"Ah! You two are back?" Admon was sitting in a chair outside the walls, waiting for the duo to return. It had been almost an hour since he had finished the operation and he had been under a great deal of stress when he couldn't find the duo after the operation. If the system hadn't told him that the duo had gone out for a walk, he would have even planned to look for them in the forest.
"Nya..." Nalin suddenly tried to make amends by rubbing Admon's leg, while Vered, as usual, climbed onto his master's shoulder and gently touched his face. It was as if the two were begging for forgiveness.
"I know you are both superior and smarter than other animals, but sometimes it is good to be calm." Admon said gently, clearly realising this. With that, he picked Nalin up and had her sit on his lap, then gently stroked her head and, looking out over the forest, added, "It's a beautiful day."
"Does our lord realise what we're doing?" Vered suddenly asked her sister in a mind-message, to which she replied, "I think so, now that we've been scolded." The two of them had incredibly misunderstood what Admon had told them and therefore thought they were being scolded. However, Admon was really trying to praise them for being smart enough to come back home.
"Nyaaa!" Nalin suddenly looked up and enquired about the woman's condition, his master seemed much more tired than usual, which was why he wondered if something was wrong with her.
"Are you asking how she is?" Admon had immediately noticed Nalin's curiosity. The little cat shook her head at his question, and seeing this, Admon said, "You are very clever, my dear." and began to caress her head even more. After about 20 seconds of stroking, he added, "she is fine, the operation took a long time, but she is fine, she just needed a little time, there was a lot of blood loss."
Nalin had seen his master happy for the second time today, in fact he had planned to get things done after he had gone to sleep, but the faster he completed the job the more praise he might get from his master. Of course, his master didn't care about anything, so he thought he was being scolded, not praised. At least his master showed him enough respect despite the scolding, so that was better than nothing.
"I'm too lazy to cook, and I have a pile of unfinished work, it's really annoying." Admon complained with a sudden sigh. He was so used to cultivating that something was stirring inside him and his mind was constantly telling him to sit cross-legged on the ground and start cultivating. Yet his laziness got in the way and he chose to do nothing in spite of it all.
Slowly he got up from his chair and started to walk towards his house. At that moment he saw his plants and said with a sigh, "I wish they were watered when I got up...". Now it was time to rest.
Hearing these words, Nalin, Vered and every living creature around realised directly what they had to do. However, Nalin had a better idea than anyone else. I think the woman they had rescued was going to have a new job, it was time for her to become a servant, not a princess.
Every creature in the garden or in the house knew how heavy Admon's sleep was. No power could move him unless the system woke him up, so there was no way he could wake up unless the steward of his own pleasure wanted his to. So it was possible to say that he could sleep for perhaps even two weeks. On top of that, being in such a sacred garden and house would certainly have given her a quick "healing" and many other things that would have woken her up sooner.
Only time had to pass. Nalin had very diabolical plans in mind.
-----
When Admon opened his eyes, he could clearly hear the sounds coming from his garden. It was possible to recognise everything from the chirping of birds to the deep light of the sun. It had been a long time since he had breathed so easily and felt so relaxed, and even if the fatigue in his body was stereotypical, it was still possible to notice how relaxed even his bones were.
"Good morning, sir." Admon saw the system message that had suddenly appeared in front of him and asked, "good morning system, what's up?"
"I just wanted to wish you good morning, sir, and to tell you that your patient is awake." As soon as Admon read the system message, he got up and changed his clothes, the most important part for him was whether his patient was okay or not.
"Let's check on the patient then, shall we?" said Admon and left his room and started walking towards the garden. With every step he could hear the sound of a hoe hitting the soil coming from the garden, it seemed to worry him to think that someone had broken into his garden and stolen vegetables. That's why he increased his speed a little more and came to the garden gate. What she saw in front of her was not even among the things she expected to see.
"Miss, what are you doing!?" Admon moved quickly and snatched the hoe from the woman's hand. The sweat-soaked woman gently turned to Admon and said, "Are you awake, sir? I hope you had a good sleep." Admon did not expect to experience such a shock when he woke up, he was really surprised, this sensation that he had not felt for a long time had officially caused adrenaline in his whole body and this event made even his eyes open wide.
"You're hurt madam, why are you working, you don't need to try to pay your debt like this!" Admon suddenly shouted and scolded the woman as much as he could. The woman fell to the ground in fright and Admon, who had noticed the expression on her face, grabbed her by the hand and lifted her up, thinking that he was showing his angry face to someone again.
"Please allow yourself di---" he was about to finish when she interrupted him and shouted seriously, "Please allow me to be your servant, sir!"
With a puzzled face, Admon, unable to figure out what was going on, looked at the state of the garden and, seeing its well-kept appearance, questioned "what?". I guess the game of fate had solutions once again.
