Rebuilding Bonds and Strength: A Journey of Redemption and Growth

Half a month later, I woke up upon schedule, early as the sun rises, I practice mana breathing, absorbing the elements in the air most compatible to mine.

And then cultivate them to strengthen my physical body and magic, and with the sunrise in my view, it's calming to the strained mind, like an upbringing life.

Afterwards, I begin practicing and working on logs to make the pieces for a large scale cabinet for not just the witches and me, but Nurma and the kids as well.

But I'm just practicing right now, so I'm making a small one first for us to live in, which will take a few months by how poor of a builder I am, but I'm still learning it.

After that, I'll go hunting with Nurma, we usually come back to the cave after and eat with the others who are still salty with me but accepting of this situation cause of the mini renovations they made to the cave, which Nurma is unsure if they like or if they hate all of it.

But she hangs out with me all day, so she doesn't complain, the only thing she finds strange is that after we hunt, I eat their souls to store for later, she doesn't get it, and thinks it's weird, but doesn't question it too.

We've been hanging out with each other for a while now too, and I've noticed her belly getting bigger, how long has it been since conception, it's growing fast?

Actually, is she getting enough to eat, after we hunt and eat, we usually pass out in a group around the campfire inside, or I'll sneak out to meditate under the moonlight. I've decided to train nonstop since leaving Asmodeus's dungeon. It's like a newer obsession.

Occasionally, Autumn will come searching for me, she usually finds me atop the mountain of our cave. Sometimes she'll make a move, other time, she just comes and sits next to me, have me kiss her and talk. She figured out that I could communicate like this.

I completely forgot if I told her or she figured out, but she says it's a secret she's going to hold onto, funny.

As for the others, I'll tease Alison about how she had hooked up with her best friend when we got to their old coven, and it always gets Athena cracking up.

At the same time, I'd practice my Tetlum while with them at night before bed, and Autumn would teach me a little when I wasn't cultivating at nighttime.

Which led me to today, speaking like Nurma to them while Nurma's actually speaking like how me and Katsumi used to. Which had me thinking?

Coming into the cave after washing up before me and Nurma are supposed to go hunting, "Hey, you all, come here!" I said coming into the cave in a hurry.

Wearing the mixed purple amulet outside my shirt today, I saw them all get up with questioning faces.

"What?" The girls confusingly asked and watched.

But shaking my head, I grabbed my amulet and took it off, "Family, my family~" I said sweetly, thinking this is a great time, and confused, they looked at me oddly.

But hopping up, "Yes! When!" and hearing Nurma agree like that, I activated the communication device the Guardian Spirit gave me, and connecting a link-

This transparent mirror floated above my hand with a magenta light radiating from the amulet. In an instant we saw silky milk-chocolate, long white hair, and light hues of gold shimmering as a tall but flat lady came in to view. And upon seeing her, "Katsumi!" I yelled out.

And startling her, she looked over at me in shock, and with her eyes wide open, "Aster! Is That You! Oh Shit!" She screamed, and waving at her, I giggled a little bit.

"Honestly, what type of reaction is that elder sister"

But striking a nerve she growled back at me, "Excuse me you little shit! I'm not the slick bastard who's been unreachable this entire time!! Also I fucking died! Ok!" She passionatly tantrumed, and laughing myself.

I came back with, "Oh my God! Same!" What a big ol coincidence, "Guess we can say we twining in death" I jeered on and staring at me, "Well... You're... Hmm"

Giving me a dead stare by the time I looked back up at her, "Anyhow, how is everyone~ Like the red head, the hot headed runt, Iris, and big bro Lex" I asked her.

And without a change in a dead tone, "There fine, it's like, they'd be more surprised to hear from you since this isn't really common and we were going to find you as soon as they get the resources to repair our portal"

Not even realizing that they'd bother, "Oh yeah, that makes sense..." But grinning she said, "Although at the same time, our brothel is in shambles, so we'll have to regroup as a pack, family stays together~" telling me this, I chuckled more for what she said.

"Yeah, such a "Loving Family" so for sure" I said back sarcastically, but then thought back to it, "So how is Ursula, is she doing well?" I questioned her whereabouts.

But rolling her eyes, "She's rebelling right now," she said confusing me greatly, "What do you mean she's rebelling?" And Katsumi just started putting fingers up.

"Bro, your girlfriend's a crazy bitch. Robbery, vandalism, arson, illegal beast handling, and an occasional murder" she said and my jaw dropped...

"What... Wait are we still together? And we're we ever dating?" Those questions puzzled my mind more than what she's doing, I... Forsaw this eventually.

"Well you never broke up with her and we're immortal, plus she's still obsessed with you, thus the occasion murder towards possible suitors and those daring"

Baffling me... I just sighed and shook my head.

"That's so her..." I sighed heavily.

"I know right, she even got imprisoned in hell as a punishment to die and then be stripped of her power for a year. She's such a problem maker in this town"

She sighed heavier than me.

Feeling a hand on my shoulder, all of the girls had began swarming behind me, and glancing fastly, I saw Katsumi's eyes glimmer, "Who're they?" She asked.

And pointing at them one by one, "Athena, she's our coven leader, or so I believe her to be, next is Alison, a friend but reminds me of our sisters occasionally, then there's Autumn, she's baring my child and she's very close to me as a friend, those three ars witches" I told her, and her eyes just widened, "Your having kids..."

But ignoring that, "Lastly, this is Nurma, she's my partner here in the Dark Realm, as well as a new or ancient varient of goblin, she's feisty but sweet~"

Introducing her to everyone, I said to them, "Every, One, Katsumi. Elder bitcher" I told them, Athena held her mouth, probably cause of how fast this happened.

Introducing them, she then started speaking perfect Tetlum to them, getting them to jolt before becoming super excited, meanwhile I'm just super shocked...

"The fuck?!" And she rolled her eyes at me.

"I came prepared for this day, fucking accept it" and I'm just dumbfounded? "Bitch please," this led to a little bit of a scuffle between us before I was kicked out of the conversation by the girls wanting to talk to her, and as I was just on the sidelines, I saw her from my side, and she winked at me, oh hey, new arm...

She was showing off where there were scars. Damn.

A few hours went by and I felt exhausted, looks like the amulets using my mana for fuel? But at the same time not wanting to die, I started hunting for dinner as they spoke and came back with the elk-bear beast.

Preparing it, by the time dinner was done, I came over to Nurma's straw bed and passed out. I want to talk to her some more too, but this's way too energy costing.

The next day it repeated, but at the request of the witches, and I was able to get a steady update on everyone through the week, they were doing good, trading herbs and common demon potions to stabilize themselves in the realm layer they were in.

After hearing about me, Ursula's been waiting patiently to talk to me, but Katsumi was never around them when I called, Lex was overjoyed and the other two were glad I was alright, Sora a little more after hearing that I died and went to my respective home land as a Dark Incubis, getting a fair trial like abyssals.
