Chapter 29 - Awakening abilities

Sheyan visited a cloth house first and bought some female clothing.

Then he came back to the Pauline hotel, where he left Sarah.

Sheyan came to his floor and looked at the Terminators standing outside his room.

"Is everything fine?" Sheyan asked them.

"Yes sir." Mr. Black replied.

Sheyan nodded and knocked on the door.

"Coming" Sarah replied from inside and soon opened the door.

"You are back!" Sarah exclaimed happily and hugged him.

"Yes i am." Sheyan replied with a smile and hugged Sarah back.

Sniff! sniff!

Suddenly Sarah sniffed Sheyan and pushed him away angrily her eyes getting red from anger too.

"Why do you have the smell of a woman's perfume on you." Sarah asked.

"Ahh this..." Sheyan cursed himself inside his mind for making such a rookie mistake.

"So i was right you were with a woman last night." Sarah spoke and tried to close the door.

Sheyan quickly stopped her from closing it.

"Wait wait, let me explain." Sheyan spoke hurriedly.

"No need to explain to me, who am I to ask you for explanation, just go back to that woman you were with last night." Sarah shouted and tried to close the door with all her strength.

But Sheyan slowly opened the door and came inside quickly. Sarah huffed and just turned around to go back inside.

Sheyan grabbed her hand and pulled her into his arms.

"Let me go!" Sarah shouted.

"Just calm down for a second and listen to me." Sheyan tried to calm her down.

"I am very calm, just let me go." Sarah spoke in a cold voice.

"Okay okay" Sheyan let her go, she quickly moved back inside the house.

Sheyan followed her inside.

Sarah went inside the bathroom and picked up her clothes to change, she was still in a bathrobe.

"I brought new clothes for you, you can wear them." Sheyan moved the cloth bang in front of Sarah.

"Give them to the woman you were sleeping with last night." Sarah replied without looking at Sheyan.

Sheyan grabbed her clothes and put the cloth Bag on washing machine, he came out of the bathroom and closed the door.

"Open it!" Sarah shouted from inside.

"Wear the clothes first, we will talk after that." Sheyan replied in calm tone from outside.

"You are a bastard!!" Sarah screamed from inside.

"Yeah yeah i know" Sheyan replied underhandedly.

'I should take more precautions from now on, although it doesn't matter as i had to tell her sooner or later anyways, Katrina already knows about her, Sarah should know about Katrina too now.' Sheyan thought after he sat on the bed.

Sarah banged the door one more time, before looking at the cloth bag in frustration.

She gritted her teeth and took out the clothes, she found a pair of bra and panty inside too. Sarah checked the size and it was actually her size.

"Fucking pervert" Sarah muttered with anger.

She quickly took off her bathrobe and wore the clothes Sheyan bought, it was a blue jeans, a white T-shirt which had a 'S' insignia on it and a white Jacket.

"I am done, open the door!" Sarah shouted from inside the bathroom.

Sheyan got up and opened the door.

"I am leaving!" Sarah said after coming out.

"I really need your help right now, you know." Sheyan spoke.

"Ask that woman for help." Sarah said.

"So you gonna leave me when i need you?" Sheyan looked at Sarah with a hurt look.

"Don't emotional blackmail me!!!" Sarah shouted.

Sheyan just looked at her with a hurt face, his eyes shinning, like tears will be falling down from them anytime soon.

Sarah gritted her teeth, grinded them but Sheyan kept looking at her with same face, finally she stomped heavily on the ground.

"Okay fine tell me what you need my help for, and get this straight if it isn't something serious, i will leave right away." Sarah said through greeted teeth, finally compromising.

"Thank you i knew my Sarah won't leave me like this." Sheyan smiled and hugged her.

"I am not yours!" Sarah spoke, irritated by Sheyan.

"Okay, let's get to important things." Sheyan said and took Sarah to sit on sofa.

"Tell me what is it?" Sarah asked although she was still angry at Sheyan, but when she heard that she could help him she was really eager to do it, yesterday she felt really useless, Sheyan was doing so many dangerous things while she could only stay behind.

Sheyan brought out an innate ability crystal from his storage and showed it to Sarah.

"What is this?" Sarah asked.

"A shard from space time convergence." Sheyan made a name on the spot.

"What! What does it do?" Sarah exclaimed and took the crystal in her hand. It was very beautiful, much Prettier than any diamond she has seen til now.

"From my research, i came to a conclusion that it can grant some super ability, but there might be a risk involved such as loss of consciousness for a while, so i want you to look after me when i am unconscious." Sheyan spoke.

"You want to use it on yourself? That's too dangerous, i can't let you do that." Sarah quickly spoke and hid the crystal behind her.

"I have to, a whole team of Terminators is coming, there maybe 10, 50 or maybe a hundred terminators, i have to increase my strength in a short period of time." Sheyan spoke seriously.

"But... But... Then let me do it instead, you wanted my help anyways right." Sarah suggested with determined eyes.

