Incomplete System in Marvel

A man wakes up in the body of Peter Parker with almost no memories of his previous life. How will he survive in a Marvel Universe that is much more different and dangerous than just the movie universe? A system, of course! But what’s up with this system being in version 0.1 and having almost no features? ------------ Turn off your brain and don't put too much thought into things. I certainly didn't.

Night at the Museum

"My brain is fried…" I mumble to myself, lounging back in my chair. I feel hungry, but my fridge is practically empty, and seeing as its already 1 AM, I doubt any food deliveries work right now.

I had been spending hours upon hours every single day this week trying my hand at making an AI similar to Jarvis. I had expected this to be a grueling task, but surprising no one, it is even more difficult than I first imagined.

I had hoped that having spent all that time grinding my coding skill by reading books in class would have made this a somewhat easy task but nope. Despite my high skill level, reading books and putting those skills to use are two completely different things.

At the very least, my skill is leveling up many times faster while practicing compared to reading, but this does make me wonder what Tony's coding skill level must be or if he perhaps has a higher ranked skill.

"Calling to any free officers. There is a robbery in progress at Quick-E Mart over at Freedom Street 420. Someone go take care of it." I hear the police radio next to me.

I've had this thing turned on the whole time while at home just in case something interesting happens. I almost feel like a creep. By now, I know of all the gossip between the different officers in the city, and I could probably name each cop correctly when meeting in person just by hearing their voices.

Gwen came to check out my apartment and keep me company for a bit a few days ago, and boy was she surprised when she heard her dad suddenly speak on the radio. All in all, though, she seems to be taking this me being spiderman thing quite easily. Seeing me casually listening in on all the police communication lines and hearing that I was working on a completely self-aware AI didn't seem to surprise her at all.

My new stalky tendencies and Gwen aside, I would take almost any excuse to go out and stretch my limbs a bit. Besides going to school and doing my daily training quest, I haven't left my apartment even once this week.

Not that I'm going to move for some random robbery, it's probably just some low leveled thugs that will net me next to no experience and money compared to the farming in the dungeon. No, I'm waiting for something a little more exciting, an actual villain to get off their ass and do something.

"We are getting reports of a break-in at the NYC Art Museum. All officers prioritize going there as fast as possible but take precautions as the camera feed shows a man inside a giant metal robot at the front entrance."

See, that's more like it. As if on cue, some poor bastard has heard my pleas and manifested a reason for me to go out and take a much-needed break from sitting at my computer. My ass was getting sore anyways.

Before the dispatcher could even finish her message, I had already put on my full costume and jumped out the window. My plans of using the roof entrance to enter and exit unnoticed have been spoiled by Felicia, who has already been using that daily, forcing me to use my window after making sure nobody is looking my way.

I have considered following her out just like our first meeting a few times, curious as to what she is up to, but always decided against it as she would probably end up getting suspicious if I followed her too often.

Swinging my way through the city in the dark of the night, I think about who this guy robbing an art museum could be. The immediate bad guy with a giant metal suit that comes to mind is the Iron Monger but considering the ironman suit isn't even an idea in Tony's mind yet, I doubt he would be the one.

I arrive well before any cops have reached the place and immediately notice the several trucks haphazardly parked in front of the museum with their back doors open. A few men are standing guard next to them, but they look much less equipped that Kingpin's men.

The museum's front doors are pushed open as a couple of men clumsily carry out a giant sculpture of a half-eaten banana. Before they can lift it into the truck, though, one of them loses their grip on it and lets it fall to the ground and break into pieces. Good job, dude.

Since I'm observing them from some ways away, I'm not able to catch what exactly they are were saying, but I see them trying to salvage the broken sculpture for a few seconds before giving up and starting a roasting session on the bloke who dropped it, before long they all start yelling at each other, these guys seem like total rookies.

"Enjoying the show?" I suddenly hear a familiar voice beside me.

Turning my head, I see Black Cat staring at me. When did she get here?

"It's quite a good comedy. Just trying to figure out who the producer is." I say, turning back to the men fighting amongst each other without caring for the surroundings. I'm not sure why Black Cat is here but seeing as she is kind of just hanging out and, like me, enjoying the show, she doesn't seem to be a threat.

"Looking at their clothing, they should be following Rhino," Felicia says. "I heard rumors that Aleksei hates his followers being smarter than him, so he hires the dumbest guys on the market. It appears to be true."

Not even trying to challenge her claim, the front entrance bursts open a second later, and a man inside a two-and-a-half-meter tall, bulky metal rhinoceros armor walks out, leaving behind a head-shaped hole above the door frame.

"What are you idiots doing?!" He yells at his subordinates loud enough that even we can clearly hear his voice.
