Chapter 22 - Making preparations (part 1)

In an old steel factory, above the hot molten lava pool, a guy and girl were hugging each other silently.

"How long are we gonna stay like this?" Sarah asked.

"Just for a while more." Sheyan replied.

Sarah separated from Sheyan and looked down at the pool of molten steel.

"Is he dead?" Sarah asked.

"Yes" Sheyan also looked down at the pool of molten steel and replied.

"Now tell me, how did you do that?" Sarah looked at Sheyan and asked.

"Did what?" Sheyan pretended to be confused.

"Don't act, I am talking about how you swapped your position with that robot." Sarah glared at Sheyan and spoke.

"Okay, you saw how that robot appeared out of thin air, right? Actually they arrive in past from future by using some sort of Space time convergence points, i found some space time convergence points and destroyed them, and somehow space rules affected me, So i just studied it a little and found a way to swap my position with other things." Sheyan made some exaggerated hand gestures and replied to Sarah.

"So you have some sort of super power now?" Sarah asked a little exited.

"Yes you can say that." Sheyan nodded.

"Let's go call that worker first, i need to scoop out that robot." Sheyan said.

"I don't think you will be able to do anything with it even if you scooped it out." Sarah said.

"We still have to check first." Sheyan smiled.

Sarah shrugged and followed Sheyan outside.

Workers saw that both officers came out, and old man came forward once again.

"Are you done sir?" Old man asked.

"No, i want you to cool down that molten steel pool now." Sheyan said.

"Sir that requires too much effort and time." Old man looked troubled and answered.

"10000 dollars" Sheyan spoke.

"Right away sir, just give us 10 minutes." Old man nodded hurriedly and ran to ask other workers to cool the molten steel pool.

"How did you earn so much money?" Sarah asked since Sheyan admitted that there is no department behind him, then how did he get the money.

"Stole it." Sheyan replied.

"What! You are a thief too!" Sarah exclaimed.

"Just a side job, haha" Sheyan laughed and walked back towards the molten steel pool.

"Ohh man, how did i fall in love with a criminal like you." Sarah sighed.

Sheyan stopped and turned around.

"What did you say?" Sheyan asked.

"What did I say?" Sarah asked back and looked away.

"You said you fell in love with me." Sheyan said.

"Yes i did, so what, you are just a criminal, don't know how many women you have played with til now." Sarah spoke with anger and walked past Sheyan with an angry face.

Sheyan looked on with a confused face.

'What did i do? How did she suddenly go from confessing her love to being angry?' Sheyan couldn't understand the quick change of mood at all.

A middle aged worker came from behind and patted Sheyan's shoulder, Sheyan looked at him with confusion, worker just gave Sheyan a look, shook his head and left.

Sheyan ignored him and opened Sarah's affinity panel, indeed it was 100 points.

Sheyan quickly ran to catch up with Sarah.

"Hey i love you too." Sheyan said after catching up with Sarah.

"Whatever" Sarah spoke and turned her face, a smile adorning her pretty lips.

Sheyan and Sarah waited for a short while in silence, after 10 minutes the old man came to them.

"Sir, it's done." He said.

"Great, take us there." Sheyan said.

Old man nodded and lead Sheyan and Sarah to a block of steel.

Sheyan came forwards and touched a part which seemed a little different in colour than rest of the block.

A crimson key slowly floated out the block and fell in Sheyan's hand. No one saw the key except Sheyan.

Sheyan stored the key inside his storage first and put his hand inside his pocket to take out a bundle of 100 dollar notes from his storage.

"Here is your reward, we are done here, let's leave." Sheyan threw the bundle to old man and went out of factory with Sarah.

"Where now?" Sarah asked after staring the scooter.

"Let's go to a hotel and rest for the night." Sheyan said.

"What about those robots, they won't be coming anymore?" Sarah asked.

"Oh right, let me check." Sheyan said and opened the notifications of nightmare realm he ignored when he was hugging Sarah.