'What? Wait, what if Sarah crushed the ability crystal, will she also get an innate ability like me? System, answer me if Sarah crushes the crystal will she also recieve the ability?'

{ Ability crystals are manifestation of an already existing innate ability, system only crystalized the ability, so it doesn't matter who break the crystal they will recieve an innate ability. }

'That's great, i only need two more steel and 10 armoured crystals to awaken both abilities, after i awaken them i would still have 8 steel crystals and 1 armoured crystal, plus i still have 4 shooter crystal.' A plan emerged in Sheyan's mind, all this conversation with system and making a plan took 3 seconds.

Although Sheyan knew that there won't be any problem from crushing the crystal, but there was no need for Sarah to know that.

"No you can't do that, did you forget what i promised you, as long as i am here, i won't let anything happen to you, so how could I let you do something so dangerous." Sheyan said sternly.

"You..." Sarah felt her heart beating faster, tears appeared in her eyes, this man who met her just yesterday, he has been protecting her all this time from killer robots even putting his own life in danger to save her, and even now he doesn't want her to do something dangerous, although this man is a scum who sleeps around with random women, but she couldn't deny that she has really fallen in love with him.

"Don't worry, did you forget i already have a superpower, it shouldn't be very hard for me to assimilate with this new power." Sheyan smiled and assured her.

"But.." Sarah didn't know what to say anymore, she just decided to forgive him for what he did last night, but she will make sure that he doesn't go to any other bitch anymore, she will make sure that he only belongs to her.

"Just keep watch on me okay, don't let anything disturb me, anything i say." Sheyan said seriously.

"Yes, i won't let anything disturb you!" Sarah promised solemnly.

"Okay before we begin, i have a gift for you." Sheyan smiled and put his hand in his pocket.

Willing a small part of liquid metal to turn into one more ring inside a box.

"Gift? What is it?" Sarah asked, very curious about this gift.

Sheyan took out his hand from his pocket and showed the ring box to Sheyan, box opened on its own and revealed a diamond ring.

"How is it?" Sheyan asked.

Sarah stared at the ring in shock, then looked at the smiling Sheyan, she felt that her heart would come out of her chest.

"You... this... You..." Sarah couldn't make a complete sentence.

"This is a special ring, i made it specially for you." Sheyan smiled and willed the liquid metal ring and box to turn itno sunglasses, then into mini Uzi.

"What! What is this thing?" Sarah asked in shock, but she felt somewhat familiar with this thing.

"It's called liquid metal, i made it after researching on the shape shifting robot we killed yesterday, you can command it mentally to turn into things, which it has assimilated with" Sheyan replied.

"You researched it in such a short period of time?" Sarah asked surprised at Sheyan's speed in researching and inventing new things.

"Yes, i am the best." Sheyan smiled proudly.

He willed the gun to again turn back in a ring and picked up Sarah's hand.

"What- what are you doing?" Sarah asked flustered at his actions.

Sheyan smiled and just put the ring on Sarah's ring finger.

"It looks beautiful on you." Sheyan spoke and kissed Sarah's hand.

Sarah blushed and took back her hand.

"You... what did you jus-" Sarah tried to condemn Sheyan.

But Sheyan cut her in the middle.

"Okay no time to waste, i am using the crystal." He bought out two more crystals containing steel innate ability and crushed them.

Instantly he lost his consciousness and fell back on sofa.

"Sheyan!! Sheyan!! What happened? Answer me?" Sarah quickly got up and tried to wake up Sheyan.

"Is he fine? He did say he will be unconscious, oh what should I do, I hope nothing happens to him." Sarah looked at the unconscious Sheyan with worry.

"He said that he shouldn't be disturbed by anything, i will make sure that nothing happens." Sarah said seriously and asked the liquid metal to turn into a gun.

Liquid metal turned into a mini Uzi as Sarah thought of mini Uzi when she commanded.

She stood behind Sheyan in attention and waited for him to wake up.

Sheyan has come to a strange world, everywhere he looked he saw steel blocks.

In sky, on ground everything was covered in steel.

{ Ability awakening progress is starting. }

A notification rang in Sheyan's ears and the steel around him turned into a liquid form and swallowed him completely.

Sheyan was soon submerged in steel completely.

A steel statue which looked exactly like Sheyan appeared at his place.

Sarah looked at Sheyan's unconscious body, it has already been an hour since Sheyan fell unconscious, Sarah was getting more n more worried by each passing second.

"Come on Sheyan, you can do it." Sarah cheered for Sheyan.

Inside the steel world, Sheyan's steel statue suddenly cracked at face.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

Soon cracks appeared all over it.

BANG!!!

With a huge bang the statute burst opened and Sheyan with closed eyes appeared from inside it.

Sheyan opened his eyes and found himself back in the hotel room.

A notification rang in his ears.

Sheyan opened the description of his Awakened innate ability.

[ Refined steel (Innate ability): Reduce all physical damage from anything by 30 points. ]
