Stormdust knew very well the meaning of his actions, and yet his rage and unwillingness at the sight of destiny he saw from this existence before his eyes moved past any reservations as he did it anyways.

Hundreds of thousands of years that even stretched over a million years of hard work…he could feel as they all slowly evaporated before his eyes! 

All from a single existence that when he arrived in the Primordial Empire, his Nomological Edict of Burning Destiny had alerted him and told him this being would be a source of danger! And Stormdust had moved to take care of this possible source of danger, but he now knew he should have moved with utmost conviction.

He should have taken the life of this being when he still showed battle power before a Forefather, before he seemed like the unshakable existence that he was currently looking at right now!