[ You killed the T-1000 skynet sent to kill Sarah Connors. ]

[ Skynet has been completely angered by you, sabotaging its plans again n again. ]

[ Skynet has decided to temporarily give up on its plan to kill Sarah Connor and send a team of Terminators to deal with you first. ]

[ A team of Terminators will arrive in 20 hours along with the T-X which skynet was planning to send to deal with you. ]

[ Affecting the timeline to this degree will result in unpredictable changes. ]

[ Please be prepared to deal with the consequences of your actions. ]

'Affected the timeline? Wait, Sarah has fallen in love with me and i have come to love her too, so there is no chance i will let Kyle approach her at all, that means there will be no John Connor, if there is no John Connor, then there is no need for Skynet to send a Terminator back in time to kill Sarah at all, but Terminators were still sent and they won't disappear in thin air just cause time line changed, a living proof of it appeared in Terminator: dark fate movie, so how will my current action affect the timeline, hahahaha this has just become even more interesting.' Sheyan fell in thinking after reading the notifications from nightmare realm.

"Hey Hey you still there?" Sarah waved her hand in front of Sheyan and called him.

Sheyan came out of his thoughts and spoke to Sarah "Sorry, i was just thinking about some things, and no Terminator will come to kill you anymore."

"Huh? Why? They gave up on their assassination plan or something?" Sarah asked.

"Yup, they found out that i am a much bigger problem than you are, so they have temporarily given up on dealing with you." Sheyan replied.

"Wait does that mean they will be sending terminators for you now?" Sarah asked, her eyes filled with worry.

"Yeah, but there is no need to worry, didn't you see how strong i am." Sheyan smiled and patted Sarah's head.

"But..." Sarah didn't know what to say, she felt so useless for the first time in her life.

"No buts let's go to a hotel and rest for the night, there will no Terminators appearing for next 20 hours at least." Sheyan said and sat behind Sarah on the scooter.

Sarah still looked worried but nodded and drove towards a hotel.

They soon reached a good enough hotel to rest for the night and checked in.

After coming inside their room, Sheyan laid on the bed.

"I am going to take a shower first." Sarah said and quickly went inside the bathroom.

Sheyan sat back up after Sarah left.

"It's time to take out the loots and increase my strength, to deal with the team of Terminators that will be sent by the Skynet, my current abilities and strenth might not be adequate enough." Sheyan spoke and took out all the keys from his storage along with all the bodies of Terminators, Gensha and Arthur.

He used his ability to take out the Crimson keys from their bodies too.

With the addition of these Sheyan held a total of 35 Crimson keys.

5 from T-750, 4 from T-800, 1 from T-1000, 1 from Gensha, 1 from Arthur, 23 from normal police officers.

He opened all the keys of police officers first, many things appeared in front of him including glock 17 (23), bullets (23 boxes), ability scrolls (46) and gun Holsters (23). He stored them all in the spatial storage first and opened the keys of T-750s, again many things appeared in front of him such as Cobalt steel body parts (25), Close combat ability scrolls (5), C.P.U. microchips (5), batteries (5) and of course ability crystals (10).

Sheyan opened T-800's keys this time, it also dropped Cobalt steel body parts (20), ability scrolls (28), battery(4), C.P.U. microchips(4), and ability crystals(8).

T-800 obviously had many abilities such as driving, light fire arms, heavy fire arms, close range combat, long range combat, sniping, weapon manufacturing. So it dropped many ability scrolls.

Next Sheyan opened the key belonging to Arthur.

Chest opened and revealed 10 items, Sheyan's nightmare imprint also rang.

Sheyan didn't mind the notification and looked at the items laying in the chest.

A burger which could restore health points, one low grade recovery potion which could restore 100 points of health point in just 3 seconds, one Intermediate endurance scroll, one basic close range combat scroll, a boxing fluency scroll, a bracelet, a baseball bat, a vest and a translucent crystal.

Sheyan stored the basic close combat scroll, boxing fluency scroll and health restoring items in his spatial storage.

He looked at the learning condition for Intermediate Endurance, he has only basic endurance lvl 1, learning this intermediate Endurance ability will surely increase his defence. But he found out that to learn this ability he needs to lvl up his basic endurance to lvl 3 atleast.

Sheyan stored it too and picked up the vest, its only property was +5 defence. Sheyan stored it inside too and picked up the bracelet. This bracelet was called 'Warrior's soul' it could increase Strength by 3 points, Sheyan equipped it right away. He glanced at the baseball bat but stored it too.

Finally he picked up the translucent Crystal and crushed it directly.

Sheyan opened the ability's description.

[ Gold skin: Activating the ability will make your skin as hard as gold for 5 minutes, in this state all physical attacks on you will be reduced by 60%. Cooldown: 10 minutes. ]

[ Innate ability grading: B rank. ]

"One more defensive ability, ahh i pity my future opponents." Sheyan sighed and prayed silently for his future opponents.
