddenly tripped, falling on his face without even trying to fight because he was exhausted, he passed out and the last thing he heard was the floor that was…collapsing?

Meanwhile at 6 in the morning in the kingdom of the elves, at sunrise...

The elves used to wake up early, both due to their strong nature and the work that many had, such as hunting and many other jobs that also included more complicated tasks, of course those who were already sleeping at least, there were instead those who were really tired on the night watch, that finally could go home to have a good sleep.

Usually thanks to the power of the spirits the elves could see even in the dark, but this required a continuous consumption of mana, for this reason they usually go home that they already really exhausted and every now and then there is some smartass guy who saves some mana thinking that in the meantime nothing would have happened that night durin their workshift...

"Father sorry to disturb you but have you seen Darrel? I tried to call him to have breakfast and discuss, well...about what happened yesterday" Elisa said to the king still not suspecting even a little that Darrel might have escaped, after all they had the best guards on the night shift, it wouldn't have been possible for someone to go in or out without the guards noticing, especially since Darrel was really weak compared to the weakest elf in the whole kingdom and then the elves also had night vision in addition.

While the king ordered his servants and guards to go and check around the castle and around the kingdom, they thinked that maybe he could have just gone to find something to buy at the markets, but there was someone who was worried that it might have happened domething to him.

"What if something really happened to him? Something horrible, no no, it can't be" Elofa thought as he paced back and forth in her room.

"Princess Elofa! Princess Elofa!" she heard someone exclaim from the corridor.

"What happens?" Elofa said hopeful they'd found Darrel.

"Thanks to the help of the spirits of the forest we found traces of Darrel, however...we heard from the spirits that he is...well..." the guard said reluctantly.

"What? Don't leave me with this suspense" Elofa said.

"As the spirits say, Darrel, the human has...escaped" the guard replied.

"..." Elofa was speechless, after all Darrel had never stopped surprising her, but this was really getting hilarious.

"Tell me, does my father already know?" Elofa said now worried that the king wouldn't start a manhunt.

"Unfortunately yes, he has already warned all the guards to kill him on sight and has put a price on his head even in the human kindoms" said the guard before joining the manhunt.

While the guard was about to join the manhunt, the princess was thinking that she should help that frail human and she should also hurry because with the help of the spirits they wouldn't take too long to find him, no matter how far he is or in what hiding place it was, also because with his frail body he couldn't go too fare and he need to sleep too.

And while the princess was preparing to go in search of Darrel, the guards were following, also thanks to the help of the spirits, the footsteps of Darrel, who certainly didn't even undertake to hide his tracks, but luckily for Darrel , that it was not for nothing that he had spent many points to raise his luck, began to rain, erasing every possible trace, a rain so powerful that it even made the smaller trees fall, there would be no physical trace of Darrel left, but apparently he hadn't raised it high enough, because they still had the help of the spirits of the forest.

As Darrel opened his eyes he received a notification from the system, and fortunaly wasn't that he died.
